Always have great food and lots of it for a reasonable price. Fresh veggies, clean restaurant and quick, friendly service. *Recommend the basil chicken as spicy as you handle it.

Okay, so it is evident that the poor people of Rocklin have no real Chinese food to compare this place to except Panda Express and that in itself is sad!!! Our family has had the«runs» ALLNIGHT! Everyone was excited about trying this place solely based on Unilocal reviews and we had planned a movie night at the drive-in, everyone was so excited and this place RUINEDITFORUS! The chow mein was loaded with grease, the beef was squishy and strange and laden with CORNSTARCH! It was so chalky the beef was WHITE!(See picture of «oyster sauce beef») They use STYROFOAM containers for food fresh out of the wok which adds up to your food tasting like MELTEDPLASTIC! All last night and still this morning– we’re all sick. Sour stomachs and full bathrooms, thank you PRIMEDISGUSTINGWOK! When we walked in and saw your pre-battered par-cooked food line and your teenage employee told us there are only three sauces and it’s all pretty much the same… we should’ve known! You should be ashamed of yourselves!
Love the noodles. Pretty good for a quick lunch. I’ve tried the spicy garlic beef(which was my favorite) Kung pao chicken and the shrimp zucchini. There weren’t that many shrimp but there was a ton of zucchini so it made up for it. So many lunch options. The one item is enough food for two people.

My wife and I expect logical and courteous experiences at any and every place we go in life. The taste here is great, but when we both go we each usually get the grande plate. After many months of coming here, we realized that we both don’t need two entire servings of lo mein for the two of us. So we recently inquired about possibly reducing the cost slightly(even a dollar off shows courteous professionalism and common sense on their behalf) by removing one of our lo mens from the order, and the manager refused to do so. Compromise is key in business practices and they’ve now lost our steady business due to their lack of common sense. We unfortunately will not be returning here

What a find! Our first time eating here. The food is hot and delicious! Prices are very reasonable. Portions are very large. Will definitely be frequenting this gem.

This place is a little hidden especially if you don’t know that it’s there & am driving through the main street. This place can get busy at times, but the employees take your order quickly & efficiently to get your food to you as fast as possible. I’ve had food from this place several times now & the food is decent. It’s fast food so you can’t expect gourmet but it’s definitely not bad. Sometimes I order the chow mein & Mongolian beef but they both taste the same. Pretty soy sauce heavy and not enough flavor. I would recommend adding peppers or spicy sauce to your meals, just to kick things up a notch. One of the big bonuses is the prices are great for the amount of food you get. The portions are huge! Great idea to order one combo & just share it with someone. Very friendly staff & I would definitely keep ordering food from here!

Huge portions. The grande plate is enough to feed 2. I love their chow mein and every dish I have had there so far has been delicious! More of a take out place than a sit down restaurant. plenty of tables but nothing special inside. Great food and great prices!

Great place if your just grabbing something to go but wouldn’t recommend it for a sit down meal. Stopped here because it was close to work and I had limited time. My order was out quickly. Got the hot orange chicken with chow mein lunch combo for $ 6.95. Was really surprised how good the hot orange chicken was. Not only was the food great but the portions were HUGE! Ended up having leftovers for dinner. I am going back for sure.

For the price and even without the price in tact this place is pretty good. Had it for my first time tonight with my family. We ordered the shrimp and vegetables, orange chicken and chow mein. They give you unbelievable portions for the amount you pay, the whole family ate with leftovers! Great secret little find. We will be coming back.

2.57. If you want large portions of Americanized Chinese food, this is the place to go. Hungry and hubs picked up take-out from here. Huge portions of greasy, mediocre Chinese food. If you’re not hungry, you can share a meal, which would be about $ 3 per person. Now that’s a deal! :)

I’m very disappointed that they started filling in where the meat should be with rice. It looks like it will be a decent meat to rive ratio, but then you get halfway down your meat and it’s just more rice. While the food is pretty good, I don’t want to just eat a huge plate of rice.

My favorite place for(Americanized) Chinese food in the area! I typically get the Grande plate, which is enough food for two meals. Staff is always friendly. This place gets very busy during lunch hour, but is manageable otherwise. I love that you get to pick between white or dark meat, although they don’t allow you to mix the two. Overall, yes!

My Fiancé, kids and I ate here today for a late lunch and it was delicious price was very reasonable especially for the large portions that they give you. our order was A little complicated because the kids didn’t want the beef in the beef and broccoli but they rolled with it without making us feel like we couldn’t do that. The guy taking the orders was very nice and even helped me carry the food to the table outside. We will definitely be going back!

