Waffles are fantastic. One of the best breakfast and lunch spots in Riverside. A long time locals favorite

Got Lori’s hash. The ground beef was pretty good, and even though I’m not a fan of potatoes they were well grilled. The poached eggs were somewhat overdone, and the OJ tasted like it came from concentrate. Also, they need to mention on their menu that they don’t serve lunch before ~11(was hoping to get a philly cheese steak)

I am going to be straight forward and honest and I LOVE food. Horrible service, bad attitudes, and horrible food NEVER coming back ever! Hope they go out of business

The food is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious! Service is great and it’s hard to find home cooking places like this anymore.

My girlfriend and I come here all the time I always get the chicken fried steak and B&G’s every time i get a random crave for it in the morning all I have to say is wanna go to loris? She immediately jumps out of bed and yells yes!!! I eventually need to try new items on the menu but it’s so hard when you just love what you love. Great place always great service and we have our laughs when I say no more coffee but he pours lol. Ok maybe I need some more. It reminds me of going to moms and getting good food with nice atmosphere.

We stayed in Riverside for three nights and went to breakfast two times here, if that gives you an idea of how good their breakfast is. Driving up, don’t let the«hole in the wall» look of the place scare you off, it is one of those local haunts that have the best eats. Great pancakes and HOT syrup!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. If you are of any shade of brown this is probably not the best place for you. We were completely ignored, were literally given different cups(I know the cups are all different but ours appeared to be their«old» worn down cups compared to others that were vibrant and decorated), waited much longer than others for our food and had to sit and wait uncomfortably for our check(after we had to ask for it). One worker in particular NEVER acknowledged us as our coffee cups went empty and he offered EVERYONE around us a refill. He never even glanced at our table. Our server was kind, but appeared to be shamelessly going through the motions. We literally were scared to eat our food because we could feel we were not welcome there. Needless to say, I know that our review will not make difference in the popularity of this restaurant but at least we can give a warning to those that may not be welcome here. Also, there was food was good, but definitely not worth the unfortunate racism.

Stopped by here for a stick to your ribs breakfast and that’s exactly what we got! The chili cheese omelet, which was delicious and Lori s hash… another good choice. Our server Lynn has worked here for over 15 years and is a sweetheart. Definitely has become one of our go to places. Love them on and pop places.

This was the perfect breakfast place for our family gathering of 12. Good food, comfortable surroundings, nice people.

The food here is okay. I ordered the sausage, egg and potato breakfast. The sausage consisted of 2 frozen patties but everything else seemed fresh made. I also ordered a side of 2 gravy biscuits which were from a can and gravy from a jar, and a side of bacon which was nice and seemed like it came from a butcher, thick and with a very nice flavor. My main complaint is the overuse of frozen or canned food. The main reason I go out for food is because I want someone to prepare it for me, not defrost it or heat it up for me. My breakfast was $ 7.50 for what I could have purchased at a store for about $ 1.55, or even less if I made it from scratch. But, it was decent and I didn’t have to cook or clean. I did notice a lot of people ordering Eggs Benedict so maybe I should try something a little more fancy than a standard made at home kind of breakfast next time.

Lori’s Café has been a long standing mainstay in Riverside for years, and it is still hanging in there! The food is fairly priced diner style offerings and the staff is super friendly. Loris Café focuses on serving breakfast and lunch and they’re usually closed by 1:30PM. My family and I found the food to be filling and the portions decently sized. They serve a hearty breakfast. It is just good food and good company and you just can’t ask for more than that in my opinion for a family breakfast. The only negative is that the diner is need of a deep cleaning. The table linens probably should be tossed as they are showing their age cleanliness wise.

Lori’s Café has been here since I was a kid. It has changed names a few times, but a true woodcrest staple. I took my husband for the first time this morning and it was great. I didn’t go in with high expectations or thinking it would be the best thing I’ve ever eaten, so maybe that’s why I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered the French toast and a side of biscuits and gravy and everything tasted as it should. It tasted as if it was made at home which I appreciate on a lazy. We will definitely come back here!

Found this little gem down the street from our place and we definitely had a good experience. The waiter was incredibly nice and timely with our orders. Portions are large and good. We ordered biscuits and gravy(which tasted very fresh) and my husband ordered the bacon and cheese omelet. Both came with potatoes and toast. Service was prompt, and we will definitely try this place again.

Great little breakfast place. Hidden, I have lived in riverside for 8 years and I have never seen this place. It not appealing from the outside but inside its a cute place and the bathrooms are super clean. Great bacon eggs and pancakes. Real homemade food. Only thing I didn’t like was watching golf on the TV. Lol

I always order The Old Country and it is ALWAYS delicious. My go-to for a delicious savory breakfast. Their biscuits and gravy are also extremely yummy. This is a hidden gem in Riverside. Wish I could give this place more publicity for its quaint, homey and always delicious breakfast. Love love love love love.

The coffee wow was great, oops had like 3 cups lol not even knowing it. This place deserves more than 5 stars more like 10. Totally recommend it, love these little restaurants always the best

The boyfriend and I found ourselves driving through Riverside with a hunger for a big breakfast. We came across Lori’s Café from a Unilocal location search. I usually do not prefer traditional breakfast foods so I suggested this place with slight trepidation and hope they also served lunch foods. Major pleasant surprise. The food came in ginormous portions and was so tasty. The boyfriend had the chicken fried steak and I had Lori’s Hash. We were both fat and happy when we left that place. And don’t forget to check out their horseshoes and western antiquities while you dine on their monstrously delicious breakfasts. Service was impeccable too.

Meh, I wanted to live this place but I didn’t. Creamer tastes bad, so coffee tasted bad. Same milk offered for oatmeal, so I assume it tasted bad. I complained and got more of the same :/hubby thinks it’s powdered milk? I likened this to eating at a nursing home.
