Quickly’s was a big part of my childhood, much more so than McDonald’s was. I’d choose $ 1 boba milk tea and large bag of popcorn chicken over a large coke and McNuggets anyday. But as you grow older and your palette matures, you realize there’s better boba milk teas out there — like Teastation or Half & Half. But you always come back for the sake of your childhood memories. But you know what? Despite its overall mediocrity, there is one drink that really kicks ass here. It’s their jasmine green milk tea. It’s almost comparable to the one from Teastation and that’s the gold standard for me. For $ 2.93 for a large, it’s quite a steal.

The drinks are average but they have really good popcorn chicken, perhaps the best within a 5 mile radius. Their fried rice and beef chow fun was loaded with msg. Popcorn chicken w rice combo was decent. One of these days I will try their noodles.

This QUICKLY is right down the street from my work. This place is in a small plaza on Mission so it might be a little hard to find. They do have a parking lot so parking is easy to find. The crazy thing about QUICKLY is that no matter which QUICKLY you go to their boba taste the same. The only difference is how the owner takes care of their location. And i have to say this location is CLEAN compared to alot of other QUICKLY’s i have been to. I always get the regular boba milk tea, but you have to try their POPCORNCHICKEN and also their SEASONEDFRIES. depending on your spice level of course these two food items are perfect with a cup of tea. or something to share over a conversation!

I can only vouch for the drinks here, have not taken the time to stop and eat here yet. Went for my usual Quickly favorite, a passionfruit iced tea and it was great. I love that you can ask for every level of sweetness, even just a bit is plenty. They have huge sizes available, I go with the biggest, at $ 4 a great deal and lasts me the rest of the day. My drink came out fast and tasted great. Service was very nice, the store simple, but clean, worth returning.

Credit Card: They do take credit but the order has to be a minimum of $ 10 or pay tge 50 cent transaction fee. They also have a «certificate» which is basically a gift card. Phone orders: Yes they take phone orders. Delivery: They actually have a free delivery service but only to Rosemead High School and it has to be a minimum of $ 20. Free Drinks: Quicklys has the basic 10 stamp card for 1 free drink. Only L and X-L sized drinks apply for a stamp. Wi-fi: Free wi-fi, password posted in the shop. Parking: Finding parking is not bad. Even when the high school rush hour is on, you may be able to find parking. Tables/Space: If you are looking for a seat you won’t find one. Especially during the high school rush hour. You also compete with the people that like to bring their laptops to study, so I suggest you get take out. The shop itself is really small. There are literally only 4 tables. When ordering, there is no clear pathway for you to stand in. When the place is packed with high schoolers, you have people camping at the front counter, people in a long line, and people waiting outside for their order. Even getting outside when there’s a long line is a battle in itself. Drinks: If you’re looking for quality boba you won’t find it here either. Quicklys is what I like to call«budget boba». The boba balls aren’t chewy and they don’t flavor it with honey. The drinks are generally less sweet and watered down because they put in more powder and syrup than milk or any other sweetener. Food: They have quite a variety of food compared to other boba shops for snacks and take out food. This Quicklys has better food than drinks. They actually have many locals eating Quicklys take out food for dinner everyday. Also, I’m not talking about dinner for a single person, I’m taking about dinner for a whole family. You can never go wrong with a party platter. Menu: The menu has the basic Tapioca Milk Tea, Thai Tea, Jasmine Milk Tea, etc., but they focus more on flavor fruit teas and slushies such as Strawberry Slush, Lychee Green Tea, Apple Slush, etc. Cup Size: Regular, Large, X-Large(they recently added the X-Large about a month ago, it’s the same size as Honey Boba or Half & Half) Price: Personally, I don’t really care where I get my boba as long as it’s boba. I think that the prices are really nice and cheap. To others, they think that the price of the boba is too expensive for its poor quality. Bathroom: They have a single bathroom for both customers and employees. You may only use it if you’re a customer. Fundraiser: Don’t be surprised if people hand you a fundraiser slip. Because Quicklys is so close to the high school, Quicklys is one of the top places for fundraisers. If you are handed a fundraiser slip, all you have to do is buy whatever you planned to buy and hand the slip to the cashier. You don’t need to buy anything extra or buy insurance. Also, the fundraiser return is 15% if you wanted to host a fundraiser. All you have to do is call and ask for a fundraiser, schedule a date, and you’re done. Not a Gangster: If you were reading the reviews, some people mentioned there being gangsters/smokers in front of Quicklys. Those people aren’t gangsters. They’re just young smokers. Recommendations: Food: *Spicy Popcorn Chicken with Sweet & Sour Sauce(most popular food/snack $ 3.50 not including tax) *spice is optional *must ask for sauce, sauce is free Drink: Strawberry Green Tea, Jasmine Milk Tea with Egg Pudding, Taro Slush with Boba *it’s $ 2.70 not including tax for a L drink without toppings

We found this place by accident. We went to some shady apartment rental agency next door(don’t go there and don’t be a sucker and give them your money), instead go next door to Quickly and order the Combo — spicy and grab you a boba drink. The prices are unbeatable and their Combo is delicious! The combo is a bunch of deep friend goodness laced with some spicy seasoning. Popcorn chicken, fish balls, calamari rings, and i believe it’s tofu. I also order the shrimp snack pack to add to the the combo bag and enjoy the tasty snack. Me and my hubby always have to stop here when we’re in the area, or not. We crave this. Been to other quickly’s, but this location is the best. Food is better quality, takes credit cards, ample parking, free wifi, great service, and affordable prices. They also have a drink reward card, after 10 Boba drinks, you get 1 Free. They also cook take out, there is always a lot of people picking up take out from here. So far I’ve had their fried rice and it’s really good!

