The food is absolutely amazing — with the freshest ingredients. I had the opportunity to meet Giorgio himself — he was right on with all kinds of food suggestions, I will be back. Highly recommend!

As an out of towner I truly enjoy going to giorgio’s whenever I’m in town. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu and can say that it is all truly delicious. Some favorites include the tortellini, lasagna, arugula prosciutto pizza, Caesar salad, and beef ravioli among many others! The ambience is relaxing and the staff is always very friendly. I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant!

The food was so bland it tasted like cafeteria food from the hospital! I think I would rather go to Macaroni Grill!

This is a cute little neighborhood restaurant which serves amazing food. They have a nice indoor seating area with can be loud or quiet depending on the diners, as well as an outdoor seating area due to less people sitting outside. All the waiters seem friendly, and are quick to bring you bread and drinks. I had the Penne Arrabiata for the second time. It is described as «penne pasta tossed in spicy tomato sauce», and is just that. The portions are extremely generous, however I usually have no trouble finishing this pasta. No complaints about my meal. The one thing that I would change about this restaurant is the noise level. When there are a lot of customers, the restaurant can get very noisy, and this makes conversation hard. My sister and I had to lean in to speak, but conversation was still extremely strained. Overall, a very cute restaurant with good food– will definitely be returning.

I love eating here. The food is delicious. And the ambiance and service is great! They have the best outside patio to sit in. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Its a restaurant I bring my friends and out of town guest too.

Never disappointed when I visit Giorgios. My go to is the gnocchi but I change it up and ask for arribiata sauce. Yum. Also, the Lasagna is mighty tasty!

We love this place. We come here probably twice a month. Last Saturday night my wife and I each had the mushroom ravioli and our daughter had the Michelangelo fettucini . My wife and I loved the ravioli. It’s out«go to@ dish. Our daughter enjoyed her fettucini as well but said it was delicious but heavy. We will continue to come back.

GIORGIO’S Keep it our little secret… No other boutique culinary experience quite as perfect as dining at Giorgio’s. Seafood, Veal, Crafted Pastas. Salads, service bookmark and don’t let the word get out, city hall won’t let them put tables in the street. although they are more than qualified. shhhhhh

The hostess needs to go. She doesn’t know anything about customer service. We were basically asked to leave because they were«fully booked». There was no option of waiting whatsoever. We’ve been here once before and the food was good, which is what the one star is for.

Giorgio’s was an awesome experience for Friday night dinner. I popped in here after attempting to dine at another nearby restaurant since it had a little shorter wait time. One of the reasons I decided to switch up was because of the friendliness of the lady out front. She acknowledged me, smiled and asked if I’d like to join them for dinner. Sounds like a basic salutation for a restaurant but these days not everyone is so friendly. We had a great meal served by Vince. He’s a great server with a personality to match — very genuine, honest and explained the dishes well. He made me feel like family and that is always a nice touch for a good Italian restaurant. I ate sand dabs and a house salad. I was very impressed with the quality of the salad — fresh, no yellow ends on the lettuce, tossed and seasoned to perfection. The sand dabs were just off the hook. I ate every last crumb provided. I recommend a glass(or two) of the Stella Pinot Grigio to compliment this dish. I’m so happy that I found this gem. The menu is very thorough with lots of seafood. Hopefully one day I’ll visit and they’ll have an octopus special… lots of seafood to please though! Give this place a chance — from what I heard they’ve been around since the ‘70s but a fire put them out for a while. I’m glad the owners didn’t give up because now we have a better than decent italian restaurant in town!

