Love this place! Great food and reasonable price. They even have a reward card. We’re going to try the subs for Superbowl Sunday. Can’t wait!

Great little pizza joint in a small parking lot, I only venture out here once since it was near my grandmothers house the delivery guy was pleasant however didn’t care much for the girl who took my order because they don’t do deliverys and then they do so it was confusing but was good over the summer so I had to give them a shot for the employee thanksgiving lunch we had this past week which was ok nothing too special but considering I’m spoiled by the pontillos in the Basin this did the job. I Will probably come back for holiday lunches for the employees in the future only because it’s just so close

Very delicious pizza! My favorite was the crust but the sauce and toppings were great as well.

I Agree with the one person who said it was«underrated». I stopped in on a whim to get a slice. I assumed it would be sub-par like all the other pizza shops … Pontillo’s, Mark’s, Chester Cab, Wegmans. But, alas, I found a shop that uses really good tasting cheese!!! I didn’t even that cheese existed anymore, literally. The dough and sauce were good too. I Loved it!!! Because of their cheese, I rate them the Best Slice in Rochester.

Gallo? Is it me you’re looking for? I can see it in your crust, I can see it in your cheese You’re the slice I always wanted, and you’re dripping with red grease Cause you know just how to bake, and you know just how to knead And I loved your pizza so much… that I peed. What to get: an enormous slice for under $ 3. What else: Starlight liked it, as the pictures show. I’m a slave to pizza. That’s why you’ll often find me in the Gallo’s. If you have the gall to tell me, like some fellow Middle Eastern kids did in a Chinese restaurant last week, that Western NY Pizza sucks, then you have very different taste in pizza to myself. Gallo is another example of what Pizza in this region is all about. It’s huge. It’s greasy. It’s cheesy. It’s saucy. It’s pepperony-y. And it’s really good. So here’s a secret. I’m just mad about Saffron(from Republica). She’s just mad about me. They call me Mellow Gallo’s(quite rightly). I’m keeping it as a 4⁄5 even though it’s a very strong 4, mainly because: a) there are so many other good pizzas in the Rochester and the region in general b) service is brusque c) there is greasy and then there is Gallo greasy… notice the pools of red grease in the pic when you try and eat it… it’s the slice as greasy as a garbage plate! d) they didn’t warm it up for me, and it was lukewarm. e) when we ate it later, my pizza enthusiast friend and I both thought it was«good not great» And please, no fighting when you come to this pizza shop. Like«Highlander», you are not allowed to proliferate violence on Gallowed Ground. Despite all that, it’s an enormous slice, it’s a great deal, and it’s well worth sticking it in your mouth to see what you think. I prefer Perri’s just down the road and Carmine’s nearby, both of which are not particularly greasy and much more dry… usually I prefer wet, but in this case it was a little too greasy wet rather than saucy wet, perhaps. Still very very good though. There are no quivering desserts at this pizza joint(although some of the girls working here were a little quivery when I tossed my hair… okay not really, I wish though), for if there were, it would be Jello’s Pizza. And fantastic value for money, too, no doubt. And for the record I think the absolute best slices in the 585 are Pizza Stop downtown and Joe’s Brooklyn in Henrietta. But Gallo’s is well worth a try so come on by and see what you think. And for Gallo’s sake, stop eating at f***ing Papa John’s and Pizza Hut, they are f***ing awful. And if this is the only pizza you’ve tried in Rochester this summer, then make sure you try others too. Because one Gallow does not a summer make. Just bear in mind that other pizza slices at other places may be so bad that you may spit them out. Hence the famous question: «spit or gallow?»

The first rule of thumb in the restaurant biz is customer service… Gallo’s has that in spades. The delivery driver is the brother of the owner, and even though he is delivering to your home, he makes you feel like family. We ordered two pizzas, one bacon, and one cheese. We also ordered garlic bread and spinach dip. So, let’s get down to the justification for the rating. One star for customer service. One star for free delivery, from a mom & pop place. One and half stars for the food. One star for the rewards club program they run and half a star for just having a cool website. My rating on this place is 5⁄5. You need to try Gallo’s if you are on the west side of town! Thanks guys!

I didn’t get pizza but I’ll have to try that next time. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It’s a gamble to order spaghetti in a new place because sometimes it’s just a soggy mess. Not so at Gallo’s. Awesome pasta done perfectly and the sauce tastes authentically homemade. The service was very friendly and they didn’t tack on a big delivery fee. I’ll definitely order from here again.

My wife has been looking for chicken wings that reminded her of home. After 3 years and many chicken wings, we finally found our match. The wings are perfect. The pizza is awesome and the sub rolls are delicious. I think we have found our new pizza home.

This place is a bit underrated, but they seem to have a healthy following in the Greece area. They make a fat, delicious sub and their pizza is some of the best you’ll find, even amongst all the competition they face. The price is right… you can feed 2 people w/a large sub for $ 7.50.
