I don’t feel like I need to critique the food or beverages at this Starbucks. I’m pretty positive that we’re all familiar with what the chain offers. I really like the service at this particular location. The Baristas are usually very friendly and try to move the massive volumes of people through as quickly as possible. Their drinks are consistent which is nice — I hate paying for an overpriced americano or latté only to find that it’s lukewarm or made incorrectly. There’s also a plethora of parking in the rear of the building, HOORAH, HOORAH! A lot of the other Starbucks(ses?) in Rochester struggle with parking as an issue. Two thumbs up for the Twelve Corners location.

Extremely slow service. On top of waiting so long, I watched the barista mess up a simple iced mocha by continuing to poor milk in it to fill the cup to the top. The result, it tasted disgusting and nothing like mocha! I had to go to my usual Clover Commons location to get my simple drink fixed and made properly. The baristas there ARE trained to make fantastic drinks and quickly too! Will never return to this terrible Twelve Corners location!!!

I am a huge fan of Starbucks hot chocolate. I don’t know of a better version done anywhere else. The food items could be better though. I would like to see better quality cookies. The atmosphere is ok depending on which one you goto. The prices are average to high.

This is your average Starbucks drinks with friendlier baristas than the Marketplace Mall location and far better parking than the one further up the street in the city. It is near impossible to find a table here any time before 8pm. While not my favourite, they do serve the most consistent coffee drinks. They also seem a lot more efficient than most local coffee places here(for those half awake, grumpy mornings).

This if a spacious Starbucks and has great outdoor seating under umbrellas. The staff is mostly friendly and they deal with large lines efficiently. It’s a typical Starbucks. Parking is not an issue, even on the many weekend days I have been.

This Starbucks has undergone a much-needed revamp in the past year that has increased the internal seating capacity. Despite the issues that Alex C. delineates(which I am less annoyed with than he), this Starbucks is STILL a go to place for me whenever I want to have an informal meeting with a client or am picking up a venti soy latte & vanilla scones for my wife(her fave). Parking is not that much of an issue unless you want to park RIGHT in front of the store. There is plenty of parking surrounding Clover Commons. All in all, I prefer this Starbucks to the one in the Village. Try parking over there!

This has to be the WORST single Starbucks in the local area. Not only is parking nearly impossible during weekdays, but god forbid if you want a coffee any time after the local middle– and high-schools let out, because you’ll be standing in a line of biblical length, waiting for acne-ravaged adolescents to count change out for their girly-drinks. Heck, even when the place ISN’T overrun by brats, there always seems to be a line of at least 10 people waiting! As if the service wasn’t bad enough, this location seems to attract a larger number of chair-squatters(at least on the stuffed chairs), who claim a chair and remain planted on it for hours on end. And as an added bonus, sit anywhere near the front door on a winter’s day, and get blasted with cold air every friggin time somebody opens it! And, just in case you think ALL baristas are disgustingly chirpy, this location may have the ONLY gruff and sarcastic baristas in the entire chain. When you get right down to it, Starbucks is the McDonalds of coffee shops. It’s the same everywhere(which isn’t to say their coffee is bad, I just think it’s decent and cosistent), and with who-knows-how-many Starbucks locations in town, I’ve found that it’s rarely worth stopping at this particular location. Unless you’re one of the aforementioned sallow youth, the only other reason I could think of patronizing this location is if you are an orthodox Jew and you wish to purchase a coffe on shabbas. Since this location is in an ‘erev district’, I understand that it’s considered OK to make purchases there. This is the closest Starbucks to my house, and yet I almost never patronize it anymore.
