Worst burger ever. The wait is insanely long and for what? I think if McDonalds were rare that people would love their burgers way more than this place. The burger was bland. The fries needed salt and the shake was okay.

If you need to go to Unilocal to help make up your mind about going to In-N-out, you’ll never understand.

I don’t know if the workers here are stupid, incompetent, or overworked but they take way too long to serve the food. I mean a 30 minute wait for a hamburger is pathetic and it wasn’t even busy!

We came at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Being a California transplant, this was the absolute highlight of my day. Service was friendly as always, and the food came fairly quickly for having three burgers and a cheese fry well done on our order. This location has lots of outdoor seating which is nice. My burger was just right, and the well done fries were crispy but not burnt. The only thing that was not quite perfect was the cheese on the fries. The fries were taken out before the cheese had melted all the way, leaving a square of not so melted American cheese in the middle. Because the cheese had not melted all the way it did not stick to the fries like it usually does, forcing me to take a bit of cheese followed by a bite of fry. Moral of the story, if you suspect your cheese was not melted all the way ask them to finish the job!

Food $ 3.50 double double $ 1.35 French fries I think my friends from California have nostalgia bias. They claim this is what they most about California. The burger is like Five Guys with fewer options. It’s like a step up above Hardee’s. The burger was tasty, filling, and messy but the fries had enough salt to murder a group of slugs(Is there a term for that?). The burger meat was a little too thin for me. Décor Looks like a basic burger joint, but they had way too much staff so they just walked around cleaning tables even though they were already clean. Service Friendly staff. They only have like four things on the menus and they waited patiently while I was being indecisive. Would I come here again? Probably. For a step above Hardee’s, the price is amazing. I think my friends miss this joint more for the price than the taste.

Great food! The wait here was a bit for fast food, but it was perfect! I got a double double with fries and a coke. Everything was delicious. If you have never gone, you need to try this place ASAP! Fries are fresh cut and perfect, my favorite of any fast food place! I will be back again!

Is in-n-out ever bad? Rhetorical question, we all know in-n-out is never bad! Your food is made fresh and fast. It’s simple but delicious. If you haven’t been to in-n-out before you might be thrown off by the simple menu(burger, cheeseburger, and double cheeseburger) but they do these simple things perfectly. Many people complain about the fries but I love that they’re cut fresh in the store and then fried. They’re soooo good! In-N-Out has a «secret» menu that is not so secret. Feel free to google it for tons of ideas but the basics are ordering you burger animal style(comes with a special sauce, sautéed onions, etc), protein style burger(no bun, it’s wrapped in crisp lettuce — I love this option!), Neapolitan shake(strawberry, vanilla, chocolate all together), and animal fries(fries with the special sauce, cheese, and onions.) There are a lot of other options too but these are my favorite ones that I frequently get! Enjoy! And if you don’t like it, HOORAY — one less person in line when I go… Because the lines can get long!!! But I’m kidding of course. I hope you love it as much as I do.

When I lived in California I loved going to In N Out course this was 30 years ago. So when we were travelling thru Utah. I had to have a burger. The restaurant was clean, good happy service. Then the order was ready burger great !!! Fries saggy and not salted horrid. Very disappointed. But I’m glad to see they start workers at 10.50 an hour. That is a slap in the face to Walmart’s 9.00 they keep advertising about… Good job IN N OUT

Not a huge fan of in and out, but still better than most of the alternatives. I like putting the fries on my burger to make a «fry burger». I feel like the fries are mediocre at best, and the burger just doesn’t have any meat to it. Still tasty enough for four stars but not as great as everyone says it is

So I finally tried the legendary In N out burger… and it was great! Tasty fresh food for a good price. I still don’t get the insane fandom the place has but I will be back.

