Great place for some good craft beer. Their menu has changed, not sure if they brought in a different chef but the food is much better then it use to be. Their own brews are pretty good too, as well as a great rotating selection of other breweries.

The BBC has become my go to place for an off the wall beer, great apps and burgers. They always have a great selection of IPAs and the apps are better than most other places. The burgers… some of my favorites. The service is friendly and knowledgeable of the beer pairings. For the selection, service and locality to me. Very hard to beat. Especially since I consider the table to the left my personal seat whenever I go. «So don’t be in it when I get there’

Food is absolutely amazing here. I’m a huge food critic and I must say we had a fair share of appetizers. We tasted the tavern chips, buffalo chicken risotto bites, fried mozzarella, the NYC pretzel, the loaded fries for apps, and for dinner I had the Shepard’s pie. Everything was delicious. Especially the fried chips! That was probably my favorite. I will definitely come here again. Music is more along the lines of rock, but all around cool atmosphere. Manager Michael Jordan was great too!

My husband and I stopped in here for a bite and a refreshment. We were pleasantly surprised with the food, drinks, and service we received at Brownstone Brewing Company and we will be sure to return here. Our waitress Aprilrose was great, she was attentive, friendly, and paced our food and drinks just right– so we weren’t rushed, but didn’t feel stuck waiting for every course either. Stop by and check it out.

Not exactly local to me and the crowd can be hit or miss as well as the menu… As well as the service… The beers don’t impress me either. Everything here at brownstone sorta gives me that«meh» feeling. I had a good quesadilla once, and an IPA that was good too… But that’s the long list of my good experiences there, every other time, it’s just so obvious it could be so much more. Don’t hate it, don’t love it, never make it a point to go. Never refuse if someone else wants to. But I sorta feel like I’m being dragged when I do go, and for that reason, it gets a lousy rating. 2.5 stars. Make it 3 for posterity.

Great food, good tap, nice atmosphere. The only thing keeping that 5th star off is the prices. They used to have a rewards program that was perfect to offset the cost [and had me coming through the door three times a month or more] but since they got rid of it, I find myself shying away. Still, the wings are A+ and the home brew is tasty.

We went to visit my boyfriend’s sister in Long Island for a fair and decided to come here for dinner. Apparently this place is also a brewery but I can’t comment on that because I have a beer allergy so I only tried their food. We shared the fried chicken and it comes with 2 side dishes typical bar food options like fries, mashed potatoes, rice etc we opted for grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. The portions here are very big, my boyfriend and I shared and we still had leftovers for a midnight snack. The food was delicious: the chicken was perfectly breaded and seasoned and the grilled veggies were tasty especially the peppers, luckily my boyfriend let me have most of them. While the fried chicken was great the mashed potatoes here are AMAZING. They are the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, they’re the perfect creamy texture and the taste is just amazing. My boyfriend and I could not stop eating them it was the first thing we finished. The staff here are friendly, they will answer any questions you have and they are knowledgeable about the menu. On top of that service was pretty quick.

Been here a bunch of times. It’s a little hidden if you’re not familiar with the area. Great beer and service. The people are very knowledgeable and informative about the beer. It’s a small place but they do have some outside space for you to stand and drink. Must try brewery. I will definitely be back.

Food was pretty good and the specials for football weren’t bad but the service was just horrendous. We waited half an hour to get a waiter to our table(it was not crowded at all). The tables next to us got waiters, we did not. SO eventually we just went to the bar to order our food and drinks. The beer we got was piss warm. When we asked for different beer it was only slightly colder. We got the food but it didn’t come with plates, napkins, silverware, etc. TV’s were big and they had all the games on so that was nice at least.

Definitely not a brewery. Stopped in going through town. Surprised how many good reviews this place has. Food was deep fried bar food. Not bad but just under good. They had 2 house beers on tap. An ipa and a blonde. The blonde was tasteless and flat. Service was good. Friendly staff until exit. Not very professional to have a group of waitresses standing around hostess stand chatting it up and not even a thanks or good night. Also a very loud place. Definitely won’t be back.

