Stopped in for a late lunch and was not impressed. The staff were very nice and friendly. Quick to get drink orders. But there seemed to be only two people working the floor and it was not enough. The food. The table side guacamole was«ok» but if you’re used to real guacamole it will leave you disappointed. Burger and fries were decent, except the kitchen put mustard on my burger which I didn’t request and don’t eat. No one checked in after the dishes came out so I took the bread off and wiped the patty with a napkin. The drinks. Coffee was never freshened up and there was no water placed on the table.

Always disappointing. Salsa is runny. Service is slow and inattentive. We’ve dined here a few times always hoping the experience will be better but that hasn’t happened yet. Try Applebee’s instead. Only a mile up 23 but has a nice menu and great happy hour specials.

Thanks for being open and no one there to seat us, at the bar or anywhere in the restaurant at 11:30am. Stood around for a few minutes then left because no one was there but your doors are open. Weird.

Came here for happy hour — turns out they’re running a promotion where you can get $ 5 presidential margarita, and they come with a shaker that pours out(total) 6??? drinks. SOAWESOME. Got the strawberry mango and it was delicious and lasted my entire meal. 2 for $ 20 is always awesome. My friend and I shared a margarita flat bread(not on the 2 for $ 20 menu) & chips and salsa for the apps. I got the guacamole burger with a black pram patty and it was DELICIOUS but an absolute mess to eat. Everything kept falling out of the bun, I must have went through a trees worth of napkins. But the meal was awesome, and our friend Spencer who was bartending is super cool and friendly. Would have gotten dessert if we weren’t so stuffed!

A Typical Chili’s clean restaurant and half way decent food. My double cheese burger was burnt all around the egdes and the the cheese was way messy. I have to say I hate the kiosk way to pay. Long gone the interaction of server and guest. It even tells you what to tip. Overall just a chain restaurant with nothing noteworthy. Except you can watch A Marshall Football game at the bar.

Although this is an average chain I have to give the staff 5 stars for service with a smile … Both times I’ve come I had Chris as my waiter and he is so nice ! I have a one year old who makes a huge mess and they don’t make me feel bad at all. Tonight we went in for late dinner and again a mess but smiles still continue. Last time we were there he spilled a full glass of water and they didn’t care. Just wanted to compliment Chris … Thank u !

Nice place, but on weekends it can get really loud. Nice food, good service, but the wait was a bit too long, and it was crowded, but on weekdays, it is a nice place(in the afternoon)

Wife and I love chilis and this is one of the better ones. Once in awhile we have a bad experience but in general food is fresh and service is great. I’m a regular

Great Place and hard working staff. I miss the dry rub ribs and jalapeño corn bread. Taken off the menu.

The new«lighter options» menu is very appealing. I ordered the mango chicken which had a nice Caribbean jerk tang and a refreshing sweetness with the mango chunks. This could be a new«go to» at chilis.

I went to a Chili’s for my first ever visit. It was Saturday at noon. I was greeted and promptly seated. As it was my first time here, Katie and Lisa gave me time to review the menu. I ordered the Margarita Chicken Bowl with Shrimp and Spiced Panko Onion Rings as well as a Paloma(Tequila, grapefruit juice and Sprite.) I watch various sporting events on the tv while listening to U2 and soft rock. The service and food were great. I imagine the place could get loud since the place lacks a tiled ceiling which makes for greater acoustics.

I was not a fan of this Chili’s originally when they opened but in the last year it has really become a great place. Yes, It is a chain but really good at what they do. There is such an improvement in customer service that it must get noted. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Last time we were there we had a waitress Chelsea who was FANTASTIC and such a pleasure! We were a group of 5– all drinks were great, food was really very good and the service was also excellent! BRAVO Chili’s for listening to your customers and making a huge improvement!

Waitress was nice, food was okay, I got a shrimp and chicken fajita, I liked the shrimp however, the chicken was blah, the margarita was overly priced $ 9 and half of it was ice, but it did taste good. Got a coupon for free tortillas and guacamole dip I believe which was pretty good. My experience was okay.

