Seriously — HOTBAGUETTES I occasionally get stuck out here in the 951, and when I do, I come here. Got really disappointed at Lee’s so I gave up on them. This will be my go-to here on out =) Oh! I even tried their baked goods — Cookies. #Oprah #OMGBreadEveryDay

Food is absolutely delicious! So tasty and pungent with flavor! Food is fresh and service is outstanding! They’ve won our business. We will definitely be coming back for more. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

There’s something about their sandwiches that makes me keep wanting to come back. So far, I have only tried their signature rosemary chicken sandwich, which I would highly recommend to get on ciabatta bread. The creamy rosemary sauce that they used for this sandwich really pairs well with the tender slices of chicken. I normally get this sandwich as a combo with a salad and I just want to say, their salads are really fresh! I’ve had their salads twice so far and they’re not only pleasantly crunchy, but also fresh and delicious. So whether you’re a college student like me or someone who loves cafes with delicious sandwiches, stop by and see for yourself.

The sandwiches here are basic at most. I would recommend going to simple Simons in downtown Riverside over this place. They don’t really follow instructions either. I told them to add onions and avocado to my sandwich and they did not. I do not recommend this place, you are better off making a sandwich at home for yourself or going somewhere else

Great little place i tried the Portobello and steak on baguette, and rosemary chicken on ciabatta. The steak is good, but the rosemary chicken sandwich was way better, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The fries were frozen w/seasoned salt. The cookies are amazing! Try the peanut butter chocolate chips.

I am looking for a sandwich place to cater a meeting and came here to test out a couple of sandwiches. I ordered the rosemary chicken on ciabatta and the Cajun shrimp on a baguette. The bread was amazing on both. I wish I lived closer so I could go back just for that. I also loved the signature spread of mayo, mustard, black pepper and mustard seeds(I think). The Cajun shrimp was my favorite, hands down. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The rosemary chicken was good too — great flavor. I did think the portions of meat were sparse as others have said, but everything tasted delicious. Highly recommend!

I usually really enjoy the turkey wraps from here. It was my first time going inside usually we place work orders. The girl who took our order seemed as if she couldn’t be bothered. She was rude. When I ate the wrap the lettuce was wilted and the tomatoes were soggy. I gave it 3 stars because I have had amazing food here before. If it would have been my first experience I would not go back.

We had catering from here for our wedding yesterday and the food was an absolute hit. Not only was there a great variety of sandwiches but the delivery was on time and had a beautiful buffet set up. Would definitely order from here again!

Had a co-worker surprise us with a fantastic catered breakfast this morning from Baguette Bakery… Mixed sandwiches, burritos, pasteries, fruit, parfaits. Everything tasted great, and I will be visiting the café soon!

If you want good food close to school this is the spot. Anything on ciabatta bread is great.

Place is tucked it the corner of this center we were looking for somewhere with crème brûlée so we Googled and found this spot we got there a little after they opened an were told they only serve it for catering an have to be ordered a couple days in advance so that sucks. Anyway we got 2 of the portabello mushroom sandwiches and they were good. I feel like they held back on the meat though you taste more lettuce an bread an tomato definitely need to be portioned better. But over all our experience was pretty good. The lady who helped us was very nice an good customer service.

Amazing service and delicious food! This is a great spot to have lunch and catch up with friends between classes, since it’s close to campus :) Their signature rosemary chicken sandwich and the portobello steak are my favorite. I usually get both of these sandwiches with the ciabatta bread. The prices are really great– $ 4.95 for a full rosemary chicken sandwich. There is also an option to make it into a wrap. The spread is also very yummy and compliments the whole sandwich nicely. Also, the service always leaves me happy and full. The cashiers are always helpful and patient with any questions that we have. One example would be when we had a slight mixup with our order(which was our fault for being unclear sorry!) but they gave us a whole new sandwich without a problem! Thank you for the tasty sandwiches and we will be returning soon!

The owner Ty and manager Tiffany are the best of the best! There is nothing like their Chicken lasagna and cajun shrimp sandwich and even their french toast melts in your mouth. I love ordering food from here.

