A few words could sum up my review: I LOVEBLACKPEPPERCHICKEN!!! But Unilocal won’t let me write such a short review… So I will elaborate. I always get mine to go. Put a nice layer of rice down and then LOADUP the rest of the container with BPC. Of course they frown upon you just getting one item… Not sure why, but it’s the best thing there, and it’s all I want! Tried the BPC at the armuchee Chef Chen and it’s not the same. Riverbend location is the bomb!

Excellent well prepared food. Wide variety including sushi. Clean and very good service. I always eat here when in town on business.

I only eat here for lunch take out, so I can’t speak as to the service, but the ladies at the counter have always been very nice. I once saw a little kid put his hands all in the jello, but they were very quick to remove the tainted food and replace it. This is my favorite lunch spot for work as I can get in, get out quickly, not spend too much, and still have hot food and vegetables. Their green beans are great, I always get some lo mein noodles, and everything else I’ve tried is very satisfactory though nothing really stands out. They could use a few more vegetable options.

Just your average Chinese buffet. The workers are really nice and my family loves coming here for lunches.

I’ve went to this restaurant several times and 9 out of 10 times the food was cold and had been sitting out a few times but the last time I went there was a fly in my food. My food was just taken from the bar, and when I went to get a bite I lucky saw the fly in the food.

I’m a big fan of Chinese buffets in general, and I’ve been to a few great ones and a few mediocre once. However, I think Chen Chen was the worst. The spring rolls were good, the fried rice and lo mein were passable but the rest of the food was questionable(at best). The sesame chicken was too hard to chew, the broccoli chicken was spongy and nothing tasted good. Halfway through the meal I noticed the cashier and a waitress making crab rangoon at another table. The cashier rang up at least four customers and never washed her hands before going back to fold more wontons. She wasn’t wearing gloves or using hand sanitizer so that was the end for me. If they’re willing to do that in front of customers I wonder how bad it is in the kitchen…

Typical Chinese buffet — not bad, but not worth going out of your way for. The dishes were fresh and the staff was very friendly, but there wasn’t anything particularly exciting on offer other than some pretty tasty crab rangoon.

Large buffet that could have used a few more veggie dishes. Food was not bad, not great. But the price tells the story. Cheap eats. $ 6.50, all you can eat on a Sunday, including sushi. Employees smiled only once that I observed. Left you feeling a little unwelcome and ready to leave soon after arriving.

Small Buffet, Friendly staff, fresh food, plus good(simple) sushi all at one buffet price. They kept my glass full and took away used plates promptly.

A small, simple Chinese buffet restaurant located adjacent to new shopping area just off Turner McCall Blvd. that includes Ross, T.J. Maxx and Barnes and Noble. Not the best, but pretty good value for the price(cheap). Lunch and dinner buffets include variety of chicken dishes(sesame, pepper, General Tso, kung pao, etc.) with beef selections and some pork. modest selection of veggies including sauteed green beans and bruccoli. Soups offered too. Dessert table has good fresh fruit and small ice cream containers. All-you-can-eat lunch buffet is $ 5.35, dinner $ 7.35, one dollar more on Fri-Sat when menu includes crab legs. Carry-out available. Menu says sushi is available, but we’ve tried it. Otherwise, quick, inexpensive and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the quality, variety and freshness of the food.
