Zero stars would be given if possible. As a first time customer I’m extremely disappointed with their service. On Christmas Eve the restaurant was closed but was open for pick up for catering orders. We put in an order for New Year’s Eve a week in advance and sadly they closed the restaurant and failed to inform us that our order was canceled. We thought they would be closed but open for pick ups but I guess not. So basically we wasted our time and our money. Terrible business just lost a potential customer and as the saying goes, one lost customer means losing another 10 when they tell their friends and family. Overall, maybe the foods good if we ever get to try it. All they had to do was call us to let us know they couldn’t do the order. What a waste.

Ordered nachos and super burrito yesterday just to satisfy my crave. Nachos was good, the burrito was dissapointing. There was no guacamole, hardly there was a sour cream. I could have gone somewhere else but since I haven’t been to this place in a while I thought food had improved

Food is excellent for the price, and I like Americanised Mexican so that’s ok! I’ve been twice for lunch, the first time having just a taco and guac which wasn’t quite enough but was $ 5, and the second having a full carnitas plate at $ 10 — $ 12 and being overfaced. The menu is a little overwhelming, being on a chalk board that’s packed with information. I’ve just seen what I’ve wanted and asked, although they have had a specials board and there are some printed menus. You have to order up front before going to sit down, and then the food is brought to the table, however, it’s not fast — we’ve had 10 — 15 minute waits in both visits. The restaurant is definitely on the shabby side with no real thought to to lay out of the tables or waiting chairs and the inside lighting has not been switched on, meaning you are relying on light from the large windows for visibility and atmosphere. The temperature I’m sure is colder inside than outside so take a coat. For some reason they also have a key to unlock the toilet that you have to ask for, which is strange as I didn’t see any passing people either visit.

Food is bland and Salsa is boring. They need to spice up their recipes. The El Sol in Pt. Richmond is a little better!

I don’t know why people dislike this place. The food is good, it’s fast and better than the other option in town. The shrimp burrito is on point and the jalepeno poppers aren’t bad either. The stater salsa and chips hit the spot. Not the best location for parking but worth it, if you are around and don’t want to drive far.

Best mexican restaurant in woodland. Always great service. Every other saturday me and an elderly woman eat there. The waiter always has our favorite table ready, salsa on table and always remembers what we drink.

Never again! I only went here because it was convenient not because it was good. Haven’t returned since September 10th. Firstly, the food isn’t authentic, it’s completely Americanized. Their carne asada is tacos is the only reason I would give the place a generous 1 star and not say zero. The beans are always hit or miss; either too salty or with none at all, none at all is fine because I can add my own. The cheese they add on top of the beans is also strange and does nothing great for flavor. Rice… well I don’t know, taste like air. I decided to try something different which was the Tamale plate which was the biggest mistake because the carne asada tacos seem to be the only good thing. Also, it cost $ 10 for one torn up Tamale drenched in flavorless sauce.

Been eating here for years and I love their burritos. The staff is super friendly. They currently don’t have a kids menu but thankfully my daughter does well just eating the regular bean and cheese burrito. There is a lot of space to eat and the food is really good. Love their rice.

We reluctantly tried to eat from here again and once again we are totally disappointed.(As if we didn’t know better) Apparently the owners don’t read their reviews because the food was still a let down. My wet burrito was cold and bland(at least it was wet this time) and my sweethearts grilled chicken was down right disgusting I noticed she moved all the chicken to the side of her plate and I thought to myself no way it can’t be completely inedible but it in all honesty it really was terrible the consistency wasn’t right and the flavor was down right nauseating ! This time really never again !!

This place is bleh. Nothing worth going to Rodeo for. We ordered 2 wet carne asada burritos and a small quesadilla that came out to nearly $ 30. The meat was tender but the sauce on top of the burrito was very bland and tasted like pinto beans. They charge an additional $ 2.50 to make your burrito wet, not worth it. Also, their salsa has mango in it. They really should mention that on their menu for those that are allergic. The décor is old and the fabric seat cushions seem like they have never been cleaned. The place was stuffy and very hot(and it’s not even hot today) Won’t be coming back here again.

Food is mediocre. I like the ambiance. Staff is average. But this restaurant is definitely involved in the community which is great.

Edible, that’s about it! Our first time here we ordered a carne asada burrito, carnitas plate and cheese quesadilla. The best thing, the quesadilla. The carnitas, beans and rice ALL bland and clearly reheated and not fresh. Really bummed! May try his place once more out of convenience, but only once more.

Come here every once in awhile with coworkers for lunch. The people here are nice, nothing special but they’re not rude or anything. Just kind of take your order and give your food, nothing wrong with that though I guess. I’ve ordered a burrito from here and thought it was a little overpriced for the quality. Almost $ 8 for a burrito that is mostly all rice. Today I went again and got their taco plate. The tacos looked pretty similar to taco bell tacos with a lot more cheese, and tasted that way too lol. The beans and rice are pretty good though. So pretty much this place is just«ok» to me. Nothing too special about it but nothing really wrong with it either. Good place to switch things up every once in awhile.

This is my favorite place in Rodeo lol. Considering it’s only but so big. I love their burritos, especially their prawn burrito, the prawns are HUGE! So delicious and all authentic Mexican food! Their wet burritos are also really good!!! I always have to stop by here if I’m in the area. Try them. Oohhh yeah and GREAT customer service too!

I went here on a Thursday afternoon with a group of coworkers. The place is like a taqueria in which you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. The food is mediocre. The portion size is huge while the price is quite cheap. One thing that was appalling is how they microwave some of their food. Other than that, the chips and salsa was up to par. I ordered chicken enchiladas which was good enough to finish more than half my plate. The rice, however, was a bit bland. Because of the above, I gave this place 3 stars. I’m sure there’s a better Mexican food place than this one, but it doesn’t hurt to give this place a try.

My family and I have come here on and off for years and it’s our go to for Mexican food when we don’t feel like cooking! I ordered the ’”super” vegetarian burrito which had rice, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, re-fried beans… I think that was it?(I didn’t get cheese) Even though I was really hungry, the burrito was difficult to finish because of how much they pack in there. The quality and quantity is definitely worth the price which I believe was 5.75? I also ordered the large«plain» quesadilla and split it. I recently started eating quesadillas again after not eating them for almost five years and I gotta say, what happened to quesadillas??? Every restaurant I’ve tried has strange ones that I can’t believe I ever enjoyed. Disregard this; I think I just dislike contemporary quesadillas. And we got chips and salsa, too! The salsa was pretty watery, but I don’t remember the past instances of salsa being this watery, so maybe it was a one time thing. I DO like the chips but I don’t know how to describe them without me sounding like I don’t? The taste reminds me of gasoline but that is probably from a strange connotation I created a looong time ago. So disregard that comparison as well… The salsa wasn’t spicy but then again I ate the«mild» kind, but I was expecting some kind of kick. TLDR; The quality of food is consistent and I would recommend this place for anyone in the East Bay. The people that own it and work there are nice! And the pictures in the restaurant and the overall interior design is tops.