Really nice restaurant… intimate, with good attention from waitstaff and very good quality food. Went with a party of four on Friday night… started with the mozzarella marinara appetizer, a single rectangular block of mozz, about ¾″ thick, eggwashed and breadcrumbed, deep fried, requested sauce on the side. Tasty, nice sauce, would order again. I had the Chicken Giorgio, a breast with leg attached, stuffed with spinach, mozzarella and prosciutto… very, very tasty… sauced with a pink vodka sauce, couple roasted potatoes and a medley of green beans, asparagus, carrots and sweet peppers… would order again, any time. The only letdown for me was that the tiramisu dessert was sort of tasteless… creamy, but not really… tiramisu can be tough to get right. The kitchen did their job well, and the waitstaff did as well… they were accommodating, genuinely interested in our thoughts about the meal, and we left a happy, and well fed family. Maybe not worth a special trip from Los Angeles, but if you find yourself in theRPV/Rollando Estates region, and are looking for a nice restaurant that the locals love, you would be hard pressed to find anything better in the area.

How have I not reviewed Giorgio’s yet?! If you think Olive Garden or Buca Di Beppo is fabulous fine Italian Dining, just stop now. Don’t read the rest of this review and go about your business as you were. Maybe even unfriend me if you’re reading this review as a result of being a Unilocal friend. HOWEVER, if you have a deep, sincere love of delicious, authentic, hoemade Italian food, you have come to the right place. Giorgio’s is run by, who else, but Giorgio! The place is a great family run establishment and the food is to die for. Everytime I come here, I leave more impressed than I was before. Dishes — Eggplant Parmigiana — 5⁄5 This is hands down, bar none the BEST eggplant parm I have ever had. I didn’t even know eggplant parm was supposed to taste this good! I tried it on a recommendation from a person whose Italian born mother doesn’t compare(supposedly). The flavor is amazing. The eggplant is friend to perfection(not overbreaded or overdone) The sauce is delicious, and just the right amount of cheese. Fettuccine Michaelangelo– 4.5÷5 Creamy, mushroomy, carmelized onion, prosciutto chicken heaven. I understand why this is the first dish Giorgio recommends to any new customer. SOGOOD Chicken Piccata — 4⁄5 Best Chicken Piccata I’ve ever had(Sorry Mama D’s). Just the right balance of lemony caper goodness(subjective, I know-and I live lemon and capers) Shrimp Salad — 5⁄5 The shrimp are grilled to perfection and the salad is great. The dressing is the best! Italian Wedding Soup(I forgot the real name) — 5⁄5 I hate all soup, except Ramen. But WHOA. I would come here JUST for this soup. So, I realize this place is a bit of a drive if you’re not up the hill, but it’s well worth it, I promise. Also, this place is small, so make reservations.

My wife and I went here for dinner last Satuday with high expectations. The space occupied by the restaurant is very nice and we were fond of the restaurant that used to be there. We were disappointed. The food was okay. The staff was less friendly than other places we like. I believe there are better options in the area, and regret that this review is not more positive than it turned out to be.

Had dinner on a Wednesday night and it was a fairly quiet environment. Service was good but our waiter wasn’t that friendly. I had the chicken Giorgio and my friend had the pouched salmon. Our food was good the salmon was cooked to perfection. I didn’t like the fact that the skin was left on the chicken.

Giorgio’s is the best on the hill, hands down. This is a family owned restaurant and the head chef, Carlos, is the father. Carlos was born and raised in Italy, and he is the real deal, creating authentic and traditional Italian dishes. The bread comes warm and lightly toasted with fresh cold tomato bruschetta to top on your warm bread. I could eat that alone for a meal! As for appetizers, ask for the seafood platter to share with a couple people, it’s a heaping platter filled with mussels in broth, baked clams topped with crisp squares of bacon, crab with fresh lemon, calamari, grilled shrimp, and anything else you want any way you want it. All of the is presented over crisp, fresh endive, mesclun, arugula, and bitter greens. Any of the pastas are delicious, I recommend the Michaelangelo which is creamy and just salty enough. For lunch, I recommend the Club Salad, it’s the salad I keep coming back for. I even get it for dinner(just ask for it since it’s normally on the lunch menu). Now the gnocchi bolognese: Arguably the best gnocchi/pasta you will ever eat with a soft dusting of parmesan cheese. Soft, chewy, and pillowy, the gnocchi here is amazing sitting in a lovely flavorful bolognese that is reminiscent of the best Italian comfort food you can eat: unpretentious yet just elegant enough to pass as something made in a nice restaurant rather than in a bubbling pot that’s been sitting on the stove in someone’s home kitchen all day. Be warned though, it’s super filling! Even my glutton of a sister(who LOVES this) can’t finish without taking home leftovers. My father likes the veal parmesan here, which is really good(you can’t go wrong). The other meat or fish dishes are good but are often salted with a heavy hand. They are hearty and flavorful, but if you like lighter flavors I would recommend something else like a pasta. For instance, my boyfriend likes the salty and lemony flavor profile and loves the chicken alla vodka here, stuffed with spinach and prosciutto and covered in a delicate yet rich vodka sauce. I recommend you give giorgio’s a try if you haven’t already, there’s definitely love in the cooking and a great, welcoming atmosphere.