$ 3 for a Jelly Passion fruit Tea. I don’t think you can mess up this drink. It was drinkable! They do a stamp card too. The only thing is I wish it looked/felt cleaner. They offer homecooked foods(minced meat, popcorn chicken) but its pretty messy behind the counter. Not really my cup o’ tea.

This is the best quickly store I’ve been to by far. The prices are so affordable and the food and drinks are delicious. Service is awesome. They give you water and ask you if you want anything else. One time I ordered beef noodle soup with egg noodle and it was pretty good for $ 6 — they gave me a lot of noodle. My favorite snacks here are popcorn chicken and fish balls. Favorite drinks are passion fruit and Thai milk tea.

I love this location! They serve delicious popcorn chicken and meals. I always feel like I get what I pay for. Super large portions of popcorn chicken, fried, and Taiwanese sausage pieces. I always return to this location because it serves delicious home style meals. None of the quickly’s in this area have a full menu.

This has become my favorite Quickly! They have the best popcorn chicken and the awesome string fries, very addicting. Service is quick, they accept phone orders, and credit card. …not many boba joints will take credit card. .minimum purchase 10.00 But today they messed up my order. .but it’s ok, we’re only human :)

For those who have had there fair share of boba, we all know that quicky’s is consider low tier boba, or what I like to call«Highschool» boba. It’s the early introduction phase into the world of boba and I’m not surprised that this store nearby multiple K-12 schools. I’ll have to admit that I have spent a few days afterschool hanging out at quicky’s in San Gabriel. The drinks here are cheap and for the most part, not that bad. You may notice that some boba shops use the same«powder» drink mix for their drinks. You’re just paying less at quicky’s. I’ve always skipped out on the boba here and just get my drink without it. I think it taste much better so I don’t have to gnaw on their chewy boba. This place also serves food. I’ve only had the popcorn chicken which was a bit salty but still pretty good. I would avoid going here during the weekday from 3 p.m. — 5 p.m. due to the rush of high schoolers after school. Oh and you would also be cautious of fobby asian wangsters that think they are«cool» hanging out side of quicky’s. Caught one of them leaning on my Lexus –___– Overall, cheap drinks and a decent place if you just need something quick. The kids can get annoying though.

It tastes watered down and flavorless. Also our drinks were messed up. They need more than one person making drinks. I felt bad for the lady. I probably won’t be coming back here

Their boba is old and hard, no flavor what so ever! And the food is always put away when I want to buy chicken! Why have food on the menu if there is never any available?

I view most of the Quickly’s on the lower end of the quality spectrum when it comes to quality and cleanliness. This is one of the better ones but not by much. Most quickys are independently run so the owners get to do their own thing. Sometimes it just ends up looking sloppy(ie, selling random chips/items, using cooked food storage areas for other misc. things). The drinks here are better sometimes than others, but usually kind of watered down. Their chicken and fries are on point though. I come here occasionally because it’s convenient and that’s it. I’m also glad they still have a stamp card for certain drinks. A lot of other ones did away with that long time ago.

We swung by after getting phở next door at HP Phở Ga Bac Ninh. When I think of good boba, I never think of Quickly… it’s probably the worst quality bubble tea you can get, comparable to Lollicup. But since it was so close, I figured why not. The woman at the counter couldn’t understand me at all, as there was an obvious language barrier. I asked if they had any milk slushes, similar to the ones at Half and Half, and she said yes. When I asked for one with caramel and boba, she said they didn’t have that. So I asked again if they had milk slushes, and she said, yes, that they have mango slushes and more… which is not what I wanted. I ended up getting a Milk Green Tea with boba. She ended up messing up my order and gave me my drink without boba. When I told her the boba was forgotten, she said that she didn’t charge me for boba and the order was correct. She dug through the receipts and saw that she was wrong and didn’t apologize whatsoever; just took my drink and put boba in it. The drink was very basic and standard, a little on the sweet side. Regardless, I won’t be coming back as there are much better choices for tea and boba in the area, especially since this Quickly’s menu is so outdated and filled with syrup– and powder-based beverages.

Ok so I like to try different boba joints even if they are chain shops since each one is a bit different than the next even when they carry the same items have the same menu etc. I have been here a few times now and this is mostly based off of the first trek but items that ring true regardless. Well they dont all have the same specials or things posted in English so it was worth trying I felt. In the end i dont know if I got the specials that I wanted or not. Grrrrrr to being forced to read Chinese characters which is not possible for a guy like me. I simply cant read nor do I know Chinese in order to be able to comprehend it, if I could I even have read it in the first place. Pro Tip: Have someone translate the specials! So I ended up getting a very average lychee green tea w/boba. A ton of students hang out here as well. This is not good IMHO as they all seemed like teeny boppers to me. The place was literally standing room only, the parking is tough as well… The main menu is in English which is handy. You can use the standard quickly punchcard at least. Overall I like the place but its hard to get parking and to understand what all is available here. Tasty stuff to say the least. The grub here is tasty, popcorn chicken, onion rings, etc from the snack menu have all been delightful so far. Check it out if you dare to brave the teeny boppers and bad parking lot design.

I hate how sometimes when I go between 10−11am they don’t have boba or only have mini boba –_– if you don’t have boba right when you open and you own a boba place … Just don’t even open your business at that time !!! Make more regular boba please because I hate mini boba! Lol On a brighter note, their drinks are yummy and cheap so I can’t complain too much :)
