I stayed there for business. The hotel is clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. The hotel is need of renovation. It is clearly dated compared to the newer facilities. Everything about the hotel is dated and in serious need to updating.

Just my opinion but the previous reviews seen overly harsh, so much so I almost cancelled my reservation after reading them. I’m glad I did not. For my money I found the hotel clean appropriately apportioned and the staff very helpful. The duvet and towels were clean the breakfast hot and attended yo stall, the location central snd the price fair compsre the Hawthorn suites at $ 109.00/night more and nearby Atlanta for those who feel they are higher class don’t forget parking is free and the hotel gets my five star vote for past unfair ratings and because they are getting sleep number beds in two weeks, the staff makes the final vote of approval for me, I will stay again

I have to downgrade this hotel because it appears to be falling into disrepair. Despite complaints, various parts of the hotel work less often, such as the air conditioner. The wi-fi bandwidth is a joke. Coffee is often cold. Breakfast is not edible. On the very low end for Hampton. I stay here because it’s a convenient place but that’s about to end. Country Inn is just down the street and is a much better value.

As a Diamond Club member, I stay at Hamptons quite frequently. To be honest, this one was the worst. Check in experience was OK except they gave me a smoker’s room. They said nothing about it until I walked in the room. The stink knocked me backwards, smelled like a combination of stale tobacco, mildew and unwiped ass. And I booked this thing two months in advance. So I go down and bitch, they give me another room. Another smokers room, except this one didn’t smell as bad. I complain and they tell me they have no other rooms… did I say I booked this two months in advance? My profile clearly says«No Smoking». Moving on, it seems like everything is busted; ice machine — busted, washing machine — busted, faucet on sink — busted, phone — busted. You get the idea. Breakfast is lame with cheap fruit from Aldi’s, fluorescent orange eggs, pasty biscuits and sausage gravey… breakfast was never Hamptons strong suit anyway. But the bottom line is this place stinks, I mean from an odor standpoint it stinks. The room smells, the hallway smells, the vending area smells, the lobby smells. This place is a dump, I would never come back. I’ll stay in the LaQuinta across the street before I come back in here.

About the worst Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of them being a Diamond level member. They don’t give out bottled water or anything else when you check in because they’re always«out.» The breakfast today consisted of bacon, biscuits, oatmeal, some poor fruit, and three types of dry cereal. The breakfast bags consists of a muffin, breakfast bar, breath mints, and an apple — no water. The sink wouldn’t work and the maintenance staff said it couldn’t be fixed.

You know the drill. It’s a Hampton Inn — this particular one is located up a steep hill and is surrounded by other similar hotels. Bonus points — right down the hill is a liquor store! They had quick check in and plenty of coffee and tea in the lobby at night(as well as some cookies!). They also have a pretty nice looking pool that no one was using. Rooms were clean and decent although the tube TV was like kicking it old school. Bathroom was good — the curved curtain rod so you have more room, coffee maker, and hair dryer were all present. The bed is the Hilton bed — verrrrry nice and comfy! The wake up call was right on time too. And the breakfast in the AM was nice — fresh fruits, milk, cereals, hard boiled eggs, sausage, omlettes, etc. You know Hampton Inns — they are all the same and this one is A-OK. I just wish the Hampton chain would start doing the Manager’s reception like Embassy Suites — nothing like a happy hour to get your evening off to a good start!
