IHOP

Today was the first time my husband and I dined here and were not happy with the service. I mean if your a waiter/​waitress it would behoove you to write down your tables order so as not to get it ALL wrong. Just saying. My tip reflected my service.

The Saturday crowd was daunting but that didn’t stop us from having a pleasant experience at this ihop. We ordered iced coffee which was nice. We then ordered 2 pancake combos, Nutella crepes and strawberry waffles which was tasty. Presentation was lacking but who cares when the food tasted great. The portions were huge for us Singaporeans so it would be both breakfast and lunch for us.

This one is good. Thank you for national pancake day. I got free butter milk pancake.

I have been to this IHOP a couple times and while it’s not my favorite but it’s not the worse either.
Food– I had French Toast with strawberries and bananas. Bananas were not ripe and it wasn’t the best french toast I’ve had. Not much flavor. My daughter had the chocolate chocolate chip stack. She loved them.
Location, yes the street/​block is a very weird setup and it makes finding parking ridiculous but I think they do what they can with it. I like that they have the PA system to make announcements a o I’d you’re waiting outside they can notify our party.
Service– have never had poor service. Again it’s a pretty small location and yes wait staff and patrons alike have to kind of wiggle pass each other bit staff is usually quick and professional. On this occasion my sever was Jas (z)mine. She was very sweet.
Cost– pretty average. I’d gauge it at about $ 35 for a party of 2 about a $ 5 tip included. It’s IHOP.

Hey for an IHOP … This one is great! My server Naquon (sp?) made all the difference! He is professional, takes his job seriously & was a joy! I ate like a pig but hey… It’s brunch so I’ll count it as 2 meals. Coffee was replaced instantly & served hot. Food was served quickly also hot! Definitely one of the best IHOP s

I’ve visited this IHOP many times, but today was awesome. When my sister and I walked through the door, we were immediately greeted and seated. It was a little crowded for a Tuesday morning, but I don’t mind a crowd. We both ordered The Split Decision which included two triangular pieces of French toast, two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs any way you like it (I chose scrambled egg w/​cheddar cheese and my sister had scrambled egg whites w/​cheddar cheese. The cheese was an extra $ 1.29), two slices of bacon and two pork links. This was only $ 10.49 per person and we got unlimited coffee for $ 2.79 per person. All together our meal was about $ 30. Everything tasted nice and fresh. My bacon was a little salty. When I told the waitress/​server she brought me fresh bacon without a problem. No questions nothing. I really appreciated that. Sometimes you go to these restaurants and the waiters make such a big deal when you have request. The waitress also checked on us from time to time to make sure we were alright. Parking is fair, depending on what day and time you go. Overall I enjoyed my visit.

I love IHOP! This Location is nice and clean. The bathroom smells like baby poo, but thankfully you cannot smell it in the dining area. Lol! Nice staff too, and food comes out hot and delicious.

I really dislike this ihop. The parking lot is very small and everything is just super congested.
There was a few times I have visited and got great service, but majority of the time it was really bad.
The food isn’t presented well. They are lazy when it comes to presentation. They just slap your food on a plate and serve you. I understand it gets busy, but it just doesnt make the experience enjoyable.
The waitresses always rush you out.
The crowd is very «unpleasant».
I would just stick to the Valley Stream location.

This IHOP is okay but like some of the others, they bring your pancakes almost raw. They look good but are too doughy. The other food is okay to good but the wait service and back ground music is not too good. Skip this place and order pancakes and the works elsewhere.

The service at this IHOP is excellent! Our server Jamilla was very nice, attentive and efficient. Our food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Coming from a place that doesn’t have an IHOP, we were very pleased with our experience!

This is probably my fave IHOP locations in NY. The wait time for seating is pretty quick, the seating area is fairly clean and the food is consistently good.

