I’ve used their services two times now. First time the lady helped me and was rather unfriendly, which I didn’t think too much of, everyone can have a bad day. I was trying to use their services recently. I was running behind, got there later than intended and it was a little more than 5 mins until closing. As soon as I’m about to walk in I hear the door lock. I check to make sure it is locked, and sure enough, it is. I wait outside for a second and the lady comes out(different person than last time) to leave and go home. I ask her what time they close and she says 6 o’clock and then says rather glibly, sorry. I understand wanting to leave work right on time, and maybe being a bit annoyed with a customer who might keep you over a few minutes, but as a place that’s supposed to serve customers, you might actually want to SERVE customers. I will never go use their services again and go out of my way to tell other people not to use their services either. I’ve worked in plenty of customer service jobs, and yes, nobody likes the person who comes in last minute right before you close, but as a business, you still have to serve them.

Can’t answer the phone! Just drive there only to be told we can’t help you! Superb in not helping your needs! Boo. Waste of time. Got there and there are 3 employees. So none of you could answer the phone while I called 3 times to make sure you had the services I need?

I’d say 3.5 stars. Punctuality is important to me. It’s now 9:30am and the sign says open at 9. Perhaps there was a change in hours? If so, they needed to change the posting and change the website. I’m going to be late to work now :-/

Stopped by to get livescan fingerprinting done for a volunteer position, today. The person who assisted me was rather dour, didn’t smile and was somewhat unresponsive to a concern I’d raised about the receipt. Not a big deal, but I was certainly not impressed by the service. I’m a real stickler for good customer care(hard to find, anymore), but I realize that all of us have good days and bad days and that I’m not always going to get service that thrills me. When I got the email survey asking about my experience, I mentioned I wasn’t terribly happy. I was just trying to offer some honest feedback. What happened next was unexpected. Within minutes I got an email apologizing for my less-than-wonderful experience and informing me that my fee had been refunded to my credit card. This really was unnecessary, but clearly shows that the owners of this business care a great deal about doing a good job for folks and having happy, satisfied customers. I think it was actually quite generous of them to give me my money back, and I felt compelled to write a positive review, as a result. Other businesses could learn from this lesson in how to turn less-than-stellar customer experiences into wins for both the business and the customer. Well done, Ameriprints!
