One of the best breakfast /lunch spots in the area. They prepare the food with love. And the services is awesome. You are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. It is small but homey. I enjoy coming to this place and seeing all of the sports memorabilia on the walls! Kudos to Flippy’s for enduring and staying faithful to your patrons!

Li’l greasy spoon joint. Reminds me of your old school mom and pop spot from the east coast. Big Giants and 49’ers fans. Staff is friendly. Came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Bo problem getting a spot at the counter. Small parking lot for 5 or so cars but there’s street parking available. Had about 2 hours to kill and there’s not much else in the neighborhood so highly recommended.

Came on a Sunday around 10am because I wanted to catch their waffle before they stopped serving it at noon. I won’t talk about the décor since all other reviews pretty nailed it and I didn’t take any pictures as the pictures would be the same others have already posted. We walked in and already there is a crowd by the door. A mix of people who were paying or waiting to be seated. I saw an older couple seat themselves at the bar and I followed their lead. As I observed other patrons facial expressions, I was wondering what I’m getting myself into. You can tell that some people were waiting for a long time and had yet to make their order. The bf ordered the steak and eggs with a side of short stacked pancakes(he was craving) and I ordered the waffle delight. We were waiting for our order for at least 35 minutes? Yeah, ridiculous! Although, I do have to give credit to our waitress who came up to us twice to thank us for our patience and let us know the status of our order. I wasn’t sure if she did that out of habit or if I had an irritated look on my face. LOL. The waffle was delicious! The best of both worlds, it was skinny but still remained its crunchiness. The bacon, sausage and eggs were regular. The bf did not like his steak at all, it was tough and rubbery. He devoured his pancakes though. Here’s the deal. It’s a good family restaurant and their waffles are great, but the reason why this place gets such a low rating is their wait. They had 2 cooks and 3 waitresses. One waitress mainly stayed behind the bar and didn’t take any orders or serve any tables. She was like deadweight(tough love but it’s the truth). Later on, I saw a bus boy come out of nowhere but still saw the waitresses bussing the tables. This place would strive even more if they hired more cooks, a designated cashier, and waitresses who will help when the place gets busy. At least our waitress was really trying to make the wait less painful. Kudos for that.

Came in and this place’s setup was so cool. It’s a cute small diner. Too bad we didn’t get to even eat because I bet the food was good. As my fiancé, my daughter and I walked in the door. We seated ourselves and a couple came after us. Well turns out the server decided to help them first. My family was just very hungry and it’s not new to us that an older sophisticated-looking couple comes in AFTER us and is helped BEFORE us. But it wasn’t just that, we were waiting for a while and nobody even greeted us or said someone would be with us. It’s too bad because the reviews look great. Maybe next time when its not so crowded, I’ll come back and update my review.

Had breakfast there this morning. The owner, Vicky, was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. It had the best gravy on Chicken Friend Steak that I Have ever had. Big chunks of sausage and thick gravy. The Chicken Friend Steak itself was perfect. Vicky was very attentive checking in my coffee. The place was very clean and homey. I will definitely come back again.

I like how they accept the Valley Bible Club Card(10% off your bill.). The food is good and the people(Vicki and her family) are very nice. I like their cheese dogs with macaroni salad.

My son and I love this place; we come here every Friday before he goes to school and before I head to work. The owners are very friendly and are very attentive. The place is small and quaint, a good family friendly place. Vicky always take our orders and by the third time around, she already knows my son’s order, Petite Plate, sunny side up with bacon, sourdough bread with hot chocolate on the side. She also knows my usual order. She is very attentive because I do not have to call her when I need something, she comes often and checks my coffee, asks whether we need anything else. The food is fairly decent; with the price, I won’t complain. Point is, service is exceptional and food is good!

Friendly waitress, small diner. Came for breakfast, hash brown was cooked as requested. Was disappointed with the pancakes, it was rubbery!

Local breakfast shop. I love the mom&pop feel to this place… I don’t know about everything on the menu, but I had the french toast dish. I have tried french toast at just about every breakfast in this area and I think Flippy’s has the best french toast. :)

I had a great experience here with my family, on a quiet Monday morning. The woman who was helping us was incredibly attentive, and helpful, especially with my toddler. The food here was tasty and affordable as well(your typical breakfast fare). What I enjoyed most about seeing in this place are the regulars who spend their time here with their newspapers and friends. A great local space, that gives space for the locals. Try one of their specials! It’ll come out quick and hot.

I was afraid to post a review of this location — as I would be afraid my favorite spot would be pack & I would have to wait for a seat — I had to post as this place NEVER fails. My family and I have been here for the past 5 years now. What can I say move over Denny’s, IHOP, or Mel’s — Flippy’s hand down is the BEAST. Food: Consistent Quality & Quantity(Oatmeal & Pancake Delight) Price: Cheap Location: not fancy hometown feel Waiting Time: 0 Zero Service: If you go there often as my parents do(3 times a week) the server knows your order) Shout out to the Owner Vicki — your the BEST

I had a feeling when I drove past that this might be a great little place. I wasn’t wrong. Simple foods done right. Nothing fancy. Good staff and a clean restaurant. I will make this my «go-to» place when I am in the area.

Good breakfast spot, give you that feeling of home cooked meals, which I definitely miss. Would have gave it 5 stars but the selection of beverages is not that great.

I came in on a Sunday morning at about 11 and the place was packed. Good sign… so I thought. We took a seat at the counter. It was between five and ten minutes before we got water and coffee. The waitress was pleasant but overwhelmed. The couple nice next to us shared their creamer because they noticed we needed some. Soon an older gentleman came in, a regular. He says the food is good and the service is usually much better. We wait about 10 minutes before our order is taken. I know this because of the giant clock above us that was running ten minutes fast. Our food doesn’t arrive until about 40 minutes after we sat down. My biscuits, gravy, two scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon were okay. The biscuit was covered in a mound of thick gravy that hid the fact that the biscuit itself was tiny. The price was reasonable. My husband had the chili omelette, which was also just okay. The restaurant itself is a no frills, friendly spot, decorated with a mural of Rodeo, featuring the San Pablo Bay, fishermen and the logos of local businesses. There are plenty of Giants decorations and sports memorabilia. Flippy’s seems like a nice family spot. I want to support local businesses so I’ll try it again to give them a second chance.

If you’re looking for a traditional American breakfast and nothing fancy, this is the place for you. The menu consists of normal breakfasts such as 2 eggs with bacon, sausage, and toast. I had the french toast delight and my boyfriend had the chili omelette. The hash browns were probably the best I’ve ever had. My french toast was tasty, and I finished everything on my plate. I also loved all the SF giants and 49ers memorabilia decorating the walls. Overall a very quaint, humble breakfast joint that brings you back to the 80s.

The 2 times that I’ve been here with my boyfriend it has been real good! The portions are just enough and not too over whelming nor too little. The surroundings of the restaurant have a lot of Giants and Niner memorabilia. As a SF Giants fan I LOVE how they put the LA Dodgers posters near the bathroom because they are sh! t! Moving on… The food is good and the service is fast and friendly! Definitely recommend this place to get breakfast and lunch
