One of the better Jimmy John’s around. I stop here for lunch and they are always fast(+1 for having a drive up) and the sandwiches are fresh. I am not sure what more you can ask for from a franchise sandwich shop; fresh sandwiches, fast services, clean restaurant.

Went back and gave another shot this time bread was fresh right out of oven and great. I think maybe the last time they were just having a slow day and didn’t realize the bread had gotten hard. I am happy the owner contacted me and asked me to try again because it was good and I will be going back to going like I was once a week again

I’ve been hearing bad reviews lately from this location and have given the best thought for this place but have to say had to wait for an hour for my 2 subs and called to ask why and had a rude reaction when we are literally 2 mins away. Not good business or professional manners at all! Very disappointing!

This JJ started out great. It was really good to have a sandwich shop in Roselle, one that was fast, clean, and with staff who seemed to care about getting your order right. Unfortunately, the service has fallen off considerably. You simply can’t get a sandwich there that is done right unless it is ordered strictly by the menu. I’ve tried to order a #11 with no cheese and extra tomato the past three times I’ve been there, and each time they’ve gotten it spectacularly wrong. I have only gone back because it’s on the way to my kids’ doctor and my blood sugar was going to crash if I didn’t get food ASAP. I’ve gotten a #11 with no cheese or tomato, with cheese but no tomato, ham cheese and lettuce with no turkey or tomato. It’s a sandwich. It’s not that hard to put together correctly, especially if it’s not ordered during the lunch rush. I second the other reviewer who said their cookies are a joke. They are. They’re hard and the white chocolate chips taste like plastic. They’re not worth the calories. I wish I could update my review with another good one, but I just can’t. I don’t know what’s gone wrong, but I hope they fix it, because Roselle needs good businesses – we don’t have that many.

Come on Jimmy Johns when a 9 year old ask for lettuce on a sandwich and you say sorry can’t do it or we will have to charge you a $ 1.00 more on a $ 28.00 order it may be time to go back to SubWay !!!

I’ve ordered lunch from here 3 times in the past 2 weeks. They’re not kidding when they say«subs so fast you’ll freak.» The driver ALWAYS delivers my lunch to my obscure suite in my office building way quicker than I anticipate. The subs are delicious too… The bread alone is amazing. I’ve yet to have a bad sub from here, and I don’t think I will, as long as I stick to what I like. Evenly applied mayo and avocado spread? Check. BBQ chips? Yum. Chocolate chunk cookie? Double yum. This location’s service is as good as it gets. Quick, polite drivers, WHOALWAYSHAVECHANGEFOR A TWENTY! Two thumbs up, 5 stars, A+.

In our household, it goes something like this: hours of work in the garage doing maintenance/tinkering/swearing/bleeding? Jimmy John’s. Just washed and detailed a car/bike? Jimmy John’s. Did a bunch of yard work and don’t feel like making/waiting for lunch? Jimmy John’s. So we were happy one opened that was pretty close. At first, it was great. JJ’s consistently has good bread, which we love — both kinds(yes, country and western… er, french and whole wheat). Then they stopped serving sprouts. We know that was a chain decision, and don’t blame the local one at all. It was unfortunate, but it’s understandable with so many sprout-related salmonella outbreaks. Soon after that, the quality started to fall off — at least, at this location. I’d say we eat their subs less than once a month, so we haven’t exactly shopped around at other JJ’s lately to compare — but we’re going to do so the next time we need a JJ’s sandwich. The French bread has been hard the past two times we’ve had it – almost like it was overbaked. It doesn’t taste stale, so I don’t think they’re serving us day-old bread — but the hardness is off-putting, and greatly detracts from sandwich enjoyment. Occasionally, we’ll get a big cookie and split it. JJ’s big chocolate chip cookies used to be soft, tasty, and really quite good — especially for something you can get from a drive-thru. The last one we had was hard and old, lacked flavor, and was generally disappointing. In fact, it was so disappointing that I had no choice but to bake a batch of good cookies later that afternoon, so we could wipe that memory of cookie disappointment from our minds. If this is a chain-wide standard drop, they’re falling right off our list. If this is simply a location standard drop, it’s still very disappointing.
