Waffle House

Poor service me and my family where sitting there waiting for thirty minutes waiting for someone to take our order. We then had to decided to leave and go to McDonald.

Great and friendly service. Breakfast was excellent and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a bowl of grits just made my long drive that much easier.

I heard rave reviews about this place!!! Don’t believe everything you hear. I was seated at the counter 10 – 15 minutes before I raised by hand to be acknowledged. Finally after 3 additional minutes, I get serve. The breakfast was good, but the service and cleanliness of restaurant was awful. There was a fly that is a problem for me. I was going to leave & just thought I was being a little too critical. I have worked in the food industry & from new York standards, this place right here would have several violations if not shut down. A customer gor sick out restaurant, the server gave the young lady a water hose to clean up vomit. It wouldn’t been me, I don’t work for waffle house, therefore I don’t clean waffle house. I will never visit this waffle house again. Spoke to family members & they agreed the service is horrible & it seems to be that new ppl are now working there.
Management needs to look into this.

Great place for a quick breakfast better than iHop which I give a 2 Star rating. Loving the southern hospitality. Y’all want anything else to eat?

We all know when you walk into a Waffle House it’s not going to be gourmet. It is what it is. Like a dive bar but no booze. Went tonight on Christmas midway through a long road trip home. We weren’t greeted when we walked in but our server was super nice and made up for that. Coffee and food came quick. Grilled biscuits and gravy hit the spot. I could only finish three out of four biscuits. Yummy. Thanks for being open. I know that must suck. Hope my tip helped spread some good karma and buy you a little something.

One of the many Waffle Houses I went to this summer during my band’s tour. You know what to expect at a Waffle House. Great diner food, big breakfasts, low prices, and great service and smiles from all the staff. They’re all open 24 hours as well, which is great for road tripping. The pecan waffle is where it’s at! They even make a decent burger — and at $ 1 a burger, you can do so much worse.

Incredibly dirty. Our feet actually stuck to the floor! Dead flies in the window sills etc.
If you go there look up at the ceiling tiles if you dare, you won’t return i will guarantee it.

A good morning upon entering is unheard of to a New Yorker like myself. The breakfast is good & I love those grits. I make it a point to stop at the waffle house when in the south.

There is always a certain euphoria I get as a northerner, when I start seeing Waffle houses. It’s like a symbol that I’m starting to get pretty far from home, also I can never seem to resist the imaginary pull it has on my stomach. I have been to better ones of these in my life, but this place filled the tummy properly on the long road trip from PA to Charleston. Glad I got to stop in a get a waffle.
