Belk

I love Belks department store. I love it when it was Parisian too! This store has very helpful associates. I return some boots and a clothing item, and had no problems.
It is a very small store compared to most belks. So the selection is not as great. It seems to cater mostly to working people.
There are generally great sales, especially on household items. So check those out.

This place is under construction. Apparently they were remodeling and everything was pretty much in chaos, therefore, it was difficult to sum up overall. Belk’s IS my fifty-​something, super trendy aunt’s favorite store. She is always rocking some neon magenta cardigan sets with leopard pants, etc. She raves about it every time she visits us in St. Louis. For me, however, not so much.
I’m at that awkward size… 14. I’m not quite big enough for plus size and too big for most women’s size large. I couldn’t find anything size or style appropriate for a 30-​something. Most of these clothes were better for women a little… older. Not that it wasn’t cute, it was, just not for me.
On the up and up, they did have a great selection of handbags, jewelry and shoes. I bought a pair of super cheap restaurant crocs. They were also featuring a Yellow Box sale. Yellow Box make those super comfy flippy floppies with the black foam bottoms and the funky straps. I’ll check it out again, for sure.