This is one of the best ihops I’ve been to.
1) The service is friendly
2) The service is attentive and quick.
3) The food is fresh
4) It place is clean!
Bonus tip, they are open 24 hrs Friday Saturday Sunday.

Friendly service and good food but this place always seems dingy and dirty to me
It beats Sherwood Diner in terms if taste and quality but be prepared to wait– long lines and gets pretty packed

I really enjoy the service staff whenever I am here, especially because it’s fun to laugh about things. My teenage son always asks the most inappropriate questions and I enjoy the responses. The best time to go is when it’s not busy so stay away Sunday mornings. There are some benches to wait when needed and parking too. I’ve noticed they also have some sort of call ahead or pick up service with a reserved parking spot near the entrance. Use the bathroom before you come-it’s small. The food is decent and the menu has become increasingly varied so it’s more than just pancakes all day. PS: it helps to tip well. Props to my recent servers, Nia & Angelica.

Customer service is improving here. They added a backup waitress incase you need further assistance. In addition, they have a quick survey to complete. On completion, you get a $ 5 dollar coupon towards your next order.
I had a steak omelette with spicy salsa on the side which made it taste great. Also, pancakes with apple topping added to a great experience.
Prices are reasonable here, and the store added 2 security guys to maintain heavy crowds.

This particular IHOP is the very first IHOP I’ve ever been to. The first time was in 1972 I was 6yrs old. And although a lot of things have changed (new owner, management and employees) I still enjoy eating here whenever I’m in the mood for pancakes.

I love IHOP… and sure, 4 stars might seem odd, but think of it in context: It’s an IHOP. And this IHOP has parking, good service, and the food that it’s known for. Early morning, upon arriving in NY, go figure that we end up here. This location is a staple of my life, going back to the hey days of waking up early to badger my parents into IHOP. It almost never worked, but that’s not going to stop me from trying.
Let’s step away from nostaglia and deal with the pancaked which were so tasty. I ordered the SIMPLE & FIT Blueberry Harvest Grain ‘N Nut Combo which basically means, egg beaters, and a lot of blueberries are put directly into the pancakes topped with bananas. Super tasty (plus I had a side of turkey sausage) and good service… you can’t really go wrong here (unless you’re not looking for IHOP, that is).

Great food for cheap! The ONLY iHop I’ve ever came in contact with, with the best food.

Now I’m no pancake lover LOL… yes I’m part of that small group of oddballs that don’t really like the fluffy cakes. But I do kinda think the harvest wheat is ok…

This is a brand new IHOP. The one that was here before burned down just about a year ago (January 8^th, 2011 way to start the year off). This IHOP has officially confirmed my strong dislike for this franchise pancake house.
I give this place 3 stars because it’s new and clean. We came here on New Years day. The stupid host kid told us the wait was 15 – 20 minutes and 45 minutes later we were seated.
Our waitress was pretty decent (although after she was done dropping off our meals she kind of just disappeared).
I first ordered the caramel hot chocolate. Oh my gawdddd. dEE-​effin– ahh-​mazing-​LisH! Get my jist? I sucked that son of gun down with the ultimate quickness!
The food was a different story. Oh it was so terrible. Even the pancakes. I’m not a fan of breakfast food to begin with so when you give me cheap shit it’s just that much worse. I got the eggnog pancakes with scrambled eggs and hash browns. The eggs tasted instant. The cheese tasted like Vegan cheese. The hash browns were edible, but the pancakes… well let’s stop right here. Isn’t this a «pancake house»? I was under the impression that the pancakes should be the best. I wouldn’t know because the few times I have gone to IHOP I never ordered pancakes. Well I was let down once again. The eggnog filling was pretty dam LegitAZballzz so I give credit where credit is needed, but the pancakes tasted like my dads Bisquiks. Yuckkk!
So after this trip I have decided IHOP Is just not my thing and it never will be. I won’t be returning to IHOP probably ever. The smell alone is enough to make me vomit, let alone the crappy ass food!
