Def. Been to better AFBGYMS they have a lot of equipment but 2 of 5 exercise bikes at the gym did not work properly. They offer spin which I checked out and it was so hot in that building was like a sauna. Ok maybe it was sauna-Spin The music so loud I had to watch everyone around me to see what to do. I’m no newbie to spin either. The spin bikes are low end with no RPMOR anything else to monitor. Ok it’s free if you are a VET or military and with all the budget cuts etc. I guess I Shouldn’t complain; YES, I should military men & women on their bases should have better than this!

The Robins AFB gym is a very good military installation gym. I tend to get there around 6am, so it is not as packed. There are fitness classes, plenty of machines, and various rooms for weightlifting, cardio, and high intensity interval training. The gym has undergone several renovations, and the old basketball court/old gym is still attached. It’s definitely older but it has a lot of equipment(bosu balls, yoga balls, rowing machines, cages with additional fitness gear, etc) and is normally open for people to enjoy. If you’re a swimmer, you’ll appreciate the nice pool as well. If you’re at Robins, definitely give the Fitness Center a try and if you’re working out before/after work and you need to shower, the facilities are very clean.
