Logan’s Roadhouse

I have eaten at Logan’s all over. This was a great disappointment from the start. Server had to be new and was slow and not very knowledgeable. Could not understand her for the large tongue ring. First steak I have ever gotten there with no seasoning. My wife had pork chop and they put way too much seasoning. I usually seek out Logan’s but I believe Texas Roadhouse and longhorns are my preferred stops now. This one in Roanoke Rapids is a waste of your time.

Really good atmosphere, had the football game playing thats all that mattered at the time. Great service from the gentleman that took our orders. The steaks are made to ur liking and its was delicious, the right temperate and southern seasoning. Great place to come with family or friends.

Awesome burgers and good. One of our new favorite spots. Staff is awesome and friendly. Makes the experience much more enjoyable

Traveling through for business and had lunch here. The food was good, and the service was prompt. Love that you have a bucket of peanuts I front of you and that they offer you hot buttered bread. Would defiantly go back again.

Traveling for business and options are limited in Roanoke Rapids, NC. I gave it four stars because it was the best steakhouse in Roanoke Rapids. Steak was decent, came out very fast. It was packed on a Thursday night most likely because it was the best place in town.

Not bad got in, got lunch, got back on the road I had a steak cook just like i like and was reasonably priced. little country place not bad at all!

I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the food or service. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I usually have fish or chicken and a salad when I eat out and I like what I’ve had here. My Dad likes me to take him here and he raves about their fillet and ribs.

Little skinny nasty blonde bartender ruined the meal before it began. Looked at me from 10 feet away with a why are you bothering me look. I almost had to yell drink order, because her lazy ass wouldn’t move within range. Of course she messed up what was a two drink order and combined vodka, cranberry, and olives into a single drink! Really? Cranberry and olives? She then insisted that was what I ordered.
Avoid this place. It is run by kids that couldn’t care less about customer service. We walked out and went to Applebee’s across the parking lot. Hostess saw us approaching and opened the door and said welcome to Applebee’s. Congratulations to management on a well trained staff. Skip the other place. Everything about it is nasty.

The steak, salad and some of the sides are good however the bread seemed stale and the grilled shrimp were undercooked the first time. They grilled a new batch and they are fine. The service is good and like Texas Roadhouse, which I prefer, you get plenty of peanuts.

Stopped on our way to Florida. Had excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Food portions are large and good quality and worth the price.

Great meal. Tried to use the discount coupon from Unilocal and the waitress said they had no way to scan the code from the app. Called the mgr over and he took the discount off the bill after a little haggling, He said he needed a paper coupon to get reimbursed from the corporation. They need to do something about that. Don’t want to see an owner get cheated.

When you eat at a chain you expect a benchmark level of quality, but not a raving review. This restaurant had really sassy wait staff, food was so-​so and waitress forgot a couple of our items. Would not come back here.

I had Great service! People are very nice! But the meal was not good.
I made a quick stop here on a recent road trip. Love my food in NY so it’s hard to top that.
I ordered the ½ ribs with salad and rice pilaf.
The rice was bland with zero flavor and very dry. As if it was cooked days ago. Not good.
It even was crunchy when I bit into it.
Salad was ok, Italian dressing was not good.
Ribs had a good BBQ taste but the inside was bland and looked boiled. As if they boil the meat and then flame cook it only for the exterior appearance.
Beer specials were great $ 1.65 for small.
Two men tried to buy me a beer but I denied the offer because they looked creepy!
Basically hospital food with great BBQ sauce.

worst service ever! the food had to be sent back twice because the order was incorrect and they finally got the order correct, but it was not properly cooked, whereas it was terrible in other words. I may never go back again to the one in Roanoke Rapids, NC. the manager did not even do anything when I mentioned how rude the waitress had been to my friend and I. they only said «oh, okay. i’ll get right on it» and then just stood there at the door and never said another word to me. that was the first and last time. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s no surprise to many who have read my other reviews, I am not a fan of chains but often with work, I go where the client wants, so for this visit, it was for take-​out from Logan’s.
I am clearly rating the take-​out experience and not the waitstaff/​seating service but if you are in sales at all, or any position that requires you to bring lunch to an office, you will appreciate the ease of service that Logan’s allowed me this week.
I placed the order by phone to a staff member who actually answered the phone on the second ring. She even sounded friendly– imagine that! She took my order, I told her when I needed to pick it up and it was ready when I arrived!!! They have a door especially for take-​put and the girl working take-​outs was super friendly and had everything I needed, including plastic dining utencils, itemized receipt, and it all bagged so I could easily carry it to the car. She even offered to help me with it.
GREAT service for a take-​out order. I would even return for a in-​house meal if the service is like that for seating. Everyone loved their food. Staff ordered everything from steak to fish to salads. I had the Kickin’s Logan’s chicken salad and it was yum-​o!

The best steak in town…

First time I ate here. Waitress was not very friendly but the food was good.
