I have to say this store now keeps in stock every thing we look to purchase. The owner is always kind.

This place rocks. And I do means rocks. Apparently, this store is a generous, positive energy in style and delivery in which every weekend they have demonstrations where they have this lovely young lady handing out samples of their very top notch quality in liquor and price. I’ve been in this store more than five occasions and find myself going in with my sister or brother when they’re visiting Roanoke and I have to tell you, never have I seen a team of employees of this kind. They are all so nice, helpful, with a array of so much in selection that is impressive in its modest sized store. Another interesting fact to share is the young lady who is always in great spirit .LOL. Seriously. She’s an amazing talent lady with piercing eyes and a sense of style that’s pleasing to the eye and so helpful to share information, each week as I have gained so much in knowledge the same young lady handing out samples is a delight and so knowledgable and with an ease she encounters customers as I’ve been approached and greeted by name. I believe it’s a family operated business where they truly respect each other and everyone entering store. I’ve been to tastings in so many other stores that the person handing out samples was either clueless, unapproachable or displeased among shoppers like myself. They just hand over the cup and without smiling move on to the next person they want to sale to. But this store, Liquor Stop is one that you have to stop by especially on the weekends. They help you to your car, carrying all your items and know their stuff to really make you feel right at home like you are one of the family. I mean they greet you by name for goodness sake. I love this liquor store and the all that comes in this tiny package of all goodness and best in set prices. Keep up the great work guys.

Terrible beer selection. I cannot believe they are even allowed to call themselves a liquor store. Save your time and go next-door to Albertsons.

This is the third area liquor store that I’ve visited and I still haven’t found a good one. That said, this is probably the store that I’ll come back to, just for the prices. On the items that I checked, Liquor Stop had lower prices than the other two – noticeably lower. Since Texas grocery stores sell wine and beer, the independent liquor stores focus on spirits. That’s the case here. Liquor Stop is very well stocked with liquor and cordials but it doesn’t even have a walk-in cooler, so the cold beer selection isn’t great. Their wine selection though, isn’t bad for a store this size. During my visit, one employee was sitting down eating and the other had his back turned to the store talking to her. I actually startled him when I set my purchases on the counter. Customers are the reason you have jobs, folks! Would it kill you to say hello when they walk through the door and thank you as they leave?

They have a good selection of alcohol beverages. Not so much when it comes to import beers.

I was sent on a mission, a mission to find«Voodoo Tiki Desert Rose Tequila» for a «Cherry Blossom Margarita» my wife wants to make for a Lunar New Year Party. What a great excuse to visit one more liquor store near Keller. Well sadly the Liquor Stop did not have it, nor were they familiar with it, nor was it in the computer. So while I did leave empty handed I got to see another liquor store near Keller. Not the closest to me, nor the biggest, in fact probably the smallest, but they did seem to have good liquor prices. Maybe even a tad better than its nearest competitors. Beer selection was very limited, and bit on the high side, but if you are not looking for anything too special, Liquor Stop should get the job done. PS. This location has been open about 5 months.
