Too expensive for the quality of food. You get nickeled and dimed for stuff. Just a side of chips that most restaurants provide complimentary, additional $ 0.99. I asked for grilled chicken instead of shredded chicken extra $ 1. I asked for ranchera carne asada instead of diesmillo carne asada, extra $ 3. My burrito ended up costing $ 10.29. I should have got 10 tacos instead. The family liked their Tuesday tacos. Staff was friendly.

My husband had to bring me here because he thought the street tacos were so good. I thought they were good too. Not the best I’ve had but not the worst either. He must of been really hungry. On the positive side, they are very clean and have great service. They are also right next to starbucks.

The carnitas street tacos were excellent. The meat was very moist and tender and tasty. In fact it tasted so good I had to ask him if he cooked in lard. But he said no that they cook in vegetable oil. It was far too tasty to be cooked in vegetable oil. I don’t know what the trick is but I really enjoyed it. I will be eating the carnitas tacos here again very soon.

So, sad. Been going here for awhile and their food used to be so good. Stopped by Friday night and picked up ground beef tacos to go. Got home and found mystery meat tacos. Just horrible, ended up throwing most of the food away.

Got sope and a taco. Sope was okay but it hardly had any meat; mostly beans. Beware, carne asada tastes like liver because it is low grade, cheap meat. I told the cashier/​server and he refused to do anything about it, only talked about next time I go… um, no, never coming again for overpriced cheap food!

Some friends just got off a cruise to Puerto Vallarta and believe it or not they wanted more Mexican food… but authentic tasty food.
Taco Villa was close by said Unilocal… and I looked through the reviews and pictures so we went and was not disappointed!
The food was very tasty and was washed down with a couple Modelos! Alma was working the counter and serving… she was helpful to everyone even when everyone was ok she made sure you had everything you needed… with a beautiful smile! When I am in the area I will be back!

Staff was very nice and food was made fast. Down side was their waters were terrible. Asada taco was pretty poor but the shredded beef tacos really made up for it! I’m going to try it again. I’m for sure gonna stay away from that water

Had the taco wednesday special, and lady was helpful and nice and the hot sauce bar is convenient. The tacos i got were not very good though carnitas were mostly fat and got grossed out by them. The asada is asada but were not great. This place is a hit or miss, ive had a burrito that was delicious but the past few times were complete misses. Depends i guess on the day you go or who cooks it.

This place was good before it changed names and owners. The food is bland and lacks something. The service is good, but was hot and stuffy inside the last 2 times I went. Workers are friendly. Authentic? Not in my opinion. The potato tacos are ok but bland. Just not my thing. I like El Corral much better.

Great friendly staff, Very persuasive yet fun. Almost convinced me to order everything lol. Delicious food. Authentic Mexican food. Decent price. Salsa bar (green sauce is bomb). Beer fridge. Taco Tuesdays. Happy Hour. How can you not enjoy this spot. Give it try yourself. Enjoyy

The food was great!!! Great service!!! Really like the wet burritos because of how big the portion is. Really enjoyed the environment and the fast service. The guy behind the counter was very attentive and sweet. Hard not to leave a tip. I look forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu

I’ve visited Taco Villa so much I practically had the entire menu. Their Baja tacos are always good as well as their chile verde and El California burrito. The hot sauce stand is great especially the green sauce. Good flavor there. Wash the food down with a cold beer or a nice Mexican Coca Cola bottle. Or how about with a Martinelli’s apple juice (my go to choice). The upside is the staff is really nice and they do get to know you the more you visit. Support local business.

We’ve used them several times for catering and we have never been disappointed. The catering is a bit pricey compared to other «taco guys» but it’s worth it. They bring everything including chips and salsa when catering so that’s great
My family and I are regulars at the restaurant. I love the chile relleno and the menudo. I’ve never tried anything there that I don’t like.

I like the food and the service. I would come here more often if they could do just two things: turn on the air conditioning and have a chips and salsa bar. The last time I went there it was so hot I had to leave. I have always been put off with the fact that chips are not available at the salsa bar since this seems to be the norm at other mexican restaurants.
