This is good Chick-​fil-​A food as to be expected, but the service here was so friendly! I hope the staff there know they’re doing a great job!

I’m very impressed with this restaurant. I’m not one to go for fast food but the food and service are better than most upscale places I’ve been to since moving to the area. They have been pleasant and friendly each time we’ve dined here. The inside is clean and welcoming, the drive through was quick. My husband and I actually want to return to this location.

Service was fantastic! Chick-​fil-​A does a great job staffing. They went above and beyond here. Thank you so much! Food, good as always. One of our favorites!

I haven’t eaten at a Chic-​Fil-​A since college where there was a little shop inside the local shopping mall. This restaurant was a stand alone building and we decided to give it a try.
The cashier was a young guy who was really tall. Haha. I’m 6“3′ and he was taller than me. I immediately noticed how polite and helpful he was. He explained the menu to me and was always smiling. I also noticed he replied to my thank you with, «My Pleasure» which is a positive reply as opposed to «no problem» which could be perceived as there was a problem.
Anyway, he helped me choose the spicy chicken sandwich and cheerfully explained the table top thingy for someone to bring my food to me. Apparently the food is cooked to order???
It’s a fast food restaurant and the chicken sandwich was actually better than I remembered it. It arrived hot from another smiling delivery gal. It had flavor and the toppings weren’t slopped all over in excess. It looked as if they made it to eat themselves! Very nice presentation!
The restaurant itself was very clean. We went around lunchtime so it was busy, and the empty tables were clean. Condiment area was very clean as well. I didn’t use the restroom so I can’t say if it was clean it not. However, if it’s anything like the restaurant, it should be spotless.
I will definitely go back the next time we’re shopping in Rockford.

I enjoy coming here. Very friendly staff. I always order the #4 spicy chicken deluxe. The place is clean nothing wrong. Just a four stars because of the menu choices. Some are not that good. Like they lack in flavor. Well a lot in flavor. That is why I get the spicy. Now I wish they had Swiss. It’s not only healthier. It taste better. But hey. You can’t have Swiss all the time. (9−2−15)

I had never eaten at this place before and wanted to see what all the hype was about. So I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and must say, it was very good. The service was also fast, place was clean too. The only negative about this place, as opposed to say Chipotle is they don’t serve beer. For that reason, I can’t give it 5 stars.

Of course, you can expect great customer service and the food was prepared exactly as expected. What was most unusual was the level of the staff. They were very well trained and friendly. We had more than one person walking around in the store asking if they could do anything for us. And they were more than happy to talk about custom menu selections like getting the grilled chicken made spicy or adding bacon, cheese and tomato to the chicken salad sandwich.

Best fast food ever!!! Everyone is always so friendly, but best of all I can’t believe how fresh and tasty the chicken is! I seriously can’t believe chicken at a fast food place can taste this good! Hands down amazing! I’m also a pretty big fan of their milk shakes!

This was the second day in a row that i came through the drive thru & had the same person wait on me, Jamie R. She was very professional. I work in the customer service field and i was highly impressed with her professionalism. Who would ever think that you could have a pleasant experience in the drive-​thru at a fast food restaurant? I literally left there with a smile on my face because the experience was so pleasing. Thank you for great customer service!

We usually only come here for drinks and play area. Clean restaurant with very nice staff. Play area for kids is small but does good for expelling energy. I love that there are always kids around to play with. Ice dream cookie sundae is my favorite!

Love the way the drive through is away from the parking. I hate it when you go to walk in and about get ran over on the way in at other places. food and service is always good.

Rockford Chick-​Fil-​A was my first Chick-​Fil-​A experience. The service was fantastic! Our first experience was in a drive-​through, our second, in-​person. Both experiences exceeded our expectations of a fast food restaurant: very friendly, quickly, clean, pleasant atmosphere. The food was great. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is that I wish they had more all-​natural ingredients.

The location is bad. It’s off of Perryville, which is nice, but the only entrance is shared with the Lowe’s so unless you’ve got quick reflexes, you’ll miss the entrance to Chick-​Fil-​A, especially if you are coming from Cherryvale.
The employees are awesome. Kind, quick, receptive. Orders go out fast — very fast.
The food is great — just make sure to tell them you want grilled chicken if that’s what you want.

It’s chicken. With {extra} pickles. And it’s delicious. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the nuggets and breakfast chicken minis. Oreo milkshake is also a fav. Don’t try the new iced coffee; it’s disgusting and not even recognizable as coffee.
This location is nothing special. Drive thru was fast and convenient. Prices are high (in general for Chick-​Fil-​A as a fast food establishment.)

