I love this place. It’s local and not a chain. I recently had an excellent Eggs Benedict and their new American Fries(they leave the skin on the taters). The staff is always friendly and it’s always clean. However, the food can be hit and miss. Especially for the price. I had a fish sandwich there once $ 8-$ 9? I wish I would have gotten a picture. It was pathetic. A square of fish on a cheap bun. It should have at least been a filet. Something better than I could get at McDonald’s. Culver’s tries harder on their fish sandwich! And it’s cheaper. Anyway sometimes restaurant owners don’t see what the public sees.

Pretty happy with this find on the way back from Lake Maria State Park. It was conveniently on the way back to Minneapolis and close to Albertville Outlets if you feel like doing a little shopping too. The diner is cute. Modern touches but all in all has an old neighborhood feel. They’re known for their Minne pies or deep fried pies. They currently have two varieties: minnepumpkin and minneapple, both of which are AMAZING. I don’t usually like apple pies, deep fried or not, but the apples are amazingly tender and perfectly spiced. They really know how to make the best flaky crust to wrap around it, deep fried, with some vanilla ice cream, it may set you back more than you’d like($ 6) but it’s delicious! Definitely worth the order. We also ordered the chicken gyro and the liver and onions. I didn’t try the gyro but the liver and onion were good. The liver was cut thin enough that it was tender but also meant that it didn’t taste as filling or satisfying. The onions and bacon laid on top were perfectly made though and were a great add to the liver. For the sides I got the mashed potatoes and the mac n’ cheese — healthiest meal ever! The potatoes were good but were slightly dry and could’ve used more garlic and depth of flavor. The mac n’ cheese was unique but way too salty. The cheese was real, penne was cooked to the right consistency, but the strange stuffing-like topping made the entire side taste more like overly salted stuffing. The dessert saved it all! The service was good, comfortable place to relax. A little on the pricier side for a diner type of place, but all in all, no complaints! Will be back when I’m out that way again!

The hottest was nice, waiter was ok. Order: American Skillet, w/bacon. Cinnamon roll, fruit cup. The American Skillet was ok at best, I could have went to Burger King. Fruit cup: a depressing mess. Cinnamon roll: clearly made off site and is not fresh. Irish Skillet: forgettable, could have got a breakfast sandwich at Starbucks. Hollandaise Sauce– greasy mess Orange Juice: tang Apple Pie: not famous at all. I was very disappointed in the entire meal. I will not be back.

Stopped here for breakfast on a weekday morning with the wife. Pancakes, sausage links and toast were all delicious, and just unique enough to stand out from the usual Denny’s /Perkins etc. Decent portions. Friendly service.

Really wanted to have a great experience, but the food was slow and average. The waitress was kind, but really needs more training. She didn’t clear salad plate though it was at the end of the table and seemed to ignore us as she served my husband’s meal to another customer(who cam in after us), then brought my husband’s meal back to the kitchen, and 5 minutes later brought both our meals out. Could be the kitchen was slow, as well. Hard to know. I really wanted some baklava or apple pie, but the waitress never asked. By the time she finally brought the check we were so ready to be done there. Sorry. Won’t be back.

It’s Saturday morning, 9:30, and the place is packed. My wife and I met another couple for breakfast. The other couple comes here often. It was our first time. It was about a ten minute wait for our table, which was not bad at all. It appeared that the entire crew was hustling to turn the tables quickly. Our waitress was great. She knew the menu well. She was very attentive and efficient. Topping off coffees, clearing plates. A true professional. The food took quite some time to come out. We had good company, and it gave us time to chat, so it was no inconvenience to us. The food eventually came out, and was worth the wait. Great portion sizes, and we’ll prepared. I had a Greek skillet, which was an interesting twist to a classic breakfast dish. The omelets were enormous. Nicely done, we will definitely be back.

It doesn’t matter how good your food is. If you’re service sucks, it’s a one star in my book. My opinions is if you hate your job, find a different one.

One of the best priced and executed meals in along time. You have got to leave room for the apple pie and cinnamon ice cream. I had the gyro.

Excellent food and good service. Their gyros had excellent flavor, the gourmet Mac and cheese is a must and their prime rib sandwich had a great flavor. Too bad we were too full to try their homemade deep fried pies! Atmosphere is cozy and would highly recommend this place if you are driving through.

A GREAT Rogers restaurant. Friendly staff, great food, and prices are more than fair. AND… it’s family owned! Highly recommend stopping in!

I’m a fan. I’ve been here on numerous occasions and have met others here for breakfast and lunch. I’ve never been disappointed by the service or the food. I’ve found the service friendly. The food — whether it’s been an omelet, a sandwich, onion rings, their famous apple pie, burger, malt, or gyro — has been excellent. Whatever you eat, save room for their fried apple pie. It’s what they’re known for and it’s delicious. Fried and dusted with cinnamon and served with ice cream — yum, yum. I highly recommend any of their Greek offerings.

Went there for a late lunch. Staff were mostly starting to take lunch breaks. However, no problem getting seated, server was attentive, and a few other people came to check on us. My daughter got a burger, I had a small salad, we had the award winning fried apple pie. All were good, atmosphere made me feel good, food was cooked well, will go back there if I am back this way.

Horrible service. Waited forever after getting served. The food was great. We had Greek salad with gyro meat and a tuna melt. The salad was the last arrive at table!!! Good thing it was delish. We didn’t want to wait any longer so no pie. So torn if we will come back– food was good. Worst service. It was not that busy.

Up early one Sunday, we decided to checkout some out some local digs that are new to us. We Unilocaled Minne’s Dinner and put it on the short list of places to try. Minne’s Dinner is solid. Good food, Service, and reasonable prices. So far we have only had breakfast, looking forward to trying other meals there.

I love this place. The service is always so friendly and prompt. They have obviously picked a great group of servers to work. The food is amazing. The combinations they put together are always outstanding and their dessert are THEBEST around.

Christmas Eve morning breakfast with my daughter. This is a Christmas tradition with us believe it or not and I decided to try this little place out in Rogers that I had heard some good things about. Home run x10! This place is known for the little apple pies that they sell a the State Fair. Now it was 7:30 in the am and Christmas eve day or not I was not going to start the day with apple pie. As much as my 8 year old daughter tried to convince me it was a great idea that Santa approved of. They are apple pies that are deep-fried so it was temping. I opted for the super healthy Biscuits and Gravy! My god these were fantastic. I have a couple of favorite places around for this breakfast classic but I now have a new #1! The biscuits were very good and the gravy had a bunch of flavor going on all over the plate. Served with hash browns and 3 eggs it is way to much food. Save the hash browns for later! My daughter had simple bacon and eggs and the eggs were nicely done(they’re eggs, not rocket science but not always as easy as it seems) and the bacon was really good. They have a full diner menu, very good and I can’t wait to go back for lunch and try a Apple Pie! Now add to it my favorite Thai place is just down the street I’ll maybe have pie and Thai! Yummy! KT
