Service and drinks were good, but food was very disappointing. For the price food was very cheap; you could have gotten the same thing at a Ruby Tuesday.

For our 30th anniversary, we made reservations for 6:30pm. Since my sons were in town, we all wanted to celebrate together. Of course they treated their parents to a wonderful evening. We were seated right away. There were about 2 – 3 large parties but it didn’t impede service. Our waitress brought us a plate of warm bread with butter. Although it was good, it was a little challenging to cut. But we did asked for a second helping. My sons ordered the Certified Angus Beef® 8oz filet mignon with roasted shallot and gruyère potato cake, sautéed asparagus and sauce Béarnaise. My youngest son traded the asparagus for a bed of arugula. They both said the steak was excellent — one of the best they have tasted in Roanoke. I ordered the a*Grilled Salmon over fire roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes and Chicago butter sauce, and it was delicious to say the least! My husband ordered the Cavatappi in vodka tomato sauce with sweet Italian sausage. He usually doesn’t eat his entire meal, but he said it was the right portion and it was soooo good, well seasoned and exceptionally tasty! We ordered a number of cocktails but the mojito stole the show! We had a great dinner with a wonderful waitress with great food! I would definitely return with friends!

While the Unilocal reviews appeared mixed, this was our top dining experience over a long weekend in Roanoke. Creative plating, quantity with quality, excellent wine list, and attentive service. The dining room is contemporary in style and lighting, and good table arrangement. The three of started with a charcuterie plate, amazingly well done, slices of smoked duck with chorizo, two cheeses, and centered with a homemade pimento cheese; it came with three pickled condiments the chef made himself, a nice touch and very good. Along with this we split salads(thank you kitchen for splitting) and had the appetizer special, oxtail ravioli; sublime. Entrees: I had the duck two ways, the ladies both had the ahi tuna with a cajun-esque risotto that had crawfish and andouille sausage. All was outstanding, and a two different crème brûlée for desert. The entire experience was excellent, thank you! We look forward to returning to town for another visit.

Wonderful cocktails! Try the jalapeño margarita from Jordan. The ribeye special was well seasoned and tender. We had 3 apps that were delicious. We loved the saffron sauce for the mussels. For our anniversary Evan gave us 3 different desserts to try that were amazing. If you want a delicious meal with great service go to Table 50-you won’t be disappointed.

Nice little place tucked away on the market. Service is hit or miss and I’ve never really found anything that tickles my fancy but I wouldn’t turn it down if someone invited me.

Very nice bartender who seems very current with activities and entertainment in the area! We had drinks and dessert. The drink she recommended was an expresso martini and was excellent. The peach cobbler and ice cream were just as good!

Wonderful place for a special occasion! Everything on the menu is excellent! Crab bisque is delicious! I have been in several times. My all time favorite is still the grilled salmon! For dessert, don’t leave without the chocolate torte! Yum!

The atmosphere and service were very good. The crab bisque was also good, although minimal crab and a touch salty. My wife had the grouper which was fresh but tasteless. I had the ahi tuna which was tender and well done. The tuna also was salty. I’m guessing there are better options in town.

One of three local restaurants that I’d give 5 stars. Food and service are always on point here. We loved the ribeye, crab bisque, and sweet potato gnocchi in a Gouda cream sauce last time we went. We like that the food is somewhat classic but not as basic/plain as steak, a veggie, and potatoes. The food has clearly been«thought about» creatively to give it an edge.

I loved this place. Was visiting from CA for a few days and was lucky that a local took me here. Loved everything — the service, the ambiance and oh the food. .. everything was great. I might have to fly out just to have the Herb baked goat cheese salad with spiced pecans, apple, and dried cherries.

Business dinner in Roanoke. Goos service with a plentiful wine list and good beer selection. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal. Good décor and service. Liked the charcuterie and pork belly. If your in town i recommend this spot.