Ok, lemme start this review out by stating the fact(fact!) that this joint is not a brewery. Ok, ok, their name doesn’t technically say that they’re a brewery… alright you sea lawyers… whatever. Anyhoo, I didnt see any beer being brewed. Ok, I’ll let that one slide. Ok, so, upon being asked(after a careful review of the menu and table top advertisements… which didn’t list any beers) what beers they have, first the waitress tells me to look at the bar… then…fortunately(i think need glasses…) she just gave me her cheat sheet. I had a few good beers. Then I ordered a burger. Needless to say, the food and drinks were awesome. The horseradish was a great addition to the burger i selected(I forgot it’s name). The deceptive name of the joint really chapped me a bit.

Very friendly bartender who not only was pretty but actually exhibited an abundance of personality which was a bonus. Add good beer, nice bar(other than the strange placement of the taps dead center which takes away seating) and a steak sandwich that was very good make this a place to visit.

First time here. Food was excellent, service was too. I got the bacon cheeseburger with half FF half onion rings. The onion ring dipping sauce was excellent. Will be back.

Came for lunch recently. We both ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Wrap & fries were very good but cole slaw wasn’t, it had an off/not fresh taste to it. They had an excellent selection of tap beer but we couldn’t indulge because we had to go back to work. Menu consisted of your typical pub grub. Lots of TV’s throughout the entire restaurant. Waitress was friendly.

Place does what it does really well. Small but very serviceable beer menu… Just please take bud and coors off the board of microbrews. They don’t deserve to be there. Wings were good. Decent size good flavor(please add a hotter version) and cooked well. Burgers very juicy and tasty. sliced steak sandwich also tender and lean. Saw some Complaints on service herr on Unilocal. Our server knew the beer was pleasant and was extremely proficient. Will definitely go back

Stopped in for a few beers. The bar was full so we were standing off to the side. It did seem like we were in every body’s way. I don’t think they actually brew beers here. Went on a Sunday. There are plenty of TVs to watch football on. I want to go in for burgers next time.

Oh Brownstone… why ya gotta make this so difficult on me? Here’s the thing… we come here all the time. We’ve got the frequent diner card, we call the staff by name. The food is really pretty good. It’s not off-the-charts– amazing, but I do feel like, for a «brewery», the quality is up there. We’ve never ordered anything we didn’t enjoy… how’s that? Sufficiently complimentary? The problem, honestly, is the service. And I have pretty major guilt saying that… it’s not that the service is BAD, per sey… just, kind of, grumpy. They don’t seem to have a high turnover, it’s not like there is different waitstaff there all the time, we always have the same waiter and he always looks like he’d rather set his face on fire than spend another second in this restaurant. That said, the food is good. They always have pretty creative specials(wraps and paninis) and their sweet potato fries are killer with the maple dipping sauce — yum! I’ve requested salad in place of fries on days where I’m trying to be more health conscious and I love that instead of some wilted iceburg lettuce side salad with a rogue cherry tomato, I actually get a heaping pile of super fresh field greens with shredded carrot, purple onion and black olives. Different and delicious! The hummus is fantastic with the house toasted pita wedges. The soft pretzel is crazy delicious. And I have heard rumors that the grown-up-grilled-cheese might find you re-enacting Meg Ryan’s orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally. I cannot confirm or deny that. I’m forever ordering the chicken burger, which isn’t a grilled chicken breast on a bun like you might imagine. It’s actually ground chicken which seems to be mixed with some yummy spices, is covered in melted swiss and served on a nice, bulky, brioche roll. Impressive. I’ve also been known to get the cobb salad which is actually one of the better cobb salads I have gotten anywhere. They pile on the bacon, avocado and blue cheese crumbles and, once again, rather than crappy iceburg lettuce, it’s all loaded on top of a mountain of field greens. I just love me some field greens. The kids menu is decent, with a «grilled chicken» option that makes me feel slightly less guilty about letting my kid completely drown everything in ranch dressing. Skip the steamed vegetable though and let your kid splurge on those sweet potato fries. The limp, flavorless veggies have to be straight out of a frozen bag of Bird’s Eye, but those fries are not to be missed. They have some«Brownstone» brews, but I don’t recall trying any of them. The house wines are decent but the pour is absolutely pathetic. I’m not asking to be served a goblet of wine for $ 8 but they really need to rethink the mayyyybe 4oz joke pour that they offer up. So, I’m still conflicted. I wish there was a 3 ½ stars option. We do come here a ton, so we must really like it… and we do, we definitely do… but if they could just fix the staff morale somehow and maybe spare another ½ ounce of wine on that shabby pour, we might have something even better than what is already a pretty decent little joint in The ‘konkoma.
