Update: the owner of this establishment found out about my bad experience and called me to personally to apologize. I feel a little bad now, but I’m glad he stood up I the plate. They do have good service for a reasonable price, and they offer a morning shuttle which is nice for those of use without someone to drive us to work when our car is being serviced. I will be coming back.

I’ve taken my 2005 Nissan here for routine maintenance, including a couple minor repairs and a check engine light. Usually when I call in the morning they find a way to check out the car and fix whatever needs fixing by mid-afternoon, and I’ve never had trouble with their work. A few weeks ago I took the car in because a wheel had gotten rust around the brake pad. At first, they only partially fixed the problem, which required using a machine tool to grind away the rust and even out the surface. I returned the next day, and they did a great job the second time and didn’t charge me for it, even though I think they did more labor the second day than the first. If Jim isn’t in the office, calls to the main line are directed to his mobile phone, so he’s easy to reach. He might joke about looking hard for any repairs they can suggest, but he’s been honest with me about when a repair is necessary or just not worth it. So I’ll keep bringing my Nissan here.
