We were originally going to dinner at Farrell’s next door. We were next to Red Lobster and could see there was a lot of people just hanging outside of Farrell’s so we knew what that meant. LONG wait, we called 40 min! No way! It was already 730 and my daughter was Hungry. Super glad we changed our mind And just went to Red Lobster instead. I had been To this location prior to last night and always Loved it. Just had been a couple years since I’m Never really in this specific area. Boy am I glad I did! The wait was very minimal. Our server was Madison and she was amazing! Great service! I saw a little bit of a mess on the floors but it looked like the rush had just finished so I didn’t mind. We were helped and served with our drinks&bread Right away. All of our food was amazing! We will definitely be back.

Just had an excellent dinner with exceptional service from Nick, Max, and Leandra. Recommend this restaurant and the lobster trio.

Dropped in for a pre-Oscars Sunday afternoon shrimp sampler of coconut, scampi and grilled garlic with a dinner salad, green beans and rice. Not too many highlights other than the reliable scampi and skewers, which were cooked perfectly. However, there were other issues here that are annoying, as they keep happening: 1. No welcome greeting by hostesses. 2. Coconut shrimp were overcooked and tough. 3. Green beans were way under cooked(almost raw) 4. Rice was filled with uncooked pieces making it nasty to eat. 5. Despite these issues, no manager was called or bothered to drop by and offer any type of compensation. WHY? Isn’t the bar staff trained to call a manager when a customer is not happy about their meal? 6. Then, when I went to pay my $ 30 bill, they did not want to accept my coupon, as I was told the $ 4 was for TWO entrees, and I only had one. The guy with the attitude behind the bar didn’t bother to read the coupon, as it clearly said on it that the discount was indeed $ 2 if dining alone… as I was. 7. No departure greeting(as usual). Guess I will start taking my $ 2,000 a year seafood budget over to Kings Fish House at nearby Dos Lagos, where they still have Halibut, fab artichoke appetizers, and wonderful sourdough rolls. My feeling is that Red Lobster has gotten complacent. If not, WHY do they have only a so-so 3-star Unilocal rating? Where is the management team calling or responding to ALL Unilocal reviews 3 stars or worse, as should always be done? Looks like they just don’t care about the customer experience. SO, if no one cares about me, why should I give them my hard earned $$$???

Customer service: Dakota was our server and he was very slow. We waited 25 mins for drinks and he only brought 2 baskets of bread! We had 6 people at our table! It took an hour to get our food at 330pm! I mean come on the restaurant was empty !!! Ive been coming to this restaurant for years and never had such crappy service !!! A lot has changed! Poorly

This place is my favorite when I don’t have to wait. It’s tuff because El Torito is right next door.

What can I say, we waited 1 and 25 minutes. This was on valentine’s day. I didn’t mind the wait I really wanted some delicious lobster. Our drinks were great and the waitress was awesome. Our food came out and it look great. I had the lobster special which came with fried shrimp and shrimp scampi and crab legs. Everything was delicious except my lobster was tough and my husband had the steak and lobster which his steak was great but had tough lobster as well. It’s not that often we splurge and eat at Red Lobster so I was a bit disappointed! Well probably stay home next year

First time here and this place is honestly just decent. I didn’t have too much of high expectations which is good but a bit more disappointed than I would’ve wanted to been. Service(5⁄5): our waitress, Sarah was fantastic! She did a really great job attending to us and made sure we got everything we need. Food(3⁄5): some of their food is pretty pricey but it makes sense for a seafood place. I got the crab linguini which was pretty good but it there was too much sauce for my liking. Good crab and flavor though. Their complimentary biscuits is pretty good as well. Ambience(3⁄5): too dim lighting which I’m not the biggest fan of. But this location is pretty large and has a good amount of seating. I love seafood but it wouldn’t be my go to place. Their biscuits and the waitress we had was fantastic but the food overall is just OK.

The waitress was great, the food was warm but not hot. The salad was very plain. I wish I could give them a better rating but they still need some work.

Wait staff seemed a bit inexperienced, nobody was at the host desk upon arrival and it took about five minutes for somebody to greet us… My fried scallops were extremely greasy, the fried part collapsed on some of them:(I bit into one and hot oil squirted on my hand and purse, leaving a little burn on my hand:(drinks were only refilled once despite them being drank quickly. Our waiter also made a less than professional comment, which was very annoying.

Great service! Thank you so much Leandra for the amazing service!!! Came here for dinner and dessert, she made sure our cups were full and our food was how we would like it! Even switched out a soup because it wasn’t what we thought it would be! Go and ask to be seated in leandras section!!!

Last night was my choice of dinner spots so I opted to go to Red Lobster in La Sierra in Riverside. I would normally rate our experience here with 4 or 5 stars. Last night was somewhat dissapointing. Mary & I both ordered The Steak & Lobster accompanied by a cup of clam chowder. In summary: the chowder, although it had a decent«flavor» was a little watery and lacking of clam bits.(I have enjoyed a better cup of chowder at Long John Silvers) The mashed potatoes were bland. The portions of steak were generous, however, they were dry & tough and the Lobster was chewy. So, either our steak knives were dull or the meats were over cooked. Needless to say, this was not an enjoyable dinner experience, specially when we paid $ 100.00 for this meal for 2(no liquor was ordered, only 1 iced tea &1 water). We have been here many times before and will be back again(we may not be ordering their steak & lobster). This was just 1 bad night compared to many good ones. This can happen in the best of restaurants. Hopefully next time it will rate 4 or 5 stars again.

