Jimmy John’s

Jimmy John’s is attached to the Kahler Inn and Suites, so it is convenient and service was fast even during lunch time. As with most sub shops, there is a small amount of meat with a lot of lettuce, tomato, etc. and a large hunk of bread. I am not a fan of subs in that I think the value is poor and the sandwiches are mostly bread.

It’s unfortunate that I cannot give negative reviews for my experience.
I am a patient at Mayo Clinic. I ordered lunch today as I waited between my appointments. As I am being treated for spinal issues, it is difficult for me to go out to lunch and delivery is my best option. Issac answered the phone and would not listen to my order, repeated it back incorrectly SEVEN times, then forced me to repeat my credit card information SIX times. I’m sure everyone in the waiting room was able to copy each number, expiration date, CV, and my zip code.
After all of this, Issac then told me that another order was «more important and needed to be out the door» so he switched me to another person. The second person confirmed that the credit card information was still incorrect, and so was my order. We got it straightened out.
I gave directions that I was waiting by the elevator, and that I am unable to move due to my condition. I gave my phone number so I could be located. I was assured my order would be delivered «directly to me» in five minutes.
Five minutes later, Issac flew past me and past the floor desk. I slowly, anD INCREDIBLY PAINFULLY hobbled across the waiting room and back to the nurses desk, where A frazzled receptionist was telling Issac that she didn’t know what to do with the order I paid for. I then asked if it was my order, why he didn’t call me or meet me at the elevator as requested and planned. Issac then gave me attitude and said he «didn’t have to and didn’t have a chance.» I was given my food and told to sign the bill. I was not allowed to check the order.
As I painfully made my way to my seat for a pen to sign my bill, Issac proceeded to violate HIPPA regulations by shoving a patient at the desk to grab a pen, he then chased me across the waiting room yelling «You need to sign the bill and tip me.» He shoved the pen at me and I hunched over, uncomfortable and humiliated in the middle of the waiting room, and signed the bill. I held the pen back to him and said «Will you take this back?» Issac growled and yelled at me «You can keep it, it ain’t mine.» He took off through another private part of the clinic, leaving me standing there, humiliated.
Since I do not believe in stealing, even a pen, I then hobbled back up to the front desk, waited to return the pen, and then painfully made my way back to my seat.
This Jimmy Johns has no respect for the seriously and critically ill patients at Mayo. Mayo patients should BOYCOTT this business. Issac should be fired immediately. This experience is completely unacceptable.

Another great Jimmy John’s. The line at lunch during the week can get pretty long, but they’re good at getting people through quickly! They live up to the «freaky fast, freaky good!» at this location!

I was not impressed. My sister said the sandwiches were so great. We called in our order and we picked it up. The menu is very sparse as far as sides, chips and no salads or anything. I got my sub which was missing the onions and wheat bun, another sandwich we ordered came on wheat sandwich bread instead of even a sub roll, pretty bland I don’t think I’ll go here again.

Yummy! Super fast delivery too, I love their vegetarian options. Fresh with crisp veggies and a great avocado spread. Kettle chips are a good quality and you can’t pass up that giant pickle! Pretty good sandwich place.

Great sandwiches and really friendly service. Only downside is that it can get super crowed for lunch and there isn’t that much seating. There is a quick turnover but sometimes have to wait a bit for a seat. They truly are freaky fast.

Standard Jimmy Johns food, really friendly staff. I came here for a sandwich on the way to a conference and I asked for extra lettuce and extra tomatoes and they were very nice about. The prices are standard.

Popular with the younger crowd for some reason. Nothing to write home about.

MUST TRY. I have been coming to Jimmy Johns here in Rochester since it opened. Every time I come here the sandwhiches are 5 star. The bread is baked daily and the produce is always fresh. They sliced their meats and cheese daily. They have the best service ever and the owners truly love their business and it shows. If you’re really hungry try their Garg sandwhich.
