Business closed eventually. Not sure why it took so long. Closed as of 1÷26÷15. A hotpot restaurant is renovating the location.

Let me tell you what you can get for $ 83… :) The most expensive combo… which comes with single plate with a tiny cup portioned size bulgogi, 5 bite size pieces of steak, 1(ONE) shrimp, 2 scallops, 4 pieces of ribs. 2 bowls of rice & soup. ONE set of side dishes. That’s it. God forbid you ask for a SECOND refill on the side dishes, ’cause that’s EXTRA that you have to pay for: D The only thing great is that they don’t expect you to tip them. YAY! With service where you have to stand up for them to notice you, who needs a tip anyway? They’ll even wish you a fake«Thank you! Happy New Years!» when you’re all done :) Thanks Manna… continue giving bad service and providing stingy portions of food so we can stay the hell away from your establishment!

Randomly came here for dinner last week and we ordered approximately $ 100 worth of food. The food is way overpriced but I think the service is definitely what makes the overall experience worse. When we needed extra utensils, we had to flag someone over about 4 times to bring us what we needed. After ordering, they repeated to us on 3 different occasions that it only came with 2 bowls of rice and we understood that. When our food arrived and we remembered that we still didn’t receive our rice. We had to ask our waitress another 4 times for the rice. When were were almost done eating, that’s when they finally brought over our rice. REALLY?! What was the point of emphasizing the 2 bowls of rice we would be getting and then bring it when we were almost done eating. We also asked them for a refill on side dishes. It wasn’t until we asked for it on the third try that the waitress said, «You guys wanted extra side dishes? Oh I’m sorry but there will be an extra charge for them because you guys didn’t order enough food. Maybe if you guys ordered more then we could give you another set.» Why couldn’t they have told us the first time we asked? We WERE going to order more food, but we opted not to because the service was so poor and the food was overpriced I normally never write reviews; however, my family and I felt so unhappy and unsatisfied with our experience that I thought it was necessary.

Don’t go for all you can eat!!! Over Poor service ever. I took 6 friends to the restaurant for new year dinner but i didn’t know that the service will the worst. They serve you slow with every order at least 15 mins waiting for the food. Then they told you after you eat for 2 hours that your time out!!! They should tell us first, but yeah it our fault didn’t read well. Bad service we will never come back again.

It’s overpriced. The food is shit. And so is the service. Well actually our server Jazmine was very sweet. Her coworker could use some work. Unnecessarily rude, sarcastic, and defensive. Definitely never coming back to this place.

This Korean BBQ restaurant has been around forever. I practically grew up in this restaurant. This Korean restaurant is excellent for large groups. They have plenty of seating and parking available. They have comfortable booths. The restaurant has a nice traditional Korean interior that gives a comfortable ambience. They offer almost every single Korean dish you can ever possibly think of. Manna also has the option of letting you cook your meat in front of you or have the kitchen cook the meat for you. I usually like to order their Bulgogi beef, their Corvina fish, and their Kalbi ribs. All the entrees and their side dishes are flavored very well. They have unlimited side dishes, rice, and barley tea. Also try their green tea ice cream for dessert. This place is great for families, friends, and kids. If you plan to bring a large group, remember to make a reservation before you go. This restaurant is definitely a family favorite.

We were there with a party of 7. Of course we ordered all AYCE. Food is ok. Servers are friendly. My gripe is with the rules. My uncle came about halfway through the meal. He didn’t want to eat the AYCE since he was not that hungry. But he was going to order off the menu not AYCE. They said we cannot do that because that we may share our food with him. I mean I get it. I understand why they don’t want to do it. So we said he will sit in a different table. And they said no he cannot stay unless he gets AYCE. Wth? So he left.

Food ok, service slow. Food over priced. Not a very good value. But more like 2.5 stars.

Ok…$ 2.50 for a canned soda. Geeze!!! It’s almost like they want us to drink water. The banchan… sucked and very minimal. They didn’t even bothered to ask us if we want more… but rather offered not give us all of them. There is one guy that works hard, and one of the older Korean ladies works very hard. The other two ladies stood around. No sesame oil with my bi bim bop. So sad… my egg was over cooked as well. Just overall expensive and not very good.

Freedom of speech… ahhhhhhhh! Freedom of expression, yaaaaayyyyy!!! I just loved perusing all the mixed reviews of this establishment that has been around since 1988. It’s amazing that a reviewer loved the food but hated the«slow» service would give a 1Star!!! Sorry, doesn’t make sense! Or complaining that $ 24.95 for ALLYOUCANEAT is a rip off? Wow! What do you want, 10 lbs of filet mignon? Geez people, I would like to see you open up a business! Ok, enough for my rant. My experience here has been exceptional. I’ve come 5 times in 2 months and had attentive/expedient service! I don’t give a rat’s behind if they’re Chinese owned! What about all them Sushi houses that are Korean owned? WhatEVER! Sorry, ranting again! I’ve had the Bulgogi which was very tasty and portioned to nicely. My new addiction is the Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap. It’s not the best, but it sure is tasty! I am a fan and would order it again! I really enjoy this establishment, especially when the waitress remembers Roland L’s ice tea preference! You go Roland L!

The best K BBQ in La. The meat is very fresh as well as the seafood. This is not a traditional Krestaurant but I think Food is the key. In commonly, I am too lazy to comment any restaurant or food. But when I read some guys complained the owner is stingy, I really want to say«It is not buffet!»

