The music selection is a bit off for a family restaurant, and yeah it could use a deep clean but the food is pretty decent. If you like the Spinach Alfredo pizza though, have it made fresh and brought to your table — it’s amazing.

Usually have a decent experience at CiCi’s restaurants, but I really did not enjoy the inappropriate music selection played over the speakers. I mainly tuned it out until I started hearing some music I don’t think should be played in mixed company. Very limited pizza selection on the buffet. Also, something has changed about the salad dressing and my mom mentioned that she missed the old salad dressing.

Look, let’s get real. When you’re paying about $ 5 for all the pizza you can eat, you really can’t expect it to be all that great — and it isn’t. The staff here couldn’t be friendlier or more eager to please, and for that reason the joint merits three stars instead of two. I might just be hitting Cici’s at the wrong time of day, but it certainly feels as if I always come in when there are plenty of pies out but very few of them fresh. Or, it could just be that the ultra cheap ingredients only give off apparent freshness for about ten seconds before they start to congeal. My own weakness here is that delightful concoction known as the Bacon Ranch Pizza. Oh my God. It’s not good for me, and it’s not even that *good* period, but I could absolutely eat my own body weight in that crap, whereas popular novelties like Macaroni and Cheese Pizza might sound like fun, but taste exactly how they sound, which is kinda yucky. Cici’s remains a very occasional indulgence — when I only have about $ 6 and have just finished a long run and absolutely NEED to indulge a ridiculous amount of carbs and fat RIGHTFREAKINGNOW, it’ll be my go-to dirty little secret.

I try to reserve my 4 and 5 star reviews for places that really stand out, and this is one of those places. It’s a typical Cici’s in most respects, with good deals on both the pizza buffet and the takeout(On Tuesdays, two people can dine at the pizza buffet with 2 drinks for $ 9.99 — not a bad deal). You have to keep in mind that the food is a good deal, but is nothing fancy whatsoever. A great place for you and some colleagues to go to lunch, for example, but not a great place to take really important clients. The people at this Cici’s are the really awesome part, though. If you don’t see your favorite pizza on the buffet, just let them know and they’ll make a special one for you and deliver it to your table. Always friendly, talkative, and smiling. I’ve been to other Cici’s franchises up north, and they have a much more unfriendly vibe than this place. In sum, the food is pretty good and the southern hospitality-meets-inexpensive-pizza makes this place a sure bet.

When my co-workers first mentioned going to Cici’s, I balked at the idea. Realizing I needed to save money, though, I relented.(My lunch was less than $ 4!) I actually really liked the spinach pizza, and my favorite was the macaroni and cheese, which I’m sure is completely devoid of any healthy nutrients. I was a little concerned with the cleanliness of the restaurant, but all in all, I had a good lunch in good company.
