What a great place!!! Step back into the ‘60s and ‘70s. Fun fabulous décor, music and plenty of seating. The cashier, hostess and bus boy was super friendly. We enjoyed her hospitality. I had the BLT sandwich with pasta salad. Yummy. He had pimento and bacon sandwich and potato salad. And we both had a jam bar. Omg. Like a chess bar but bigger and equally delicious. Love this place. Cannot wait to go back. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Fast service and delicious sandwiches! I ordered the drew berry, dirty chips, and one of their desserts. Great food. Finished the whole plate!

This is my second time at Jamwich and I’m officially addicted. The vibe is very retro, relaxed with a great mix of eclectic music playing in the background. The food is phenomenal! I’ve tried both the tomato basil soup and the Dirty Mouth South, and loved every bite. The blend of jams with hot melted cheese and sliced meats is just downright tasty. You can tell the owners really take pride in cooking and preparing the food; and in the way they treat their customers. It’s a great place to have a relaxing, scrumptious lunch while strolling through downtown Rome.

Cute eclectic décor, tasty food, nice staff. BUT– Ridiculously high prices for the quantity you get. Got a salad and expected this to be a meal size… Felt more like a side salad. Either give more or reduce prices.

I’d heard good things about Jamwich, do I gave it a shot. On the negative side, there were wobbly tables and chairs and it took a bit too long to get our sandwiches. I got the Drew Berry. It was decent, but need a bit more meat for the price. The potato salad was tasty and the staff friendly. I will go back, but expect more next time. You certainly get more bang for the buck at Firehouse or Publix.

My husband and I went here for lunch. They were out of what my husband wanted so he ordered a BLT I ordered the Drewberry. My husband also ordered a PBJ thinking he would eat it if he didn’t like the BLT. When the young man brought our food to the table he said«well I don’t see the little one» «who gets the PBJ». I told him that we ordered it in case we didn’t like our other order and I asked if he needed any more information before he could give us our order. I found this very irritating everyone in the restaurant looked at us when he made his statement. Why should a waiter question the food brought to a table? The lady at the counter had already told him who ordered what. We found the food to be eatable. Probably will never go back.

I’ve had the Jammit Bobby and the Dewberry and this is hands down up there with the top sandwiches in the area. I have never had a bad experience with the staff up front and restaurant’s should take note of the difference between being served by someone with enthusiasm and joy vs someone with just smile.

Gave it a try. It was weird décor inside but cool. The Sandwhich I had was the cheese Sandwhich with tomato jelly, it was good. The prices were a bit higher than what they should be. I may have to give it another try.

I am going to give this place four stars. The food was very good. But just straight up, I’m not going to pay that much for a sandwich and I will probably never go back. This sandwich shop serves Boar’s Head meats which is premium quality, obviously, but for a sandwich, and I am not talking a sub, I am talking sandwich bread, is not going to cut it for me at like eight dollars. I left hungry… but it was good food. But was like finger food or an hors-d’œuvre… And water is thirty cents… I am being really, really generous with those four stars because I thought the place was really cool. This restaurant uses the Square credit card reader system so be prepared for that.

Just had my first Jamwich experience for lunch yesterday. It was great! I had the Reuben, but I can’t wait to go back to try other options. The atmosphere is great with a lot of cool, quirky decorations. The food was delicious! I loved both the sandwich and the dirty chips. I also have to give particular props to Jamwich for having Mexican Coke and other real-sugar sodas. Great choice! This is a fantastic place to stop for lunch. I will definitely be back for more. I just wish they were open for dinner!

I’m stationed over in California and when I got home my mother suggested this place to me. Always a new food seeker, I just had to go and try it out. I was floored at how amazing the food was, and nothing but southern hospitality from the time we arrived till we left. Go eat here please! Maybe I can take a sandwich back west with me.

Great lunch place, outstanding, creative sandwiches. I’ve had the coconut cake and the potato salad too, and both tasted like they came from the supermarket. Only complaint in what is otherwise a new favorite. Suggestion to owner: ditch the sides unless someone orders them, and make ‘em homemade. The sandwiches can stand alone!