I was on the fence of giving this 3 or 4 stars.
The reasons I gave it 3 stars: The chicken is better than what you get at some other fast food places, but most people hyped it up so much — saying the chicken was out of this world because it was cut and fried right in the facility. It’s good, but it’s not like heaven or anything. It’s chicken. It’s pretty decent, y’know? The waffle fries aren’t terrible by any means — and it’s cool that they have their own signature look — but they’re kinda bland. Kinda. And every time I’ve had their fresh squeezed lemonade, it was warm. Seriously, that’s kinda gross.
But I was there the first day cause everybody was like «OH CHICK-​FIL-​A» so I wanted to experience that hype. The reason this place almost got 4 stars for me — Even though they were busy, the people there gave out free coupons for a free breakfast sandwich. Our second visit, my girlfriend’s order was taking a very long time and the people cooking forgot to make it. So, the manager gave her a coupon for a free lunch sandwich. The staff is very friendly. Although, it could have been a situation where they were trying to look the best they could because they just opened and wanted to give the best impression possible.
But I think a lot of the reason that people come here so often and why it’s still so busy is that people are all hyped up about how Chick-​Fil-​A is a Christian company. I just wish people would just eat at a place because they think it’s good, not because it’s supports their religious beliefs. And what about people of other religious beliefs who want to eat there? They’ll feel weird once they find out it’s a Christian company. It is weird because a whole corporation shouldn’t take such a huge stance on religion like that because some people will feel shunned, segregated, and unwelcome.
So, 3 stars. It’s decent food. Sucky lemonade. It’s a company that supports one religion… You decide if you want to eat here or not.

Avoid going here on a Saturday during lunch because it is PACKED! However, it was much less crowded in the evening. Service is up to par with other CFA stores and the restaurant was very clean. The food is delicious and hot, I recommend the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with a sweet tea.

Great food! Excellent service! I’m hooked. The spicy chicken sandwich is actually spicy. Waffle fries are a nice departure from regular fries you find at other fast food restaurants. The lemonade is some of the best I’ve had. I always upgrade to a large because it’s so good. I’m a sucker for good service and these guys are very well trained at being courteous. The only negative, I guess, would be that they are always packed, since it’s so new. However I noticed they are not too busy after 8pm.

I realize it has only been open for 3 weeks but am not impressed. Being from Georgia myself and visited Chick-​fil-​a all over the country and the original in Hapeville; I feel this location needs some help. I ordered for eat in and 22 minutes later I got my food and it was in a bag. I indicated when food was brought to me it was eat in the server said they were out of trays. I looked behind the counter and there were 2 large stacks of trays. The restaurant itself is clean and new. I feel this location may need some remedial action to embody Chick-​fil-​a mission. On top of it, my food was even cold, the foil envelope can only keep it warm if the sandwich is warm. The waffle fries had the hash rounds in them and I didn’t order hash rounds but waffle fries.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one. A Chick-​fil-​A opens up in Rockford and everybody in a 20 mile radius flocks to it like pigeons to a handful of tossed bread crumbs. Seriously, the place has been packed for three days.
I haven’t eaten at a Chick-​fil-​A in almost 6 years. Honestly, I don’t remember being all that impressed by them at the time. So I wasn’t excited when word came out they were opening one locally. But they are new and on my route, so this morning on my way to work as I was driving past I noticed the line was short for the drive through and I decided to see what their breakfast items are like.
This Chick-​fil-​A is located in the parking lot of a Lowe’s hardware store. It has a Perryville address, but you have to access it by driving through the Lowe’s parking lot entrance off of Argus Dr. If you are going to go through the Drive Through you need to immediately turn right at the edge of the parking lot. It’s not hard to figure out.
The line was short so I was able to put my order in immediately at a little after 9:30 (not sure exact time, but this is important) I sat at the speaker for a good 5 minutes after I placed my order before I was able to pull forward because the line wasn’t moving. I needed to be to work at 10. Just to save everyone some time, This place is horribly slow. When I started to get frustrated I looked at the clock and it was 9:42 and I was barely around the corner of the drive through. (See picture) Then we waited more. By the time I received my food it was 9:58. Yep, I’m going to be late.
The food itself is okay. I had the spicy chicken breakfast biscuit. This is probably one of, if not the spiciest fast food chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was good; Great by fast food standards.
Overall my impression is that they just opened and haven’t fully trained the staff. Mix that with a huge influx of customers because it’s someplace new to eat, you’re going to have long waits. So if you are in a hurry, you might want to avoid this Chick-​fil-​A for a while until they get up to speed.
I’ll probably go back in a couple of months when things settle down and give them a second chance to be fair. When I do, I’ll update this review.

You know what Chick-​fil-​A is. This one is new, clean, quick and tasty. I took the drive-​thru, and the friendly voice took my special order with ease. At the window, employees were smiling and enjoying themselves. My order was correct, and arrived quickly.
Bottom line: Rockford LOVES fast food, and this restaurant will be a success if the speed and service continue. Recommended.