You know you have a miniscule menu when it makes that of Five Guys look expansive… basically, burgers, fries, drinks and that’s it here… I have friends from CA… we all have friends from CA, right? And all of them, with this sort of smug air of superiority, blather on and on about this chain as if it’s somehow akin to that much ballyhoo-ed second coming. When it first hit the shores of Utah in Draper, a friend of mine(coincidentally from CA… or not), picked me up a burger there. Now, it was acceptable, once I ejected all that nasty pinkish glop they put on it(did you know they don’t have mayo? True story), but had been in the vehicle for a while first. Given that this place prides itself on fresh, Fresh, FRESH, I held off on reviewing that until I had a chance to experience a meal there the way they wanted it. In the first place, yes they do a decent burger. It tastes exactly as a burger should, but the patties are a bit small. I had to go and get another after the double-double, which never happens at Five Guys, *ahem*. So, the price on the menu, while seemingly a good deal, is less a good deal when you immediately have to go buy more food at the conclusion of eating whatever you ordered. I like the salt and pepper mix they put on the fries, but the fries themselves, while better than Five Guys, were not spectacular or anything. I wish I would have remembered they had sport peppers, but alternate choices are not too clearly displayed, in favor of their«secret» menu game that seems inexplicably popular. The obvious comparison to me is Five Guys, so let’s take it blow by blow. Peanuts: +1 to Five Guys. Fries +1 to In-N-Out, drink selection +1 to Five Guys(what is available at In-N-Out is pathetic), menu selection +1 to Five Guys and finally, the burgers themselves. If you just compared burger meat to burger meat, it would honestly be really close, but then we have the intangibles, like the buns and toppings. No bacon to be had at In-N-Out pretty much sinks them out of the gate and so, for burgers, +1 to Five Guys, which makes it, all in all, 4 to 1 in favor of Five Guys. Now, that’s not to say I wouldn’t hit the place up if I wanted a decent burger at the same time as I happened to be right by one, but in no way is it a destination spot for me. Of special note is the cleanliness factor. This place is by far the most pristine restaurant of its type I’ve ever been in… even to the point of excess, such as the bathroom, where the noxious odor of the cleaning chemical was so overpowering, it was difficult to breathe. I’m all for clean bathrooms, but not to the point where I’m crawling into a bottle of cleaner when I open up the door…

All restaurants in this chain have service with a smile which I really like. I also really like that you can get your burger protein style. Their strawberry shakes are amazing. The reason for the four stars is that I am not a big fan of hamburgers in general and don’t like fast food.

Went here at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and it was not busy at all for an In-n-Out, which is a good thing. Great service, food was prepared perfectly and served quick.

love in n out however on this particular night I had just been paid and only was given 50’s. we arrived at 1028 in the lobby and when we went to pay where told they couldn’t take our money. I’m all for following rules, but there was no sign in the lobby stating that they couldn’t take my money the cashier accepted my payment and said the manager said this time it was fine, but I never even saw the manager. needless to say if you’re going to enforce something post it everywhere you exchange money with the customer and the manager should be the one to explain now a entry level employee.

YUCKYUCKYUCK! I am not a drive through kind of girl, but I will take Burger King over this salted paper thin flesh flavored beef patty. Just in town to shop at COSTCO, husband gets his hair cut and the hairdresser suggests a few restaurants and then mentions IN N OUTBURGER. I wanted a COSTCO hot dog and head home,(hour drive). Oh-no! He says, maybe the IN N OUT will have something you will like. HAVEYOUSEENTHEIRMENU! BURGER1 – 2 or 3, onions or not and milk shakes. blah blah blah. I then proceeded to suggest that, «IN N OUTBURGER got its fame from young movie stars eating there after a night of drinking, and the reason everyone in Ogden suggests IN N OUT, is because it prob. just opened». Sure enough, Aug 2013! By the way, the photos below of the burgers must have been staged cause our patty was hard to find between the slider size grease bun. Note to men… If you live in the country where you have to drive hours to the nearest restaurant or store, «DONOTTAKEYOURFAMILYTOIN N OUTBURGER»! Unless you don’t want to get lucky for the next year. SALTY, GREASY, ITTYBITTYBUNCOMMITTEE! Just cause Paris Hilton ate there after a night of drinking doesn’t mean it is good.

First and foremost– anyone who says anything negative about In-N-Out should be taken out back and beaten with a rubber hose. Literally the happiest day of my life is the day In-n-Out opened in Ogden! I always get a double double, grilled onions, chopped chili’s, and well-done fries. Don’t forget to ask for some spread to dip your fries in. In-N-Out has the greatest chocolate shakes in the world. They’re pretty thick so the technique to drink them through the straw is to place the very edge of the the straw on the bottom of your front, upper teeth… this gives you the ability to slurp all of the goodness without sucking the straw down you’re throat. Trust me– It’s genius. Seriously though, how lucky are we? We are one of only five states to have been blessed with an In-N-Out. I never thought in a million years we would have one here. I think we should all thank the Good Lord for providing us with an In-N-Out in Ogden!

Try a double double, animal style fries, and top it off with a strawberry, chocolate, or vanilla shake(or any combination of the 3 flavors!) Limited items on the menu help keep the ordering simple.
