Spent an hour browsing with my wife and was never approached by an associate. At least across the street at HD they acknowledge you as a customer and ask how can we help you.

All the plants, shrubs, perennials, flowers in the garden section were dried out and stressed in poor condition so it was not the first time. totally neglected. Associate at checkout said they were just watered. I told her no they were NOT. Than she made the excuse they were understaffed. The manager came by and said they did not have enough people. I guess the associate wants someone to talk to while she walks around doing nothing by the entrance. Absolutely no customers — so they lie and are lazy. Went to customer service to complain, associate said they did not have enough people. Excuses for poor work constantly. As I was leaving, the manager was showing the associate how to water the plants. In contrast to a private nursery a half mile away, the owner was working in the green houses with a bell by the checkout to ring so she could come. Saw several other bad reviews of employee service in this store, it needs a complete overhaul. A shame I really looked forward to having a Lowes in Riverhead the other stores on Long Island have great garden sections. I normally don’t write reviews but this was so bad I had too.

Purchased a discounted custom order cabinet. Came back with a truck a few days later and was told«sorry we don’t have it», my bathroom is now dismantled and we have no vanity. We wasted 1.5 hours in the store for them to tell us this wonderful news.

So glad to have a Lowes on the east end, this is across and down from Home Depot. They have come a long way from 2 years ago when newer. Their customer service is up to other stores now, and they have helped on repairs for somewhat new items, even did an exchange when no time. They really have improved from new to experienced help, glad to have them out here.

This has to be the WORST Lowes I’ve ever been to. The people at the Customer Service desk were horrible !!! I asked this girl named Brianna about the propane exchange and that little thing had the nerve to look at me and walk away. I’m standing there thinking«ok she probably went to get something«… 10 minutes later I asked a gentleman if he knew where she went and he said«yes !! she went to lunch » … All I’m going to say is this… If you don’t want your blood pressure to go thru the roof or lose your sanity go across the street to Home Depot … Better yet. RUUUUUUNNNNNN !!!

Appliance delivery service to the Hamptons is inflexible and rude. Overcharges compared to Home Depot by $ 60. Won’t deliver on Saturdays. You must sit by your phone to set up delivery. On delivery day, you must answer the phone at 8 am or they cancel your delivery. They won’t allow you to call the delivery service to confirm. It’s all in their controll and very customer unfriendly.
