Subway employee Lorna was very rude while making my sandwich. She made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. There is another subway down the street I may go there instead

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would! As we were eating lunch today, the dark haired girl jumped on the counter to hang up a menu sign in front of the toaster with her dirty tennis shoes. This is a major health hazard. This is beyond a food handling issue, she contaminated the counter with her dirty tennis shoes(that were on in the bathroom, street, who knows where else these tennis shoes walked) and then hung up the sign. She then NEVER sanitized the counter after walking with her dirty tennis shoes on it. She went back to work and put on gloves to make sandwiches… why wear the gloves? Bacteria and who knows what else are now on the counter where food is being prepared and the gloves. If someone touches that counter and then my food you are talking about a major potential health problem. Now the question is… what is on our sandwich? I will never eat there again.

You go to most chains and say«meh» I was pleasantly surprised today. 2 complicated sammich orders, girl behind the counter was right on pointe and super friendly. Their breads seem rather large and fluffy to(big yay)

Well, it’s a Subway. Just like at any other Subway in the nation, you’ll have your choice of sandwiches, little bags of chips, and drinks. I went for«breakfast» at about 10 in the morning, decided on a hot pastrami foot-long. Can’t complain about the sandwich, turned out quite well(only one small error: the inclusion of onions when I asked for them to be skipped). The two employees that I saw appeared to be in their late teens or early twenties, clean, courteous, and interestingly enough, not particularly enthused to be there. I have to admit, at that age I wasn’t thrilled to be at work either — at 10am I was still recovering from the night before. And maybe that was the case here as well, it would explain why the guy making my sandwich looked«through» me instead of «at» me. Nevertheless, while their movements appear slow at first glance, I had a hard time noticing any inefficiency. In the end, I got the sandwich that I ordered, got my bag of chips, got my drink, and went to work. I came there for a quick bite to eat, not for ambiance and conversation… so I got exactly what I came for. The experience was just fine… nothing that would make me ecstatic every time I went by, but it certainly wasn’t a bad experience by any means.

As one would imagine, the food doesn’t really vary from one Subway restaurant to the next, and I love Subway’s sandwiches. The problem here is the staff — the vapid, brain-dead and her counterpart, the grinning, lanky tall guy are consistent only in their propensity for error — I have never left this Subway with everything I needed. They have forgotten napkins, credit cards, and meat(yes, meat) on various occasions. Is it too much to ask that an employee remember that a customer need not sign for a debit card purchase and should just let the customer get on with his day instead of wasting 3 – 4 minutes every single time he goes in there? Good Day, Subway.

Well it’s just like any other Subway, but for some reason I prefer this Subway compared to the rest in the area. It’s not family run, so you can actually understand what the employees are saying. It’s in a great location, next to Safeway, CVS, GNC, Radio Shack, Wells Fargo… the list goes on. This is my fav Subway, 5⁄5.
