Grace Clothing and Alterations

This is one of the best alternation place in the country. She is truly gifted.
She can do the hardest alternations that no other place would even consider taking.
She is not only amazingly talented, she is the sweetest person on earth. Every time I step in there, I learn something from May. She is truly a gem. Best alternation place on earth.

I was searching for a place that can alter my dress and came across Grace Clothing/​Alteration on Unilocal.I read Joan S’s positive review and decided to give it a try.
My dress that I have never worn had a bump on the zipper seam due to poor sewing work. Grace was able to redo the entire lining and it came back perfect! Thank you so much Grace! I can’t wait to actually have an occasion to wear the dress lol
The prices are extremely reasonable and she is so skilled at her craft. I chatted with her a little bit and found out that she never even took a sewing class! She’s been sewing since she was a child and has been doing this professionally for many years. Impressive! She also has experience working at a bridal gown shop so she can give you feedback on dresses and what would work best for your figure.
The store is charming and located on the small street behind CVS/​Bristol Farms on Silver Spur. I probably never would have found it without Unilocal or Joan S’s review. Thanks to both, I now have a place to alter my clothes :)

If you need alterations, this is the place.
May is an expert seamstress. I believe she can do just about anything. As a person who can’t sew at all, I am in awe.
She also knows fabric like few people I’ve ever seen. She diagnosed a weird mark on a jumpsuit I bought (it’s from an iron, must have happened when it was being prepared to hang on the store’s racks).
Wait…it gets even better.
May’s prices are so reasonable that today I told her she needs to charge much more!

May is so sweet & friendly she can light up your day.
And her shop (open every day except Sunday) is beautiful. There you’ll see a sampling of clothing she designed & made, just because she can. Extremely impressive. People, including me, have told her she should be a clothing designer.
But May says she’s happy doing what she’s doing now, fortunately for me.
I’m happy to visit her bright shop on its lovely street where parking is ample & free.

I had an emergency situation for mending a dress (same day) and May handled it immediately. She was pleasant, cordial, and such a professional. She works hard and can tell that she likes what she does. The work was precise! Precision, good customer service and passion for the job is hard to find! I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.