My girlfriend took me to table 50 for a romantic dinner. The food was fantastic but the atmosphere was like a cafeteria. There was a table with 4 kids playing video games and talking sometimes yelling and playing hide and seek amongst nearby tables. We called it to waitress’s attention who got the manager. The manager apologized and said she would talk to owner who was friends with the people. So we agreed and finished our meal. The chaos continued. We declined the freebie and left. No one ever spoke to the people. For the price of a meal at table 50, we expect an environment where the staff asks people to either control their children or not bring them. Too bad the family was so rude that they couldn’t control their children. It was my first and last time to visit table 50 and my girlfriend’s last of many visits.

Phenomenal place! One of my favorites in Roanoke. The restaurant has a classy feel and was very busy when I went on a Monday evening. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. They have an extensive wine list with pretty darn reasonable prices. Our waiter knew quite a bit about their wines and was able to provide a great recommendation. Overall, service was very friendly and fast. I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. There’s a nice, large bar area, too, which I’d love to try out sometime. Overall, a great dining experience! I will be back.

I took my girlfriend there for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. The service was great along with the food. My only complaint would be paying $ 15 for 2 scallops from the appetizer menu. I felt like that was over priced, but the filet with the blue cheese crust made up for it. We will definitely be returning.

An outstanding spot in old downtown Roanoke. Had a reservation, but arrived early and decided to sit at bar, freeing up table for some folks after we saw some walk– ins being turned away as things got busy. Service was great, friendly, and informative. Some good craft beers on tap, and a very good wine list. Truffle fries were nice, fresh-cut, then tomato and mozzarella salad and a Caesar kept us going. Then we had two different risotto dishes, mine was a blackened tuna over andouille risotto — great! We’ll be back for more!

TAPAS! Roanoke is pretty much devoid of any tapas restaurants, but Table 50 has a great selection and enough variety of starters to whet the appetite. We had the app special of the night; kobe sliders, with crab dip, and sweet potato gnocchi. Everything was cooked well and service was friendly and attentive. Speaking with the staff I get the impression the restaurant is continually tweaking the menu and looking for creative additions to the dining experience. We will definitely be returning.

Let me start off by saying 3 stars is being generous. First off, the service is very slow. and I mean very. I had to ask multiple times for water, ice, lemons, bread and butter before it was ever brought to our table. Secondly, our salads were nothing to be impressed about. For $ 7/$ 8 a side salad should be really good. My lettuce on my classic caesar tasted frozen. I could even taste ice chips on it. My husband had the roasted beet salad with mustard vinaigrette and needless to say the beets were not roasted and there was not any dressing on it. Why didn’t you guys send back your salads you ask? Oh right, because our waitress was never around. So, on to the main course, these were actually decent, worth the high price, no, but decent yes. My husband had the filet and I had the black pepper pasta with shrimp. Mine came out cold, so I did send it back. I’m not going to eat a $ 22 cold pasta. The waitress explained that the pasta cook cooks faster than the filet cook, so that is probably why it was cold. Still no excuse. We also ordered 2 sides at $ 6 each, brussel hash and mac and cheese. Both came out in the tiniest saucer cups you have ever seen. They were good though, just such small portions. So, all in all, for a meal well over $ 100, we won’t be going back. Not worth the price to have just«okay» food and«not okay» service.

My sister in law and I ate lunch there the other day! While the food was delish, our portions were tiny and it was ridiculously expensive! My sister in law paid 16 dollars for a tiny garden salad with a very small crab cake on top! There are way too many cute reasonably priced restaurants with great food in Roanoke to go there and pay that price for such small portions! Disappointed!

This place was fantastic. My fiancé and I could barely decide what to order off the menus since everything looked great. We ended up carb loading and loved every minute of it. The sweet potato gnocchi in gouda cream sauce, starter was out of control delicious. The goat cheese salad was just perfect. The honey walnut pesto had a great sauce and was a perfect size. The only complaint would be the décor in the dining side(The bar was great). They need to renovate and remove the carpet, fake skylight, and paintings that don’t go with anything.
