It was ok. Nothing crazy. Between choosing little ceaser or Pizza Hut near by I would suggest sticking between those if you want something simple like a regular pepperoni pizza. Pretty cheap here. Nice eating area.

We love it here. They are very friendly and pizza is wonderful. They are also so kind to give free pizza to sports teams for end of season parties. Parents pay their own way, but so worth it.

So, yea for some reason this place has gone downhill. I heard there were new owners? Hmm. Pizza just isn’t as good as it used to be and the hot wings… are some inedible wad of crap. I give them 2 stars for fast delivery and the guys who deliver the pizza are super friendly. I can’t in good conscious feed my family this crap. Last time we ordered I had to throw it away and go get some real food — lesson learned.

Came in with my three year old daughter, the guy who took our order was very friendly. Pizza was great. Place was clean and had some cool decorations in the dining room.

The pizza is consistently very good. This is our go to place for pizza, plus the grand kids like the games. My only reservation is they no longer serve the broasted chicken that the previous owners had… like to see the chicken make a come back.

So you agree to honor a free bread stick coupon through a local Charity program and than you come out with a new coupon and refuse to honor the ones WHICH are still good and haven’t expired? What the hell is wrong with you? Its bread sticks and people still have to order a pizza to get them? You would rather loose many customers over bread sticks? Really? I suggest you learn better English, take some courses in good business practices and customer relations. I am appalled that you even own a business, better rethink your business methods and if you are going to honor a coupon stick with it till the end. We wont ever go back here again. What a joke.

I was a regular customer of this place! After seeing all of the bad reviews I am wondering why we ever went! The service is a JOKE! The owner really does not get what it means to own a business in this country! Well off to the next one! Your loss!

Big disappointment! Their customer service is completely horrible and the owner cannot even speak English to assist you!!! I had a coupon that I purchased through a coupon book and they refused to honor it because they apparently released a newer coupon even though my coupon is still valid!!! The customer service sucks and the pizza is mediocre!!! Go elsewhere for pizza.

First things first, it does not take an hour to deliver a pizza down the street to my house. My cousin insisted we ordered from her«favorite» pizza place, bad idea. I actually made a Unilocal account just to write this review. We simply ordered 2 medium pizzas, one all cheese and one half ground beef/half pineapple. After waiting 1 hour I finally received my pizza. The delivery boy was super nice, but I would be to if I knew people waited an hour for me. I opened the pizza and saw pepperoni, no I didn’t order this… So, I called to let them know that my order was incorrect. I told the girl I just wanted a cheese pizza. She said they would remake my pizza in 7 minutes but it will go out with the next delivery, annoyed and only living 8 minutes away, I decided to go my damn self. I got there to a very rude manager, not apologizing or even saying hello, he came up to the worker asking her what the problem was. No problem at all sir. The girl handed me the pizza and I simply asked her if I would get the difference for the toppings, since I just ordered a cheese pizza instead. The manager asked where the other pizza was, and I said I forgot to bring it. Regardless, you made the mistake and shouldn’t worry about the other pizza, but should be worried about fixing the mistake you made. He then looked at my receipt real quick, and loudly said«$ 1.10 just give them $ 2» as if he was doing me a favor. So when I was almost home, I thought to myself how rude this man was, so I decided to give him a call. Being so I kind, I simply told the manager on the phone that the situation was handled very unprofessional. Quickly, he got loud and said«I’m very busy, I have no time for funny business»(mind you he had a good 10 kids topping pizza alone) LOL! I told him«you made me come to you for a mistake YOU made» before I could say anything else he quickly responded with«YOUOWEMEMONEY!» I then said«you’re unprofessional, have a nice day» and hung up. Now, just to let him know that I didn’t need his money or want his mistake of a pizza. I brought his shitty pepperoni pizza back and his TWOWHOLEDOLLARS and left them on his front counter. I then told him you’re unprofessional and your Unilocal reviews show it. Little Caesars is down the street guys :) P.s Unilocal makes you give a star. I didn’t give that star out of choice.

This place is by our home, we tried them once when we were treated badly by a local franchise pizza place that had a delivery guy show up late because he was across the street smoking weed. We watched him sit across the street for a long time then come to the door with cold pizza and missing part of the order. After he dropped his lighter and stood up looking at us intoxicated we realized needed a change. We have now ordered from The Pizza Place many times. They are not only great quality and taste, they are always on time and always so awesome and upbeat when they get here.