Decided to come here for lunch one day with some friends and I ordered the steak portabello sandwich on ciabatta bread and to my surprise, it was nice and tasty! I purchased the combo so it came with fries and a drink for $ 2.50 more or whatever it was. The fries just tasted like regular ol’ fries from any of those greek burger joints. For the price of the sandwich, it wasn’t bad but they could give you a little more for what you’re paying. I’d come back to get it again! They even give you a stamp card for when you’ve purchased 10 sandwiches, you get a free one. Good experience in all! Nice little spot for lunch for any UCR students nearby that want something quick thats not necessarily fast food or popcorn chicken since they don’t really serve food at boba tea house next door.

This bakery /café is hidden in between Rockstar Shrimp and Boba Tea House, so I was surprised when I arrived. I never noticed this place, but I’m glad I did! My boyfriend and I were both starving that day and I decided to come check out this place after seeing it on Unilocal. After looking at the menu, I ordered the full size Rosemary Chicken in a Baguette and my boyfriend ordered the full size Steak & Portobello. The lady gave us 3 – 4 types of bread to choose from, but I forgot what they are. Portion & Price: The price is definitely cheap for college students! A full size sandwich costs a little over $ 5 depending on the meat. Orders could be made into combos with salad, fries, or cookie for an additional price. There could be more meat, but I wouldn’t complain with this pricing. Service: The lady who took our orders was really friendly and talkative. We ordered to go and she even brought us our food! Overall: Would definitely come back again and try other types of sandwiches!

Their signature rosemary chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread is to die for… I always find myself craving it. I’ve been here many times and I still can’t get myself to try anything else. I wish they stuffed the sandwich with more meat and veggies though because it’s fairly thin. I suggest that you get the full portion(even for lunch)! And if that’s still not enough, there’s baked goods and fries/side salad that you can add to your order for a fee.

Found it! Late lunchtime visit. A small café with great potential for good food. The sandwiches are on the small side, but I can almost not hold a grudge… if it is very good. And it was. But it came with nary a bag of chips, fries, or even a salad to plump it out. I saw many pictures on Unilocal and reviews that talked of sandwiches with fries, but they didn’t make it to my plate, nor was it offered, nor could I find it even listed as a side on the menu until I got home and got on their website. What gives? Are we still having a recession? If you serve them, counter girl, upsell, you ninnie! So, small grudge set aside, here is the why and wherefore: –Rosemary chicken wrap. $ 4.95. I went with a spinach wrapper(you get to choose your bread option for any sandwich). The wrapper went extremely well, ate it all(unheard of) especially because I tend to leave half the bread on my plate. Wish there was more chicken, but loved the refreshing lettuce, tomato, and cuke rolled up inside. The combination made the whole sandwich bright. –Aioli exceptional, served on the side. –Steak and portabello on baguette. $ 6.15. The baguette would have made mama proud. It tasted freshly baked, not dry. But why would I probably not order this again? The low ratio of meat and mushroom to bread and veggies. And I swear, the portabello further masked the fact there was little meat. I saw Mr. B’s lip drop and he kept lifting up the top of the roll, looking, as if more would magically appear. It did not match the price at all. And frankly, the flavor of the meat/mushrooms was rather boring. The aioli is what made this sandwich ok. Just a few bakery items remained. Yep, the cupboard was almost bare, but I got to quell the question of how are the cookies. I got me an oatmeal raisin(no nuts) cookie. Well, actually 3. That is how many come in a bag, sold for $ 1.50. Good deal, but you gotta like undercooked dough, and you gotta have a sweet tooth. Usually my favorite, it was way too sweet for my palate. I would pass on this one unless I had a cuppa coffee with an extra shot of espresso. Now on the other hand, there was that brownie! Almost fudge-like. Hey! Is there someone in the kitchen who likes eating raw dough, or what? Still, it was good. So where are the nuts, guys? Bottom line to this run-on review? I would definitely order the rosemary chicken in any form, again. But I would not run out to the back of UCR just to get it. I know of too many very decent sandwich shops that, while less creative, give you more for your money.
