I had a great experience here, had the Duck and Shrimp special! Highly recommend it! You have the option to find or to do the happy hour. I chose to dine and everything from the service to the food was on point. They have nice cocktails as well, the peanut butter cup was amazing!

Went to Spiro’s tonight… ordered Beef Wellington. Menu specifically said it was filet mignon… what was put in front of me was a beef pot pie.
UPDATE — Management reached out to me and made good on this. Very happy with their service and accept this as a one time issue.

Spiros never disappoints! The food and the creative drinks are just amazing! Atmosphere is great, staff professional, friendly, & attentive. Cant beat the Happy Hour deals! We always look forward to going & recommend to all!

I came to this restaurant on Saturday in the afternoon. It was not crowded which I like but by the time we left it was very crowded. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was good but my friends steak that I took a bite of was what I should have ordered. I wanted to just switch our plates. The steak was really good! The calamari appetizer and the tuna appetizer were both really good too. The chef came to the table which is nice. Overall I liked the restaurant, but the sea bass I ordered was bland. I think if they put a sauce on it or added some flavor it would be amazing. Our waitress was nice and it was really just the sea bass that turned me off. It’s not a cheap restaurant so maybe my expectations were too high. I wanted to take a bite and experience the best I’ve ever had but that did not happen. I would not recommend this dish obviously. Get the steak!

Decided to try Spiros for restaurant week. We ordered off the Prix Fix menu. For appetizer, I had the shrimp oreganata and my husband had the baked clams — both were delicious. For dinner, I had the 2 pound stuffed lobster. This was amazing! After eating what I thought was a butter breadcrumb stuffing, underneath was stuffed with tons of scallops! What a yummy surprise! My husband had the 24 ounce steak and it was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we both had the creamy, dreamy chocolate mousse. We cannot wait to come back here!

Went here tonight for my birthday. Walked in and stopped at the bar before we sat down. We had cosmos, martinis, and beer. Everything was great! Sat down. Our waitress was very accommodating and sweet. For apps we had raw oysters, fried calamari and I had mussels. Both delicious. The main courses did not disappoint. Mom had braised short rib, I shared pasta with seafood (forgot the name) with my sister, boyfriend had stuffed lobster with crabmeat, and sisters boyfriend had crab legs. Many choices to pick from especially appetizers. Their drink menu is amazing. Great service. Owner came by to check 2 times to see how everything was. Exactly how it should be. Desserts were great too. I had the toasted almond. But I tried my sisters boyfriends crem brûlée and it was DELICIOUS. Definitely recommended. Will go back

Everything here is awesome. I’ve come here at least five times since finding out about it and I’ve enjoyed every visit!
First off, you’ve got super friendly bartenders mixing up some great late night drinks. With a happy hour menu that goes on for days and literal dozens of other cocktail choices, you’ll never be disappointed by selection. They’ve got just about every type of liquor and mixer you can think up! Jake is the man always coming up with something creative beyond the menu and surprising me and my friends!
Secondly, food. One word — delicious. One of these days I’m going to have to make it over earlier in the evening to taste something off the regular menu, but all the food on the happy hour menu is fantastic.
Can’t wait for my next visit — so nice to have a place to go on LI with great food and drinks even late.

I gave this place another chance after the manager/​owner Jay reached out to me apologizing for my bad experience there. He was very professional, understanding, and wanted to make it up to me, so he gave me an extremely generous gift card to use. I went back there last night and had a really great meal! The service was on point! Our drinks and our waiter were awesome, and of course the food was delicious! We had wine, shrimp cocktail, lobster, duck and it was all great! Im glad I gave them a 2^nd chance. I see now that you cant always be so quick to judge. Thank you Jay/​Spiros for your generosity and letting us enjoy a great night. We’ll def be coming back!

