This restaurant is attached to the Kahler Inn and Suites and was apparently called«Crossings Bistro and Bar». One night we got a carry out Club Sandwich, which was a good club, although the contents would not stay in the bread, so it was a little messy. A second night we ate in the restaurant. I had the cod sandwich, which was just OK. My wife had the ruben, which strangely is made with shredded corned beef. She requested extra sauerkraut on the side, but got it on the sandwich. Ended up mostly sauerkraut with a little shredded corned beef. On the positive side, the fries are very good. Suggest you get a small basket unless you are very hungry. They also had a very good Irish milk stout on tap. Yummy.

Food was just so-so. I had a Portabella burger and the mushroom was so small it barely covered the bun. I’m not even sure where the other veggies were. We ordered a kids grilled cheese and it was cold. My mom ordered the teriyaki salad and the chicken was overcooked and hard. The greens were good though. My husband ordered a Cobb salad and he seemed to like it. Also, the service was very very slow. Overall, I would not go here to eat lunch or dinner. I think this is a place for drinks and appetizers.

I am staying at the hotel that is connected to this restaurant. I ate here 3 times and it was terrible each time! I only gave it 3 chances because it was so convenient and I did not rent a car. My first time I got the portobello burger with fries. Both were cold and mushy. The next time I got the cheese«thin» crust pizza. Yeahhh the crust was NOT thin at all and was grossly doughy! The cheese/dough were white with no color. When I picked a piece up it was floppy and just gross! They also had ran out of pizza boxes, so they gave me 4 foam boxes to contain the disgusting slop! I also ordered the apple«crisp», it was not baked and was again mush. It was topped with a raw mushy oats and it tasted like I was eating apple oatmeal. I threw it all away. The food had taken so long that I didn’t even bother to take it back. I am being seen at the Mayo Clinic and have early appointments. Also I am pretty sure anything they would have made would have been the same kind of gross mush. I got food there one last time because it was late and all the other surrounding restaurants were closed. I got the Bruschetta pasta and a side of French fries. The pasta was supposed to be angle hair pasta in a cheese sauce with«bruschetta» topped on it. First thing I noticed was that the portion size was not worth the $ 12 I spent on it. Second thing was the pasta was broken when it was cooked, so it was short pieces of pasta. Oh and there was little to no bruschetta on top. Third thing I noticed was when I took a bite and it was completely mush. The pasta was the same texture as the sauce! GROSS! Fourth thing was it tasted like SOAP! That is when I spit it out and threw it away. Lucky I had ordered the fries and they were crispy/hot this time. I will NEVER go here again! Even with it being so convenient, I would rather go hungry then waste my time/money here. AGAIN I didn’t bother to go back downstairs to return the food because clearly they can’t produce properly cooked food and they take FOREVER!

Amazing staff, the ribs were amazing, ended up staying at the bar and having a few drinks and the bartender had us amazed by his knowledge of drinks and quick wit. Strongly recommend.

I ate here twice while I had my stay at Mayo. Both nights the service was excellent. The food was ok. For the price it could have been better. The first night I had a fish sandwich and fries. The fish was more batter than fish buried in an oversize bun, and the French fries were made in old grease. Not to mention they were also cold. The next night I could tell the fryers were still not cleaned and other guests were getting nasty fries. I do recommend the salads if your on a restricted diet. The Caesar and Asian salad are very good. I would not return here if there was better options close by for sit down hot meals.

We’ve had dinner there twice. The food was good both times. My wife had seafood both times and spoke well of it. I really can’t recall what I had two nights ago – which may say something in itself – but the Bleu Burger I had last night was quite good. The truffle fries aren’t as special as they seem to think, but they were good. The first time we were there the service was slow and inefficient, though friendly enough. Last night’s service was faster and more attentive, though with sort of an amateur feeling. My wife asked whether the potato leek soup was salty and the waiter took the trouble to check and report that it was – she often just gets vague and unreliable reassurances from a server.

Don’t waste your time or money. Service is slow but friendly. They were out of the specials both times. My beer was warm and my soup was cold.

Our server at Crossings was great. However, I ordered a burger medium and it was definitely well done when I got it. We also tried the bread pudding, and were very disappointed. It came and was just three chunks of bread. For a place called a bistro, it wasn’t very warm, ambiance-wise. It was very bright and we were jealous of the people sitting at the bar, as that appeared to be a more inviting section of the restaurant. It was a nice place to grab a quick, casual bite, but nothing special.

Great atmosphere, live music, nice crowd. Best burgers in town, and great fries to go with them! I’ve tried them all in the area and was thoroughly impressed. Will have to come back and try more in the future!

I had the ‘Great Atlantic’ which is shrimp, scallops, tuna and crab in lobster cream sauce with fine herbs, garlic mash potatoes, and fresh seasonal vegetables. It was scrumptious. For dessert we had the coconut cream pie it was very good,. The restaurant is newly opened, very nicely decorated. I will definitely go back. The service was fast.