I had a good experience here. The food is good its a chain after all so nothing super special. But I have say the service is great. The waiter Joe and waitress crystal are both wonderful people. I went for lunch the with my 3 year old son there the other day and I was already seated and I ordered my food and app already when I went into my bag and noticed my wallet was not in there I panicked and felt completely embarrassed. But joe and crystal assured me that it was alright and that I could go home get the wallet and come back or call my husband and get our cc info through him so I can pay the bill. I ended up calling my husband. It was nice to see that they actually trusted me enough to leave come back and pay the bill without stiffing them.

Soup came out cold, sent back. New bowl was hot. Chicken bacon avocado lunch sandwich was disappointing with one little sliver of avocado on it. Asked for more avocado and was given some. Friend got a bowl of chili and it too was cold. All this after waiting about 45 minutes. I don’t believe it was our servers fault and she was nice. The bar was on top of things too. The problem I believe is in the kitchen. Spoke with the manager who said it was very busy today. I don’t think that is a good excuse for cold food twice. She adjusted our price to try to make up for the issues. I would have given one star if they had not adjusted the price or given the extra avocado. In Riverdale you have a choice between Chili’s and Appleby’s. Go to Appleby’s.

I love chain places like this that are outside New York City because the people who work there are so much nicer, the food is better made and the prices aren’t ridiculous. What is that about? This place was really nice. I’ve come here twice — each time after visiting Mountain Creek waterpark. The most recent time I came here with 3 other people, we ordered 2 – 3 appetizers and an entrée each, maybe a couple drinks. The bill came out to like $ 54. That is amazing! Looking forward to my next visit!

Visited the Riverdale, NJ Chili’s this evening with my wife and mother. I myself have been to this Chili’s 5 times in the past month and on three occasions observed one particular server going about her routine that impressed me a lot… and not just because she’s easy on the eyes(very). While the rest of the staff look to be doing their jobs very well, Christina is consistently remarkable. Tonight was the first time she was with the pair/team serving my table directly, and her speed, effort, energy was as impressive as ever. An easy socializer, good humored, knowledgeable and never seems to miss the smallest detail– even on tables she ISN’T working. If something looks amiss, she’s on it before anyone can notice to complain. A real pro and the type of employee I’d try to steal were I a business owner myself. My wife and I made it a point to pull her over to tell her all this to her face tonight as it’s always easy to complain about bad service, and too few say anything, even when it’s exemplary. Christina– you are precisely that. The food and drinks are otherwise exactly what you expect from a good kitchen in a chain restaurant. Chili’s menu isn’t *my* cup of tea, so my choices are few, but what I order is always done quite well.

This place is a joke. We walked in at about 3PM on a Sunday and it took ten minutes for our waitress, Tracy, to come to our table after we sat down. It took almost twenty minutes to get our appetizers and damn near 45 minutes to get our entrees. Our orders were incorrect but since our waitress never came to check on us we did not bother correcting them. Noone walking by could be bothered to take our dirty dishes. I couldn’t help but notice dirty dishes on the bar that sat there my entire visit, & drinks the bartender set out that serves let sit for twenty minutes. During my meal, a large group walkedin and waited for ten minutes at the host stand before one of them had to walk to the bar to ask who he had to see to get a table. From the kitchen to the management, every single aspect of this place is a joke. They did not deserve the money we paid for our meal, and even though we are typically generous tippers, the waitress did not deserve the little tip we decided to give her.

This was an overall disappointment. Our first issue was that the light directly over our table flickered like crazy and was annoying during dinner. We did bring it to the attention of the server, but he couldn’t do anything and there was no effort on his part to inform the manager, which was what should have been done. From the food we ordered, the Quesadilla Explosion was eh, nothing to write home about. The ribs and steak were good, but the mashed potatoes were dry. The kids Mac and Cheese was not good for my kid, however, my dad liked it. Which means it’s loaded with salt. When I tasted it, all I tasted was salt too. Corn side for kid was really good.