First time there the food was outstanding!!! But the service was terrible! We sat in the lounge and the bar tenders waiting on us not the best! My husband and myself both work in the restaurant business and let me say the lady was far from friendly she was not as server but I asked her for something anyway and she looked like she didn’t want to be brother! I would love to go back the food was amazing but I dont like to feel like a brother to the staff so I that case I don’t know if I will be back…
So me and my husband gave it a second chance and again the food was outstanding!!! And this time the we sat in the dining room Brittany was our server and she definitely made up for our first experience she was a sweetheart! A new spot to add to our list thanks again to management for being so responsive!

great aged steak and nice cabernet selection. I ordered the almond tiramisu for dessert and it was fantastic! The bar is huge, thinking on renting the place for a party…

Our first time there the place was pretty empty, it was a Sunday night for a late dinner. The place was great! So we brought my son for dinner the next time on a Friday night during reg dinner hours, the place was busy, we did not have the same experience. Service was terrible. Food was not up to our expectations! Will not go back again. So sad!

Wow. First time experience. Everything was great. Food was spot on. Appetizers were spectacular. Bottle of wine was perfectly paired with food. Dessert was phenomenal. Ambience with back ground music was perfect level for a comfortable conversation. Downside 1 toilet for guys & 1 for girls, not goddess during happy hour

I don’t understand how this place is so highly rated. My first time there, my chicken was undercooked so it had to be sent back. It was «average» tasting. The second time I ordered takeout and was extremely disappointed. I ordered pasta with spinach and sundried tomatoes in a cream sauce for $ 27! The cream sauce was bland and tasted more like flour than butter or cream. If it was amazing than the price of $ 27 would have been justified. There are so many better places than this one. I would never eat here. If I want to go out locally I go to Alexandros. If I want take out, Branchinellis has better pasta.

I fist heard about this place during Unilocal’s Cocktail Classic. They were serving their incredible biscotti martini which in my opinion, was the shining star of the entire event! My fiancé’ and I have passed this place on a number of occasions and were intrigued, but never actually stopped in. After the Unilocal event, we needed to see if the food was as delicious and unique as their drinks. We made a reservation (which we definitely needed on a Friday night) and were seated in the bar area. We recognized out waiter immediately from the Unilocal event. Very friendly and attentive. He told us that he was part owner and sent over drinks on the house! Since we were seated in the bar area, we were given the bar menu. I ordered a stuffed portabello mushroom, my fiancé’ ordered steak tid-​bits. The portions were huge!
The bar area was casual while the actual dining area was a bit more upscale. The restaurant, as a whole, was very clean and beautifully decorated.
I would definitely return. The service is amazing, the food is killer, and the drinks are worth the trip, alone! Cheers!

Michelle is the best of the best & spyro is a food aficionado! Food is great but the martinis are off the charts. Chocogasm, all the way upto the infamous rizogalo (greek rice pudding) martini. My friend Avraam recommended this place now this sets the bar for standard of good food in a great atmosphere at a reasonable price. MICHELLE THANK YOU! See you real soon.

We went on a busy Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. Spent time at the bar and the bartender was very accommodating and was happy to talk about the drinks he was preparing for the people at the tables when we asked about the different ones. The appetizers were excellent and well proportioned. Finally the meals were great. I had the braised short ribs. I’m going to have a hard time trying something new next time I go back because they were perfect, tender and delicious.

Phenomenal experience– I really enjoyed this place. I went with a girlfriend for their happy hour special, which they have 7 days a week. The cocktails here are out of this world– so creative and made with such care. We shared appetizers of hummus and eggplant parm which were perfect for 2. I then had the bass salad on a bed of spinach tossed in sesame ginger dressing for my entrée and I have to say I was really impressed. My friend got the grilled chicken and fresh mozzarella salad, which was also great! At the happy hour price, this was an absolute steal! Every cocktail we tried was wonderful; there wasn’t one we disliked. This place does tend to fill up, but I promise it’s well worth it. Try Spiro’s for happy hour for an amazing deal; I know I’ll be back for their regular dining hours.
