Everything here is the same as every other Papa John’s, as far as preparation/taste. The delivery at this specific location, though, is outstanding. They are further from me than most of the places that I order from, but always deliver my food in half the time as the others(even in the winter). I have never visited the location, but can say that after 8 years of ordering delivery a few times a month, their delivery service is consistent and their drivers are – for the most part – a pleasure to interact with. When it is important that my order arrive quickly and as specified, this is where I will order from every time.

This is a great location. There pizza is always good and delivery is always on time. It’s always delicious. I recommend ordering from this location if you want Papa Johns. We got 2 one topping pizzas for 20 bucks. Try it out and see for yourself.

Don’t go here. The place is a rip off. Was shocked to see how little value order was after spending almost $ 40. Received 2 medium plain cheese and one pepperoni, mushroom and black olive, instead of the 3 pepperoni, mushroom and black olive originally ordered. The pie that had the actual ingredients where the skimpiest ever! Chicken wings were dry, tasteless like eating cardboard. Your on your own with the online orders, and if picking up in person, make sure the order is viewed before giving these bozo’s your hard earned money. Tried to call and complain but sarcastic response was, «Well, what do you want us to do about it?» Too late, guess when they get your money, your on your own. Buyer beware!

If you haven’t been here, I’d recommend giving it a try. Overall, I like Papa John’s. It’s not my favorite pizza place(that place is reserved for Carbone’s). It’s not even my second favorite. It’s… different. I can’t compare it to other pizza places. It’s a class of its own. Even their extras, like seasoning packets, garlic butter sauce, and other items included with each order, is unusual for pizza. Theirs tastes a little different from regular pizza, like it uses different seasonings and ingredients. It’s like comparing apples to… apples with seasoning and garlic butter sauce on them? Frankly, I think it’s neat that they’re similar enough to the standard pizza, but different enough to make it unique and stand out. I like their food and have never been disappointed. Their flat crust pizzas are especially good, I think. They would be even better if they put some more vegetables on them when you ask for them. Maybe more sauce, too. And cheese. Ok, so in retrospect, they should add more ingredients. It’s still good, and if they give you something to try with it, like a pouch of seasoning or a cup or dipping sauce, use it! It’s a new experience! Be wild! Two things I don’t like are the way they do special offers and their website’s functionality. It’s a little pricey, so special offers are the only way to really«enjoy» the food. However, many times I’ve gone in to the store to tell them about a deal that I saw online. They say it applies to online orders only, and you can’t get it if you do it over phone.(What? Unheard of!) Sometimes I’ll get there and they’ll charge me a different price than they said on the phone. The website can be very confusing and can take a long time to get your order right… and you’ll probably still have questions and not be sure your order actually went though. It seems like all their food loses heat really fast. When you get it home(even if you live close), you will likely have to reheat to some degree. It’s not a bad thing, but I thought I’d mention it.

Admittedly I love to support small local places instead of chains but I have a soft spot for papa johns horrid garlic sauce. I’d happily lick it off anything it falls on. I’m also a sucker for the«for a limited time» siren song. I’ve tried other«burger» pizzas and I liked that this one actually had a decent amount of special sauce alternative. The burger was suspect and had non savory crunch here or there, although the pickle made me forget the meat. I love the pickle! Some extra sharp cheddar would have been a welcome addition.

We picked up 2 large and some breadsticks on a Friday night. They weren’t really busy, so maybe their ready in 20 minute estimate was high and the pizza had been sitting there waiting for us when we arrived, on time, to retrieve it… I would like to think freshly made pizza can survive the car ride home, but my parents live far from civilization and thus a longer drive home. I think it was too much for these pies. The flavor was just off, not very strong but not weak, just weird. I tried dips of the garlic butter and dips of the marinara — ok, ONE dip of marinara because that stuff was gross — nothing helped. While I would blame it on the 20 minute ride home, other pizzas have held up fabulously compared to these. Truthfully, though, I have no faith that an oven fresh slice would serve up any better. My dad seemed to enjoy it, but he likes cold breakfast pizza leftovers. Maybe that’s their niche, pizza that tastes like it sat in your oven overnight… Not for me. I miss Chicago…

I was just looking for the hours for my local Papa Johns when I saw some turd had givin my favorite chain pizza place a horrible«review». Every time I have ordered from them the pizza was awesome! I love their buffalo chicken pizza. The only bad experience I have ever had was once they forgot some of the extra side sauces I had bought.

I chose this Papa Johns out of laziness and boy did I regret it. I was sitting through a conference call at home and decided to order lunch online. Seeing as how very few places in Rochester offer web orders, i went with a chain. Papa Johns was slightly better than your average chain from what I remembered 10 years ago. So I figured, hey, it has got to be better than Domino’s. The order — Chicken Parm pizza, thin crust, well done. I have had school cafeteria pizza better! There were perhaps 15 pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. The crust was flavorless cardboard. There was an off putting, almost buttery taste to the pizza. Not to mention, their large is more like a medium any where else. I could have ordered a much better pizza from Caraglios that would have tasted better and even been a bit cheaper to boot! Never again Papa Johns!
