I just found this place but it was amazing I got a spinach and feta quesidilla and loved t but my girlfriend got the Reuben quesidilla and I tried it, OMG it was the best thing I ever had you have to go here and try this

I’ve been regularly coming here for about 2 – 3 years and Ive never had a bad experience. The menu is endless, with every choice imaginable. Rare dishes that are hard to find at other restaurants such as chicken croquettes and chicken scampi (SO delicious) are available here. Every dish I’ve ever ordered has been fresh, tasted great, with plentiful portions. Prices are fair and reasonable. The wait staff is pretty consistent. Kristen is always there, always in a great mood, and always gives the best service. The water and bus boys do a great job as well. The restaurant is always clean with a nice atmosphere. Opt for this diner over Island Lake you’ll thank me.

I’m a big breakfast foodie and I am sad to say I didn’t love our breakfast. It seemed skimpy compared to our breakfast the day before (at a different establishment), the omelet was flat and the food seemed a bit oily and tasteless. While the food was a little boring, the staff was AWESOME. I’d give it a try again just because I loved everyone in the place.

Excellent breakfast! I had the eggs Benedict and they were delicious! Great family place and a clear pride of ownership. The server was so sweet and friendly. Will definitely be going back!

Went here a week ago for the very first time for dinner with my husband & my mom… Very clean, Owners & staff are very friendly & attentive… & the food was great !!! Everything was so very very fresh & they give you ALOT of food!!! We will definitely be going back again. Our server that night was Dawn & she was great !!!

Very bad. Avoid this place.
Ordered a Turkey Burger, it completely lacked seasoning and the texture seemed as if it was simply ground turkey mashed on a skillet. Worst I’ve ever tasted.
Salad was very basic and the dressing was pre-​packaged dressing packets of an unfamiliar brand. Not good. I have never seen that at a NY diner, only in the midwest.
The soup tasted like it came out of a can and my daughter’s Mac and Cheese was obviously from a box.
I think this diner is shoved into old rectangular office space, so they have a single toilet, meaning one person goes at a time (yeah really). Good luck if you go with kids who need to use the bathroom. If you gave to go, be prepared to wait in line. Oh and try to sit near the front of the restaurant otherwise you’ll be smelling the bathroom during your entire meal and people waiting in line will be standing over you watching you eat.
I will never return.

Great service, very clean bathrooms and surprisingly delicious food. Had the veggie quesadilla on whole wheat tortilla. Expected a blander experience. But was pleasantly surprised by flavorful explosion. Sweet potato fries were excellent too. In a strip mall a little hidden but not a huge drawback. Very kid-​friendly.

My boyfriend and I have gone to this diner a few times and each time the owner (i think the older man is the owner) and wait staff are genuinely nice and friendly. They seat us at the same booth most times and seem to have a good sense of humor because they joke about it being «our booth» which makes us feel even more welcome. I have no complaints about the food and the service is quick. Never leave you thirsty for refills. My boyfriend usually orders the specials which he always likes and by the end he is too stuffed for the free dessert so they package it up for us to take home. I always know I can go here especially if I want crispy bacon… hint…ask for it deep fried!

We had all the breakfast specials!!! pancakes, eggs… french toast… all great portions and reasonable. Our server Ally was great! Owner friendly and accomodating!

We eaten here several times, most recently on a Friday night with another family. We called to see how long the wait would be for a party of 8 and the hostess said she could hold a table for us. The service when we arrived continued to be as amazing as when we called! The food was great as well. I’d definitely recommend the Lake Ronkonkoma Diner anytime you’re in the area looking for a diner!

This place is hidden, back set in a strip mall and it took me time to stumble across it, but Im glad I did. It is always empty, but not for lack of good food or service. Havent had a bad experience yet, always leave happy. Great yogurt sauce and a really nice staff. Family owned.

Super-​friendly service. I came in early on Christmas-​Eve and the staff greeted us with a smile and always kept the coffee coming. I ordered the eggs and toast which were good. Classic dinner style.

Came in the day after Christmas with my fiancé and Steven, our server, was fantastic. The menu covers all your Long Island choices like breakfast to pasta to steak to wraps. We both chose corned beef hash with eggs and a side of bacon. Portions were huge and the food was fantastic. I also saw a bunch of delicious pies on the way out. If only I had room. Again, ask for Steven if you can. He was so nice and efficient.

Had another visit, and ordered one of the specials stuffed sole. Stuffing had imitation crab and was tasty, the serving was enormous, however the fish wasn’t cooked all the way through, and by the time I discovered that, I already had had enough to eat, and took the leftover home and cooked it before putting it away. For the record I didn’t get any stomach symptoms so the fish wasn’t bad just not cooked through, what I did eat was tasty. the special came with dessert had the Boston Cream Pie, which you know is a cake, and here it is a dry cake. I think it is from «scratch» but pretty dry. and the filling was a type of frosting resembling pastry cream in flavor but not in texture and the top was chocolate frosting not ganache. Hubby enjoyed his linguine with clams. I may return one more time, and if I have dessert it will be fruit pie, shouldn’t be able to dry that out.
