Payless ShoeSource

Worst location ever. When did this become Mexico? 2 managers and an employee all speaking Spanish back n& forth and most of the signs in the store where in Spanish. And this whole gender politically correct crap is really beginning to piss me off. You can no longer go to the BOYS section and buy shoes for your kid. You have to browse through all the boys and girls mix together. So lame!

Haven’t been in one of these for years. Pretty pricey for a moderately priced shoe store. No sale.

I simply can’t stop him from growing. And he has big feet too. My toddler grandson, that is.
So his mom (my practical daughter) resorted to buying larger shoes so she could get more mileage out of them. Problem? They fell off his feet when he would walk.
So, since Grandma, Grandpa, and he were going on an Adventure together (to him, it is a trip to any place he hasn’t been before) and would expect him to walk, we had to look into some better shoes.
Unfortunately Payless had a limited choice of toddler shoes, but I found one pair that was a light weight (important!), soft soled (also important) slip-​on intended for playing in the water. Just the right size, and did not slip off, unless he pulled them off that is. Which he did. He loved them.
And then there was a second pair that were, tah dah, velcro strapped sandals with pictures of Elmo. Sesame Street’s little red Elmo, the light of my little guy’s life right now. So how could I refuse?
Both shoes were on sale, so my out of pocket expense was under $ 20. Not bad. And definitely made our day’s Adventure a lot more enjoyable.

I went to this store looking for shoes for a wedding I was going to be in, in 3 days. I was in desperate need to find a type of shoe and of course I couldn’t find it. An employee, that went by the name Desiree, saved my day. She called other local Payless stores to see if there were shoes that I was looking for and had no luck. I was about to give up and head elsewhere when she came to me with a cute shoe from the kids section in my size. I would have never know. Best employ of the week for her! Thank you Payless lady!

Went to another Payless location and they didn’t have the shoes I was looking for in my size. They called this location and they put the shoes on hold for me. When I showed up, the lady was extremely friendly and gave me an extra coupon from the ad. It’s hard to find customer service at all now a days… Impressed. Thank you!

I went in for 4^th of July and they were open! The lady helping us was so nice! They have a Buy One Get One ½ off (BOGO) deal until Monday, July 9^th but you don’t have to get both pairs on the same day. I didn’t feel like picking another shoe because I came in real quick to get a slip resistant shoe for work. The lady told me to just keep my receipt and I can pick out the 2^nd shoe as long as it’s before Monday. Cute affordable shoes, great service!

Horrible parking lot. Typical Payless store. Usually friendly staff and usually clean.
