I don’t think I’ve ever shopped at KMart before, but they had some things which I needed to stock my home up with, and I decided to minimize my shopping time by using KMart’s Buy Online /Pick up in Store option. Yeah… bad idea. 5 hours after putting in my order, I’ve moved on to other errands, and was next door in Lowes picking up another item I’d done the buy online & pick up option with. I download and open the KMart app on my phone, and the order isn’t found. OK — let me at least go inside and ask. The 4 women at the Customer Service desk look at me like something they’ve found on the bottom of their shoe for having the temerity to interrupt their discussion. One of them manages to detach herself from her conversation and pulls up my order on her computer, and languidly answers that the products haven’t been picked yet and I should wait for the email. I look around… the store is empty. These 4 obviously have enough time to be shooting the breeze, but the desultory nature of the answer convinces me that arguing is going to have no positive outcome. The next day I finally get a phone call stating that my item is ready for pickup, but is short 2 inventory items. This time there’s someone at Customer Service who is willing to help, and she confirms that the store’s inventory is in fact short by going to the shelf and confirming. Unfortunately, the order seems to have been mishandled in such a way that I can’t do the in-car pickup, so I head back in to Customer Service and finally get what I’d needed the day before. It’s 2015 — online orders shouldn’t take 18 hours to fulfill. There are many better retail options out there.

If it’s a toss up between Walmart and K — Mart for savings I choose Walmart but when I don’t want to wait in insane lines and need a household item, I come here. The staff is friendly and professional. Shop You Way Rewards always saves you money. They have great Holiday items here. Always a great selection of Halloween costumes and Christmas décor. I usually shop for my daughter’s costume, but this year I purchased a costume for $ 9.99. Originally $ 20 which still isn’t bad. I enjoy coming here and love the savings. The store is clean and parking is ample.

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve gone to this location at least 3 — 4 times within the last 6 months. The overall customer service leaves little to be desired. On one of the visits I asked one of their customer service reps for help with a specific item, she said she’d be back with the item, I waited & waited only to go to the front to find her clowning with a cluster 4 – 5 cashiers. Loud & obnoxiously unprofessional besides looking«ratchet» already. But then again, it’s retail right, should we expect more? When I spoke to 1 of the supervisors he assured me that we should in fact expect more. On a separate comment the entire store stinks like burnt onions as there is a Nathan’s mini restaurant there WITHOUT proper ventilation, so you & your clothing item leave with that stench. Oh one last morsel, their restroom facilities called, and they want their janitor back; apparently someone is slacking.

Pretty decent location. Surprisingly cleaner than I remember it being. They are doing renovations on the outside. Quiet on a Friday which is good and it’s 2 hours before closing. Not sure if it’s a fluke so I’ll come back to update my review but for now it’s 3 solid stars.