I love Giorgio’s! I’ve been coming here since I was a youngster when they were at their older location. I’m so glad to see them back on the brick walk on the hill. The wait staff is great and attentive that always treat you like family. The food is great too! Start off with the spinach soup or ham and melon. The calamari is also delicious and super fresh! For entrees always make sure to ask for the daily specials. The salmon is great! All the fish is prepared just right, it’s never dry. The pasta is yummy! Try the vodka penne or traditional spaghetti and meatballs. If you still have room for dessert, make sure to try the tiramisu or Italian ice. The new space is a little smaller and cozy than the old place, so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. There is a small outdoor patio seating area too. It’s a quaint atmosphere with rich food and can be enjoyed with good company.

Giorgio’s is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay Area. This is real cooking right here. Family run and owned, Giorgio’s is a PV institution. The menu has changed since the change of location, but the food is as great as ever. Parking on the street of Deep Valley, customers walk past the quaint, outdoor patio seating and through the door. Greeted by the chef’s wife, diners are quickly escorted to their seats– that is, if it is the off night when it isn’t packed. Immediately, water and menus are brought out, quickly followed by the most amazing bruschetta with bread: perfect balance of sweet tomato to basil and garlic. It’s a miracle if you don’t want to keep snacking the free bread. The two sons are the two waiters in the restaurant. Sitting at your seat, you are amazed by each special described by the waiter from memory. Some of my favorite specials are the lobster and the truffle pasta. My absolute favorite appetizer is the mozzarella marinara. I don’t think it has any nutritional value, but seriously– so. good. The tomato sauce is ah-mazing. Who doesn’t love fried cheese smothered in the best marinara? When we make reservations here we always ask them to prepare a seafood platter. This is always a favorite. Fresh abalone, shrimp, octopus, mussels, clams, etc. all prepared in different styles but all delicious with the special care and attention of the chef. If you like chicken, try the chicken Parmesan– more marinara– or the chicken piccata. If you like pasta, try the penne ariabatta or ravioli sampler. I also love the cioppino because of the flavors of course but also the tenderness of all the seafood. Giorgio’s knows what it’s doing when it comes to food. Simple and complex flavors are always on point. Definitely try this one out.

I had dinner here while visiting family, and while I enjoyed the meal, there was nothing about it that I thought extraordinary. The restaurant itself is small and crowded. We were glad that we had reservations and we got seated immediately. The acoustics in the restaurant magnified the sound, so it was very loud. The service was ok, maybe a little in the slow side. The bread we got while waiting for he meal seemed kind of like toasted sourdough or French bread and came with some kind of tomato garnish, which was ok, but a little different from the olive oil you might expect in an Italian restaurant. The house salad you can order with an entrée was on the small side, and they have only one type of dressing, a vinaigrette. The dish I ordered, Chicken Marco Polo, was huge and big enough to satisfy a hearty diner. The sauce it came with was fairly tasty, but it really had too much salt in it. The vegetables it came with were way overcooked for my tastes. We made the mistake of just requesting glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon without specifying the label. I was a little surprised when getting the bill that they filled our glasses with the highest price wine instead of the lowest price. It seems the server should ask instead of making assumptions. Usually when one doesn’t specify the label, I would think the assumption is that you want the cheaper house wine.
