Chipotle Mexican Grill

Good, convenient location. We were three for dinner and had a very short line. Tables were clean and available. The food was hot and consistent with other Chipotle locations.

Favorite Chipotle location.
I consistently get fuller burrito bowls here than other locations.
Probably the most ideal macro-​nutrient ratios for body building of any restaurant. I eat here at least once a week after leaving the L.A. Fitness across the street. The employees here even remember my name.

This was my first experience going to a Chipotle (I’m 35, so that seems like a crime, but it’s true!). When it was my time to order I asked the gentleman waiting on me to walk me through ordering bc it was my first visit. He was SO accommodating. Explained the meats and how spicy they were, salsas as well. He was clearly good at, and excited about, his job. It was refreshing to see. The tacos I decided on were delish too. Can’t wait to come back.

The lines are almost always long. However, the food is consistently good. It is always good quality and fresh.

I’m gonna be «that guy» for this one. I absolutely hate chipotle! I think I’m alone when I say that. Most people I know don’t mind it. I’ve been about 3 times because people keep convincing me im just getting the wrong thing. I get 2 bits into my burrito and I literally have tossed it every time. I got the bowl and still didn’t like it. Not to mention I got the steak once and they gave me 5 cubes of meat. I asked if I could have more and they said for an extra charge. so no more chipotle for. Enjoy guys!

Literally one of the smallest burritos I have ever gotten, I’m never going back there again. I loved Chipotle but now I’m going to be going to Moes all the time.

I am a fan of this location! Although the lines are always long… they are consistent! The amount of product you receive is always consistent. You don’t find that at the Greece location, where they tend to skimp on everything.
Anyhow, I love the Bowl and usually order the barbacoa… and for the $ 9 spent on that plus chips and their fantastic guac I am full with a side of leftovers.
On this visit I was not feeling particularly hungry so I opted for the child’s quesadilla meal. I thought it was a lot of food for the price. It comes with beans and rice (but I opted for double rice as it is sooo good). It also came with a side of Guac, a tiny cheese quesadilla. (You can add meat for 50cents), a small bag of chips, and a small soda. I mean, that is a lot of items for $ 4 bucks after tax. I will definitely do that again.

they ran out of rice at 9:20 and they close at 10. the manager with long curly hair said sorry theres nothing she could do about it. really chipoltle?! get new management.

The busiest Chipotle in all of Rochester (from my experience). Being near MCC, RIT, and the largest shopping/​commercial area of Rochester means this location is always packed. They always have a long line when I go in, but it moves quick. I’ve never been disappointed with the food — ever. I’ve been to this location 15+ times and I hope to go back another 15+ more.

Lime rice is the best. More expensive then taco bell, but also better ingredients.

Can never go wrong with the steak burrito bowl! Love the food. Only problem. Be sure to check over your order before leaving if you order online. My orders are never filled correctly when I order online. Weird.

They have great gluten free, vegetarian and even vegan option, but it is very hard to get anything that doesn’t contain cilantro. I know many people like it, but for 10−20% of the population cilantro makes every dish it is in taste like soap! I’m not saying they should remove it from everything, but it should be possible to buy rice without it already mixed in and have at least one salsa option without it. I’d go much more often (instead of maybe twice a year) if my options weren’t «no rice» or «mmm soapy.»

During the work-​week, and if I feel like splurging, I almost always end up at this Chipotle.
The service is quick, but during the lunch hour, there is usually a long line from noon to 1pm (with a 5 – 10 minute wait). And even though the restaurant’s seats can seem full, there is always a quick rotation and rarely does one have to wait for a seat or table.
I’m a big fan of the carnitas bowl (burrito’s are messier, and the burritos I have eaten here are never wrapped tight enough). Without a drink, I am usually ~$ 8 poorer. (…I’m not that old, but I have a mental block that a work-​day sustenance lunch much over five dollars is splurging) .but, I am always more than happy and satisfied after eating here. The ingredients seem really fresh and the rice is excellent. I almost always ask for a little fresh cilantro on top of my bowl, which they are always happy to oblige. Actually, for what you get, I think I’d readily pay more.

A very good place. The service is fantastic and quick. The food tastes outstanding. It’s moderately priced. The ambience is good. I would recommend this place for good Mexican food. It would be better if they deliver.

Holy cow do I love Chipotles! Quick, fresh, and reasonably priced: the perfect trifecta!
Vegan and carnivore-​lovers can sit side-​by-​side and chow down like no other «fast food» restaurant.
They triple filter they free tap water which makes it tastes as good as any bottled water. The free lemons are a nice touch!
The staff, for the most part, is courteous and professional. They work hard and appear to take pride in their efforts.
I have attempted to emulate their cilantro-​lime rice at home. While it doesn’t taste exactly similar, it added a nice twist to my normal rice.
The bathrooms have always been clean. A h-​u-​g-​e plus in my book.
I’m thinking they should release a CD like Starbooties does. I always enjoy the atmosphere music.
So happy they are successful in Rochester!

Summary: Chipotle seems to be on the uprise with their fresh ingredients and natural ingredients motto. I do appreciate that, and they run a very delicious chain of restaurants.
Price: It’s more expensive than say, Taco Bell or McDonald’s, but it’s very reasonable. Most things are $ 7-​$ 9.
Taste: Delicious. I’ve had tacos and burrito bowls, and every time it was delicious. The chicken is especially delicious. I am a fan of the Chicken Burrito Bowl with Black Beans, Cilantro Lime White Rice, and Sour Cream. I’ve also tried the salsas and cheese, and they’ve all been good as well. Everything tastes fresh.
Atmosphere: Someone mentioned it in a review, but the layout is a bit confusing. It’s a nice enough place, but the table layout doesn’t really invite people to walk around. Doesn’t take away from the experience though. Sorta feels a bit hip as well.
Overall: I love Chipotle. I rate it a solid 4.5. I can’t say what I’d like for it to become 5 stars, but it’s still very, very good.

If you think Chipotle is expensive, you can always go to Taco Bell down the road. Or you can go to dirty Moe’s. Just sayin’.
Have you watched them making the food behind the counter at Chipotle? They use whole fresh peppers, onions, avocados, cilantro, etc. Yum.

why I like this Chipotle (1) it was first one in Rochester, and I was really missing them since moving here, (2) the menu is flexible enough so you bring vegan or Gluten free friends along with to eat together, (3) they have always been very quick with service but never unfriendly, (4) after more than a dozen visits since they opened, I have never had an bad meal — consistently good.