This place was not very good coming from someone who has eaten Korean food most their life. The flavors were dull, yet the meat all looked unpleasing. But then in the location that it is in, there are not that many Korean places so I guess I cannot complain too much. Well we might as well call this place Chinese bbq because this is far from Korean bbq. This is what Korean food may be like if China invaded Korea. I have had $ 10 dollar AYCE places which had double the quality this place currently displays. The service was good however the food was not very delicious at all. If the quality of the food was as half as good as the service, then I feel this restaurant would have a chance at success and would be able to receive better reviews and more customers most likely. For the 1 star quality of food, and 5 star for the service, I must settle at 2 stars because service cannot be the over weighing reason in what makes a restaurant good, other than the food itself.

So good every time. C3 is the bomb! It’s dark, a comfortable cool Breeze and most importantly, It’s clean. Love it more every time and I’ll be back!

(Please keep in mind that my tone is not meant to be extremely harsh. I just don’t know how to write in a way that lightly expresses my disappointment) :’( This is the first and last time I will ever order takeout or eat from this place. The food quality to food quantity to price ratio is COMPLETELY off. Dont get me wrong. If the quality was BOMB.COM, I’d be fine, but that wasn’t the case. I’m just completely baffled at this situation I put myself in. T___T Let’s start from the beginning. 1. I called several times because the lady on the phone kept ending the conversation without trying to sell me anything while I asked about the lunch menu that was not online(all of that is the restaurant’s own internal problem that they will have to deal with). I didn’t think much about it because I assumed they were busy. 2. Finally ordered: 2 Lunch Combinations(should have come with their own side dishes, house soup, and steamed rice according to the lady on the phone), 1 Tofu Soup with Mushroom, 1 «Sauteed glass noodles with fresh beef and vegetables»(aka. Chap che?) 3. I pick up the food around 12:30pm and see that there are absolutely no customers in the restaurant. 4. I take the food back to the office for us to eat and found that there were empty spaces in the boxes, we were missing both house soups, and there was only 1 order of side dishes in little tiny sauce containers instead of 2 orders of what we hoped to be reasonably sized portions… The tofu in the tofu soup was all mashed up and the spare ribs were undercooked and tougher than what we would’ve liked, but that is always going to be subjective. 5. What we ordered and with everything we were missing cost me $ 52 and something cents. :’(:’(:’( (I knew I should’ve checked before I left, but didn’t think there would be a problem because I was the only customer… mad at myself for leaving without checking) 6. Now I wasted time writing this sad, but important review. :’(:’(:’(:’(:’( Bottom line. All of us in the office are upset. Until they ATLEAST fix their quantity to price ratio or quality to price ratio, we are never ever going back again. :’(:’(:’( Maybe their«All You Can Eat» option is better, but I will never try it… :’(

First let me say that I have been a happy and loyal customer of Manna for about 5 years and have always considered it a hidden gem. That being said my last experience at Manna may have been the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. The usual waitresses were there but there was a manager lady there that I have never seen before and she was rude and disrespectful. My girlfriend and I always raved about the service here but this manager lady made it a point to never come to our table, she was trying to get us to order more food and she would only give us 2 bowls of rice for a $ 80 meal(we were a table of five, 3 adults and 2 kids). I’m not big on writing bad reviews in fact this is my first post on Unilocal only because I felt it had to be done, I always looked forward to coming to manna but I will NEVER come here again . When I got the check I asked the waitress why the manager was so rude she apologized gave me a pack of gum and said«everyone is complaining and there’s nothing I can do». I felt really bad for the waitresses as I left, seems like this lady is also making their lives hell as she did with ours during dinner.

I grew up with this Manna location and have been a customer for over 20 years. Until recently, their quality and service has gone down, portions have gotten smaller and prices have more than doubled. Their banchan is incomparable to even a tofu house. This location is owned by Chinese people and it shows through their quality and types of banchan served. Their pancakes are overfried with a grainy texture; very different than Korea owned restaurants. Take your money elsewhere, this manna location is not worth going to anymore.

AYCE with small portions of meat = more variety! Yay! We got the usual mix of meats: bulgogi, kalbi, marinated chicken, squid, brisket, etc. My favorite, surprisingly is the brisket!(Yes, I know it’s the cheapest and flavorless.) But I really love it dipped with my sesame oil mix with salt and pepper. Other top choices were the bulgogi with a great marinated and the kalbi with a nice soft texture. The winner of the night was the kimchi fried rice! I so saranghae that kimchi fried rice! A little sour with a bit of a spicy kick and some pieces of beef, my tastebuds had a WOWgasm. Yum! Downside? Extra charge for leftover food, 2-hour eating time limit, and no steamed egg or tofu soup :(

Now all you can eat! =] Great food, AYCE, soju. This is a great local AYCEKBBQ around 626 area. The food is great! I’ve been coming here for years now and they have never let me down. Only thing is I wish they had tongue. =P

Korean AYCE bbq means me happy. This place failed to impress. Here is why: 1. No salad. This is an absolute must for any Korean bbq restaurant. How do they expect customers’ bowels to stay regular? 2. No tofu soup. 3. Meat arrives in thick frozen blocks. Sorry, the brisket needs to be sliced thinner. 4. It is dark in there. 5. Price. $ 24.98 per person. Hwa Ro on Valley Blvd in San Gabriel charges $ 18. Koreana in Riverside charges $ 18. Gen in Tustin, Manna in Little Tokyo, Cham Soot Gol in Buena Park, Korea House in Rowland Heights and Garden Buffet in Artesia all charge significantly less and taste much better. Manna faces some stiff competition.

One of the very few Korean BBQ places in the SGV with real grills. Their building is pretty unique too. It looks more Japanese than Korean but that’s ok. The prices here are higher than other location. The last couple of times I’ve been here, the food has been good and the service has also been good. So if I’m in need of a Korean fix without driving far, I come here as oppose to those Tofu houses offering Korean BBQ. It’s just not the same. They do offer a few banchans here. Its definitely not as extensive as Genwa. **Good alternative in SGV***
