I recently got a manicure here and the manicurist was great but it was pretty obvious there was polish thinner in the color I chose. The color looked almost watery on my nails and not opaque like it was supposed to be. It also chipped super fast. I went with a friend and she got a gel manicure and her’s still looks great two weeks later. I will probably come back but I won’t go back to just polish anymore.

There are two types of women in this world. Those who want to hoot and holler and gab it up when they get their nails done and those who want to zone out, relax, and be pampered. I feel like a jerk because while the mom and daughter working the nail salon seemed like really nice women who loved to laugh and gossip with their clients, it was just NOT what I was looking for after a long week at work. I wanted peace and quiet and relaxation. The manicure itself was pretty good but the hand massage was over in a hot second… more like a hand shake. I asked that she trim my nails a bit and in what seemed like a retaliation almost, she then chopped them super short and commented with a curt, «You like your nails really short don’t you?» My thoughts? «um not THAT short!» But instead I replied with a diplomatic, «that’s fine.» But the polish job was great and they actually have held up through a weekend of home improvement projects and are still in great shape so I can’t complain there. More technical details: some of the tables/equipment are outdated but the chairs are super comfortable and the space is clean but clearly well used… no health concerns here, though. The polish selection is wonky at best. I’d probably bring my own color next time. All in all, if you’re a fun-loving, «girlfriend» getting ready to party(like, totally!), you will LOVE Linda and her daughter. Otherwise if you’re looking for something a little more serene, head to Star Nails in Bristol where you can hear a pin drop and you’ll feel like a bowl of Jello when you’re done.

Decent, friendly, comfortable chairs. First time visit, Im not sure if I will be a regular here… but I may stop in from time to time. Not too much choice in nail polish, especially for neutral colors. They had OPI, but not Essi(which is my favorite.) The woman I had was so nice. Overall, my toes look pretty good, though she cut them quite short. Which was fine for the winter months, but I normally like them trimmed. I’m not sure if they always do it this way… Also, I was there from 1015AM — 12PM and I was the only customer. I did get a mani and pedi, but Citi Nails on the East Side would have cut it to 60 min… just saying… 35– Mani and Pedi 12 – manicure 25ish– pedicure 28– Full set