WE have lived in Orangecrest and been active in the community since 2006, my husband has managed teams within the local little league since we moved here and we have patronized The Pizza Place as our local eatery for many years both with sports teams and personally, as a matter of fact we order once a week, never to dine in-however we will no longer. Mind you this place has gone through numerous owners with the most recent being rude, dirty and disgraceful. This past Sat we had scheduled our team pizza party there and the Team Mom had not only booked well over a week in advance but called the same day to confirm, when we arrived there was no table for the team and when we asked we were told the reservation must not have been marked in the book. There were 3 teams there when we arrived, but OK no worries, we all found separate tables and tried to make it work. We ordered Pizza, appetizers, salads, soft drink, beer and wine. We were told they only had two single serving bottles left of wine and only one wine glass. When we asked about the wine glass we were told two separate stories, that they were dirty and that they had broken them all. Ok. No problem. We got our food, there was a hair in the ranch dressing in which we took up to the front. The Owner seemed agitated. The ice ran out for the soft drinks and when we asked if there was any more ice, we were told there was not. Odd. Its an eatery and it was a hot evening. But Ok. Several teams left eventually and we gathered our whole team and parents and sat together at a long table. There is a liquor store in the same parking lot, so my husband went across the parking lot to purchase a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal as many of the wives weren’t drinking beer. The Owner came over to our table and said we needed to leave because we had purchased our own wine, we were a little dumbfounded and asked why. I mean we had spent alot of money there on pizza, salads, appetizers, drinks and dealing with the horrible services, and were trying to look past the uncleanliness in order for the kids to enjoy the company of their team –it was too late to find another place– the owner persisted and then went on to accuse my husband of purchasing beer and pouring it into the pitcher. Wow really?! Let me show you the receipts of all we spent and on what you rude jerk. If this is what they do in your country let me assure you that’s not what we do here in ours. So the team and parents left, we weren’t going to tolerate being insulted by this pizza maker any longer. We took the party to a clean location which wasn’t out of ice, had wine and wine glasses — and better food-our house. I’m not sure why this guy came so unglued, he has minors serving alcohol daily and the workers there have uncontrollable facial hair and don’t bother to wear a hair net-no wonder there was a hair in the ranch dressing. They wipe their sweaty faces then continue making your pizza, just walk up and watch, you’ll see. I cant imagine what they do when you cant see them AND the liquor store is owned by his family members as well, so money was staying in the same family. Please do your selves a favor and don’t settle as we did just because they are at a convenient location. There are huge holes in the booth seats, the bathrooms filthy, its well worth the drive to go to Roundtable or Shakeys, hopefully someone soon will open a clean, family oriented, sit down Pizza Place that values their customers and appreciate the business because this guy doesn’t. Save your money; Save you health.

One of the workers actually told me the lasagne I was about to order was made a week ago. I walked out. That is disgusting!

My family comes here often for pizza pickup. Today was the first day I’ve ever had an issue but it’s enough of an inconvenience for me to not return. I picked up our large pepperoni pizza and brought it home to find out that it was burnt to a crisp(with black crust). I never thought I’d have to check the condition of my pizza before leaving, but I definitely learned my lesson today.

Big disappointment. I used to come to this pizza place at least once a week and ordered all my pizzas for parties from here years ago. They went through different owners and I stopped going. I decided to give them another try today. Bad idea. I was in the mood for a grinder but the only choices were meat ones, which I didn’t want. So I asked if I could get a veggie one(knowing they had all the ingredients, it would be super easy, and easy money for the owner). The owner refused. He said no off-menu orders. What the hell? How stupid is he. He just lost what could have been a regular customer. I’m never coming back there again even though it’s a mile from my house. I was the only person ordering so it’s not like it was super busy. I should have walked out but I put my annoyance aside and got spaghetti with marinera sauce. So bland and tasteless, hardly any sauce, over cooked pasta. The other employees are nice unlike the owner. The business lost what could have been a very regular customer. Btw — D’elias Grinders is across the street. Now I know better.

First time ordering here, didnt have much problem with the customer service as other people talked about. No this review is on the product. Ordered a pepperoni and wings and man I could not be more disappointed. The pizza is pretty bland and the pepperoni itself has to be the worst tasting I have ever had. I did not know pepperoni would even taste bad but seriously removing it from the pizza actually makes the pizza taste better. This wings are simply disgusting. Ordered«traditional» wings and they are those breaded bone in things. They had been soaking it whatever Tabasco and so the breading is all soggy and gross. Overall you can simply tell they just shell out food there and could care less about taste or quality. Tried em out because Antonious pizza doesn’t deliver, was a huge mistake. Even the kids under 5 hated it. FYI one hour wait on delivery, they quoted that and stuck to it. Seems too long for a place that likely isnt very popular. The delivery guy was cool, he gets a star all on his own.

The pizza here is delicious. I don’t know whay the deal os with the ownership change but right nowi it’s called the pizza place. Its gonna cost you a few bucks extra than your run of the mill pizza hut or dominos but its well worth it. Their sauces, toppings, and crust l are fresh and tasty. My favorites are the godfather, bbq chicken and buffalo chicken. The staff is friendly and overall, its just a great local pizza joint. A good pizza to feed two will cost you about 18 dollars. The reason I rate it at 4 stars and not 5 is because for me, the places that are better than this would be blazed or pielology. They also have a sit down area kind of like shakeys if you want to eat there.

The pizza is still great, and they still deliver to Gavlin hills. However when you come in for pick up, it is terribly disorganized. After I paid the girl at the counter said let me check on your order, then never came back. Other customers are complaining about long waits, and there are neglected customers st the counter. I heard one guy making pizza ask another girl to stop what she was doing to help the front, and she flat ignored him. Not the best experience. Hopefully this is just a bad day.

I really used to enjoy the pizza from this place, and continued to eat there even when they jacked up the price on the mini-pizza I used to get for $ 5 to $ 8. But today, I called to order 2 pizzas using a coupon I had and was told they would not honor the coupon because they are under new ownership. Keep in mind now, this isn’t some coupon I cut out of a magazine, I paid for these coupons, and my belief is that if you buy a business, you buy their debt, including coupons through the predetermined expiration date. I was asked if it was a coupon they apparently offer presently, and when I told them it wasn’t, they didn’t even offer to give me that deal, just pay us full price or nothing. So anyway, I went with nothing, and I won’t be back. If you want to get ripped off, feel free to go to this place, but they’ve priced themselves out of their quality range for my taste. So long, Pizza Place. As far as I’m concerned, you suck, and you’ll never see me again.