Nice staff, not well prepared food. The food took a long time to come out about 30 minutes after ordering, to the their credit they had a large group in the neighboring room, so that was fine. I thought I was gonna be pleasantly surprised when our plates finally arrived but it looked better than it tasted. The lobster was over cooked and slightly chewy. We came here because we had a gift card but still not worth the trip. For a party of 4 adult entrees and 2 kids meals with one alcohol beverage we dished out 139.00 before tip. For that kind of money I would have much rather went to Taps or King fish house. Tip to self and Unilocalers re-gift the gift cards and spend your money at a quality restaurant instead.

Love the service from Luciano!!! I have never seen anyone review the menu with you like that, which is great for us because we come only certain occasions. Love the mussels, we love that broth. I recommend it!!! So stop by and see our favorite server Luciano. Grazie!

I don’t know why we don’t come here more often!
We came in because we walked out of the horrible service next door at El Torito and we will be coming back. We had an excellent waiter and the food was very good!

Celebrated our parent’s 50th wedding anniversary tonight. I called and spoke to Kayla and made our reservation for a party of 11 at 7pm and then called back and spoke to Heather to change it to 6:30. They were both very frienfly and accomodating on the phine. I arrived early to set balloons and some gold confetti at the table where we would be dining. Our server was Vivian and she was awesome. We always had our drinks full, fresh hot biscuits and a great attitude. We were all very pleased with our food. I love the shrimp scampi! Typically nothing special is done for anniversaries, but our server brought out a plate with ice cream and whipped cream and had written Happy 50th Anniversary on the plate. It was very thoughtful. My mom loved it. When exiting the restaurant, Bethany & Hillary held the door open for us all, which was very nice. Had a great experience!

«Wait. Are We Really at a Red Lobster?» Came to Red Lobster to ‘get rid’ of a gift card that was given to me last Christmas, before it made its way into a drawer full of bills, only to be forgotten. I thought I’d never willingly set foot in a Red Lobster again, after the countless, unsatisfying visits I’d had within the past decade. My fiancé was a bit perturbed, as we sat in the vinyl-seated waiting area for ten minutes. Two groups that walked in after us, who didn’t have reservations, somehow managed to get seated before we did. He planned on voicing his complaint to the restaurant hostess later, but had a change of heart, once we reached our table and Dakota began serving us. He turned the mood around instantly. Very nice and respectful young man. We were going to mention to Management that Dakota was deserving of a promotion, but later learned from the hostess that he recently received one already. Admittedly, I have always liked their Signature Biscuits® and Caesar Salad, which was my usual accompaniment of choice with my entrée. I just haven’t enjoyed many of the appetizers or entrees I had ordered for the past decade. Shrimp sizes became ‘shrimpier’, the quality of their lobster and beef went downhill, and everything started tasting more and more bland or too briny. For the first time in forever, our meals tonight were well-presented and tasted much better than expected. The menu had evolved. Here’s what we had, ranked 1 to 3, 1 being the best. #1 — Lobster Scampi Linguini for $ 23.49: Had chunks of Maine Lobster meat atop a bed of long, flat strips of pasta and bathed in white wine and garlic scampi sauce. It was served with two crescent slices of grilled artisan bread. #2 — Create Your Own Combination(with THREE) for $ 24.49: We chose a combo of Garlic-Grilled Sea Scallops, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, and Wood-Grilled Fresh Salmon with a side of Wild Rice Pilaf. Although I prefer a stronger garlic flavor, the seafood was perfectly grilled/cooked, bringing this dish ahead of dish #3. #3 — Crab-Topped Salmon for $ 19.99: Just that with a side of Steamed Broccoli and Wild Rice Pilaf. I thought it included Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, as it was pictured on the menu, but I guess I was supposed to order it that way. The crab topping was savory, nevertheless. I’m giving this Red Lobster 4 stars for THIS visit only and may update it, upon my next visit. My presumption is that this improvement may only be a temporary one. With all of the social media avenues available today in which reviewers can bash any business to a pulp, I’m sure these old restaurant chains, who had their Heyday in the late 80’s and 90’s, are doing anything in their power to stave off negative reviews and keep up with its fierce competition. We really did enjoy our food and great service overall. I will have to look through that drawer of bills again. Maybe I’ll find another Red Lobster gift card that’s in need of redemption.

They have great lunch specials, everything else is probably a bit too pricey. For $ 7.99, you can get a shrimp caesar salad with a cup of soup(extra $ 1 if you upgrade to lobster bisque). I think the other option is clam chowder and I wish I stuck with that because I didn’t really enjoy the lobster bisque, and there were probably 2 miniature pieces of lobster in it. When I say miniature, I mean like less than 1 cm in length and width, but what can you expect with for an extra $ 1. The salad was okay, nothing out of the ordinary and bread was meh. Plates were pretty dirty too and that just automatically turns me off. I might be back to try the lobster here since I’m a huge lobster fanatic. But I wouldn’t necessarily say this place should be on your list of places to try…
