Ahhhhh – love the pies here. Stopped in after seeing Star Wars next door at the Grandin and we were not disappointed! I ordered the small suprema and co-pilot ordered a custom Stromboli: mushrooms, fresh basil, and green & black olives. The crust on both were light and flavorful. We both agreed the sauce was perfect: not sweet at all(we are not of the sweet red sauce team!!!). An all-around large selection of any pie imaginable. Draft beer selection was a bit weak, especially for the amazing regional and local breweries. Wine available, too. Decent service – the place was mobbed with big parties of kids about 20 mins after we sat down. Another good Unilocal find!

Gas station pizza for a restaurant price. I don’t mind paying for good pizza but it was same oven as gas stations. The crust was dry and tasted like cardboard

Had their Calzone pizza the other day, loved it so much that I went back for lunch the next day. A lot of food for decent price. Called in and ordered it and the pizza was ready by the time I got there. Easy to order and good prices.

Love this place. Pizza is tasty and prices are fair. Great family restaurant. Customer service is great, even when they are busy. The location is quaint and is perfect for dinner before a movie at the theatre a few doors down.

Salad bar is my favorite bc they offer a good variety of veggies, seeds, etc. fresh and kept clean and stocked. The pizza is great. My fav sandwich is the turkey with the honey mustard its wonderful and they toast the bread just enough so the slight crunch adds the perfect texture.

Yea get 1 star for ignoring me in the restaurant for 10 min. Only three tables at the restaurant… No excuse for that. I left as I saw employees just walk past me. I don’t get it, as a server you better hustle your tables to make your tips. No tip or business from me. Sorry that was the first time I came in and the last time. And I will let everyone I know not to go there.

We loved the atmosphere and service at Grace’s — informal and cheery. The garlic bread was very savory(and not too garlicky) and our pizzas were really delicious. The chicken on my pizza was incredibly tender and flavorful(not the usual topping chicken you typically get). My husband was especially excited about their Happy Combo and lunch specials. We’ll definitely be back soon!

I honestly can’t think of a better pizza place in the area. I’ve been a dozen times and I’ve never had a bad experience at Grace’s. The toppings on their pizzas must be specially grown from a magical pizza farm because they are ridiculously good. It’s also in a really cool little neighborhood and seems to be kid-friendly. I try to come here at least once when I’m back in town and I’d recommend this place to anyone.

It’s a tradition for our family to go to Grace when we’re visiting Roanoke! Service was friendly, though I’m learning it’s a little slower here than in San Antonio, where I’m visiting from. Dining room is small, and I’m sure if they expanded the location would do well. Bruschetta was delicious, not what you’d typically imagine, with tomatoes on cheesy bread. Pizza was good, greasy, but good! Pepperoni large special is $ 17.99 with additional toppings for somewhere around $ 2. Overall very satisfying for our traditional family dinner! Rating system: 5 stars = I’ll drive across town specifically for this, and rave to all my friends about it! 4 stars = Would recommend visiting. 3 stars = Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars = You might be able to drag me here. 1 star = I will not be returning.

This place is never a let down, I am always happy with the service and the food. The pizza is great, always fresh ingredients. I got the Great Italia sub on my last visit, I love it, the bread is always fresh, and the sub is just right, I will continue to support local businesses like this.

Delicious, fresh and affordable pizza and subs in a no-frills setting with great hours. Gets pretty packed on the weekends. One of my favorite pizza places in town.

I ordered the Meatball Sandwich. Not good at all! It was so dry that I couldn’t even taste the marina sauce in the sandwich. The bread wasn’t even fresh as advertised. Also, the meatballs were sliced which, technically, made them non-meatballs. I knew I should’ve just gone to Subway! If they can’t even make a decent meatball sandwich, how can they make decent pizza? 2STARS!!!

I came here on a weeknight around dinner time with my mother. MISTAKE! It was really busy, and there were a lot of families there with their very young and ill-behaved children. If this is a place where you wanna drop by for a bite to eat and have a beer with friends, great. Or if you are a family with youngins who enjoy the taste of paste, order them the alfredo! The pizzas here are average, but everything else is pretty bland and uninspired. Carry out is fine, but dining in is headache inducing.

I’ve only ever gotten take out from here, I don’t think I’ve ever been dissatisfied. Very delicious pizza and a great price. One of very few places in Roanoke to get pizza that isn’t from a chain or from your freezer.

We went to Grace’s for lunch. Ordered the bruschetta and the eggplant parmigiana pizza. We were expecting fresh bread, tomato, and cheese for the bruschetta but these ones were actually toasted. The tomatoes were small slices. It was heavy and salty. The pizza toppings were great. A little bit bigger pieces of eggplant would’ve been nice. The pizza overall was salty, too.

Being familiar with the pizza from their other location on Brambleton, I was confident that I would enjoy the food. I hear that this place had beer, but I had my doubts about selection. Food: Started w/appy of cheese breadsticks. Fair enough. I remember reading somewhere that they had a pizza/pitcher combo… so we inquired and were rewarded w/wonderful news. Large specialty pizza and a pitcher for 21.00!!! Got ½ 4 cheese, ½ buffalo chicken. Cheese was good, but buffalo chix was amazing! Beer: Did my usual«research» while waiting for a table. To my pleasant surprise, they had some nice beers: Loose cannon, sam winter, stella(I think) and then some ok options: Yuengling, macro wheat ale(a la blue moon/shock top), then the stuff you can easily see thru. First pitcher 4.00 w/pizza purchase, next pitcher 8 or 9 depending on the beer!!! Holy cheap beer batman!!! Service/atmosphere: It was a busy friday night and one of the first cold nights in Roanoke for the year. Lots of tables in a small space. Let’s just say you know when the door opened! Service was good, would be great if you knew what you wanted as soon as you sit down. We had to apply the brakes in the beginning. If you want the beer/pizza combo, this must be done at the same time so do your homework! Verdict: I have been longing for a place w/good pizza and beer options. This is as good as it gets for that in Roanoke. Grab a great dinner before going to The Grandin for a movie!

Great place, always worth a stop when you’re in the area. Pizza, calzone, and pasta is good. I usually go with the calzone. Great draft beer selection!

Came here for a date yesterday, and had a great experience! We got the four cheese pizza and the garlic bread, which you shouldn’t skip. The service was terrific and the weather was perfect for their outdoor seating. My only complaint is that their menu is a little confusing. I ordered a specialty pizza thinking that it came with a pitcher of beer, but then found out that that I was also charged for the pitcher. But that was not a big deal.

OMG yesterday was so bad. A few coworkers and I went there for lunch. We ordered ahead so that our pizza would be ready when we got there because we had limited time. When we arrived there was a line of people waiting to be seated but at least three empty tables which had not been bussed yet. We all stood there for literally ten minutes staring at the empty tables trying to get the attention of a waiter(during that time some people actually left). We ended up clearing and wiping off a table because we couldn’t wait any longer. Had we not already ordered over the phone we probably would have left too. Even after that we still sat there for some time before someone came over and took our drink order. The pizza arrived cold. Man they had a bad day. Understaffed in a bad way.