If your looking for HUGE portions of yummy Chinese food @ a low price then you should go to Prime Wok. I love their chow mein! Thinner noodles then the usual chow mein found in most restaurants & seasoned perfectly! They also give you the choice between white & dark meat w/their chicken dishes(dark meat only please). This time I ordered the chow mein and chicken w/green beans… Very good! With the huge portions they serve you can easily eat it for a few meals lol or share it amongst two people! The restaurant can get pretty warm outside, but they offer outside seating so I can’t really complain :) for me & my husband we paid $ 18 for our lunch(which will most likely be dinner too).

Five yes Five stars, not for ambiance, not for selection, not for complex mind boggling food, five stars for huge portions of Chinese comfort food at inexpensive prices! This place is hard to find. I have lived a few miles away for over two years now and never new it even existed, thanks Unilocal!Located in the Office Park adjacent to the RC Wiley’s shopping center, you could literally throw a rock and hit Lucille’s from the parking lot. There is nothing special about the interior or exterior of PWE. It is medium sized with lots of small tables typical of a fast food joint. Prime Wok Express is set up cafeteria style and most people order the Grande Special. For $ 6.99 you get one side: rice, fried rice, or chow mein(all non meat) and one entrée. The food is not kept under heat lamps it is Wok’d on order and trust me you can hear the Chinese Chef’s smacking the wok’s when they are cooking your food LOL. We tried the crispy chicken and hot garlic beef. I was busy taking photo’s when our food arrived and my wife went to figure out which box was her’s, she immediately said«why is this box so heavy». Each box literally weighted 2−3lbs and was chock full of food! My hot garlic beef was very spicy but the beef was super tender and the chow mein was delicious. My wife’s crispy chicken was not traditional fried chicken at all, more like a honey chicken or orange chicken. All of our food was hot plentiful and tasty. Now like I said, don’t come here seeking 5 star Zagat rated food, but if your hungry and want some Panda Wok type food this is a great spot.

Fast food? For fast food this is easily a 5. If I had to compare this place to Panda Express… I wouldn’t. This place is awesome! 6.99 for a huge plate of chow mien and Orange chicken– see picture. The taste was spot on. Portion size was great and filled me up. Inside it’s a little dated but it’s super clean and they actively cleaned as people left. Menu and pictures and a bit dated too– but you don’t eat the pictures. Limited soda selection with 6 choices: Pepsi, diet Pepsi, Sierra mist, and orange crush– with sweet and unsweetened tea. About a dozen tables with seating for about 30 people inside. You’ll have to put some chairs together to sit more than 4 together. I’d call ahead with a group. It was a little smoky when we came is but my best guess is that they had just steam cleaned the wok. Really nice customer service and it’ll definitely be a regular stop when I’m in the area!

I have to say, I’m absolutely surprised by the quality of the food here. I completely dismissed the place on first glance, but it really came through. Long story short, I was in a pinch and I needed lunch fast, so I took the plunge. And it really surpassed my expectations! The portions are HUGE for lunch. I’m a big eater, and I just couldn’t hang. And very tasty dishes, too! Nice, saucy and with plenty of vegetables to complement a generous portion of meat. Is it fine-dining? By no means! But it gets the job done. Two notes, though: one funny, and one the lone blemish. First, the menus are laughably out-of-date here. The ones posted above the register are chock-full of things they no longer serve(some a little more Thai than Chinese) or have since modified. Just take it down, guys. Second, the meat here IS sometimes 100% dark meat, depending on what/how you order. Apparently, some dishes you must specify if you want white meat. It may not seem like a really big deal, but I prefer white meat by a pretty wide margin, so it wasn’t a happy surprise when the opposite popped up. But, that aside, this is a solid lunch spot. Not a date spot, but a place to fill the belly for sure.

A lot of food! Came here for lunch now that I work in Rocklin. Why did I not discover this restaurant before… only found out about it when my co-worker at my new job brought back take-out food from this restaurant. I had the beef fried rice a-la-carte… it had enough beef in it that it didn’t need anything else. It’s a one-dish-meal. I ate and ate and ate and there was still a lot left of fried rice to feed three people at home for dinner. They really packed that styrofoam container! And it was only $ 5.95 + tax. Food was tasty and delicious and freshly cooked, ready in 5 minutes. Many seem to come here for take out but there are enough table seating inside. I almost did not find this place. It is located in the same shopping center as Woody’s Grill and Bar and it’s hidden in a corner among other businesses. The restaurant is clean and the owners/staff are friendly! On my way out one of them waved and said ‘thank you’ to me. Must try their other combo meals next time! This place was a hidden gem.
