This is the best place to eat in the Tyler mall. I have tried most everything on the menu, and its all very flavorful. It is a little more pricey then the rest of the fast food available, but its fresh and the portions are generous. The restaurant is clean, and I really appreciate the serve yourself soda counter. Try the potato burrito with shredded beef, its amazing!

Paid $ 10.68 for a 2 taco carnes asada plate. The meat tasted like rubber with absolutely no flavor. The«famous sause» was without spice and had an oily consistency. The customer service left much to be desired. Just horrible. If your going to charge that much for fast food Mexican food… better be worth it! Because its cheap to make.

The place is clean, that’s why the 2 stars. Im just disappointed that most times I order carne asada plate it has no carne asada at all. I feel like I’m ordering a plate of rice and beans. Or they should just put that on kids meal section.

We did not like their«famous garbage burrito». It had no flavor, the guacamole too did not seem to be made from real avocado. We love mexican food and have had some of the best mexican food at different parts of Southern California, Florida, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and in other places and can definitely say this was one of the worst thus far. Their salsa bar had no salsa but a couple of thin hot sauces which weren’t that flavorful either.

A+ for the garbage burrito which consists of everything you could ever ask for in a burrito! And it’s huge. But get it with a plate cuz it’s really messy. And they have a good salsa bar.

Prob one of the best place to eat when you are in the mall, but not the bestest compare to other Mexican food restaurants. I had the shredded beef burrito along with salsa sauces offered on the side. Burrito had a lot of rice, or at least it felt a lot. It made my lunch a little unpleasant because I couldn’t taste any meat :(on top of that their salsa sauces weren’t the best or something I would like to get again. I’m a salsa fan, but those were just a no no for me. But hey if you enjoy sour, then go for it. I prob will try tacos next time, maybe those will be better than my burrito that I had today.

You guys forgot my tacos, again. Frustrating that we drive to a meal location only to come home and the order is incorrect. I guess I should check moving forward. The place wasn’t busy, irritating. This continued trend will make me consider other options in the future.

The interior is super clean and pleasant with nice lighting from the outside. It had a decent salsa bar. I got their shredded beef«garbage burrito.» It contains meat, refried beans, rice, cheese, sour cream, guacamole sauce, lettuce and tomatoes. Once it came out, it was huge! It was the size of a «Chiptole» burrito. The first few bites were good, but then it got very monotonous. The overall textures was mushy and blandish. It needed more meat, more veggies and less beans. If you like Taco Bell’s burrito supreme, you’ll love this burrito. I added their spicy salsa, cilantro and jalapenos to add more flavors and freshness to it, but after eating half of the burrito, I was done. Don’t think I’ll be back again.

We always like coming here for out occasional burrito and then we walk the mall. It’s at a good location but it’s always busy. I always get the wet bean and cheese burrito. Haven’t tried much of the other items. But good and it’s close to my house! Plus is this give military/veterans discount.

Worst Mexican food ever yet my husband keeps taking me here. I’m beginning to think he is trying to kill me. I would say he is trying to make me lose a few pounds but I always get several items just to get even for having to eat here.

The two stars are for cleanliness wow it is super clean in here that’s always a good start because if they keep the front of the restaurant clean the back will always look the same guaranteed. The food here well that another thing the salsa bar has the typical Mexican salsas red green that’s all good but neither one was hot hot just plain but I guess that cool I am jot here for the salsa I am here for the food according to the reviews this place is really good. Got me the nachos and a cheese quesadilla where do I start oh yes the beans are either water down or they are from the cans or big bags they must buy from somewhere the tatse well like a 4 on a scale from 1 to 10 I got the chicken nachos The chicken was not the tipycal one that’s cut in like squares is more like the one that you cook in soup then you peel from the bone and that’s not what I was expecting but once again tatste less As a was finishing the plate a ran out of chips and could not finish the rest of the food the guac inside the nachos water down as well I don’t know what the reviews are about but let me tell you if you want plain Mexican food here right here is where you can get it And the soda coca cola well their corporation system must be failing because it taste like diet for reals no joke well that’s all folks«good cooking to you all»

The food here is incredibly delicious. Every time I go to this place I get a wet, shredded beef burrito with rice and beans in the inside as well outside. My favorite! They have fast service and always provide you with great excellent service. I am always pleased when I go here.

Miguel’s Jr has been a family favorite for a long time. The bean and cheese burritos are big, tasty and inexpensive. They are so loaded with beans and cheese they often fall apart. You can always ask for a double wrap on your burrito. My daughter and I shared the nachos. We ordered shredded beef with the sauce on the side. It came exactly as ordered. We had more toppings than chips tho. It was good sized and it was a good price but I would add a few more chips. One thing that is wish Miguel Jr had was«real» guacamole. Their guacamole is more of a sauce than real chunky guacamole. We love the salsa bar with the fresh cilantro, fresh onions, fresh lemons as well as marinated carrots. Their salsa is not a chunky pico de gallo type but more of a thin salsa. We add our own cilantro and onions to make it just the way we like ! Bottom like … We love Miguel Jr !

Located in Tyler mall on the backside by the food court entrance. Standard American Mexican food. Our favorites are A Bean & cheese burritos B Chile burrito(green chile rellano inside a bean & cheese with rice) very filling. C Garbage burrito(meat & everything) very filling D potatoe burrito E taquitos(nothing new but I prefer Albertos) If you go around lunch time. Spend time looking for parking. Suposely there’s take out parking but it’s always used.

Needed a place to eat before heading to the movies. My girl said lets go to Miguel’s Jr. I said sure I like Mexican food. Didn’t see any harm in going even though I am fond of the Potato Corner place right next to it. Man I was wrong… so wrong. The writings were on the wall. Like literally the writing explained about the couple who bought their first restaurant named it Miguel and bought a mini version of it and named it Miguel’s Jr. There is a lot of talk about fresh food, fresh ingredients, homestyle, blah, blah, blah. None of which was true on my visit. I love Nachos and figured it is a safe bet. Decided to add Taquitos from the(Other Good Stuff) section of the menu. Miguel’s Jr Nachos. A name sake item. Usually means that the item is good. Realized later that their Hot Sauce is the famous item on the menu. Both of which were lame. The nachos give you the choice of shredded beef of chicken.(I choice chicken) It has shredded cheese, sour cream, something that appears to be guacamole but isn’t, refried beans, española sauce(didn’t know until just now that was on it. I don’t know what the stuff is but didn’t help with the taste), oh and tomatoes. The fake guacamole mess was really bad. It would have been ok if they had at least stated on the menu that it was fake. A little disclaimer or something. Yuck! The sour cream was also thin and it is debatable if it is real too. The chicken was so close the bland and I started to use the chips to scoop the fake guacamole away from everything else but it just seeped into everything. I will never try them again. The Taquitos were very dry. And they must have known because they poured that fake guacamole crap on them too. Completely ruined them. Not that they needed the help. The famous hot sauce. I was excited to see the sauce bar.(this was before I sat down to eat) I know I can deal with hot sauce so I didn’t expect the stuff to be super hot, but I figured it would at least be hot. They need to change the name to infamous mild water downed sauce. The green sauce was a bit watered down too, but at least it had a little bit of flavor. Reading the reviews it seems that people say the burritos are good. I don’t think I am coming back here to mess around and have them put that fake guacamole anywhere around me. But if I do(and it is very unlikely) but I am drunk and forgot that I don’t like the place hopefully I remember the part about avoiding the fake guacamole and trying a burrito. Highly unlike though.
