Americanized Japanese food.(Think of Panda Express or Taco Bell). Got their Chicken Yaki-Ramen & Half Crunch Roll. It actually doesn’t taste bad. Fairly decent for what it is. Like the price.

This place has gone down hill. The food used to be more fresh and not upset my stomach so much. My son doesn’t like it anymore either. I got upset stomach from Udon soup. Tables are always dirty. It’s not a good place to eat healthy anymore.

Yes I read all the reviews despite all the bad ones I decided to give this place a chance it’s near my work and i was craving sushi today. Everyone was right the food if over priced and not great . Super disappointed the food was bad really bad I paid $ 8 for a plate with no drink. It had a funky smell to it when I opened the Togo box. I had a taste then threw it away.

This place is great for dates and hangouts! The atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing ! Also they play a lot of Korean music which is nice too! The food is great here, I’ve been getting the bulgolgi kimbap and it’s one of my favorite dishes. My second pick would be there noodles. The one with black sauce over it. Also look out for their drink, milkis, it’s sweet and a little tangy. The service here is awesome. Servers are all friendly, and my server, dustin always does a great job to make me and my friends feel welcomed. They’re attentive and check up on you :) this place does a great job with their food and service so 10⁄10

First time here ! Not really a fan of this kind of food but it’s healthier than my usual choices so I tired it out and it’s great !!

Food is good for the price you pay, comes in handy when you want a quick meal before going to school at the PCC Rosemead.

The food is great ! Except the cashiers aren’t quite friendly ! It’s cheap and the rolls are big. Also the teriyaki is delicious

I come to Rolling Rice for its filling and healthy vegetable rolls. Not many restaurants serving Japanese food have vegetable rolls that is satisfying much less offer brown rice as an option. The food is clean and service is fast and friendly. Thank you, Rolling Rice!

i went here about a month ago. i ordered the unagi bowl. don’t get me wrong, it tastes great. though i wish there were more eel than rice. but my main concern here is the cleanliness. one of the workers seemed to be sick, and while i know that it is very common to catch a cold, i would really appreciate people to use at least a hand sanitizer before they touch and serve me my food. it is my fault for not saying anything, but at the same time i think in my head i was afraid of getting served worse if i would have said something. but lesson learned. never again. since i caught colds later on that day. –_–

Not the best. I came here on a Thursday night, and there was barely anyone there. Still, it took over 20 minutes for my ‘fast food’ to come out. The sushi is okay considering the price, but the chicken teriyaki bowl was just not satisfactory. Definitely not returning.

Food is average, there isn’t anything special. Roll specials are limited to about 12 selections. I’ll come here from time to time just to get a quick sushi fix

Its a place that is decent for japanese food. The taste wasnt like exceptional but expected from what they look like. Fish was fresh enough. I like them and would go there for cheaper food if im ever around. Give them a try!

DONTGOHERE!!! Dear managers, Don’t hire teens ever again. Just went there and was treated like a prison inmate. When I finished paying for my order, the neanderthal you call employee told me I didn’t place any order! What the hell?! Haha I showed her the receipt and she brought the wrong order. Then I told her it was the wrong order she then yelled at me in front of customers«DONTYOUKNOWIMUNDERALOTOFSTRESS?». Well, that’s, that.

Meh. This place is going downhill! It is disappointing because I used to come here all the time when it first opened. Now, its overpriced and the food is mediocre. Do not order sushi, the fish is definitely NOT fresh!

The menu was expanded and prices were raised slightly to keep up with the times. There is no longer the Combo A-C specials with teriyaki chicken and a drink but they now offer a lot more options with udon combos, combo plates, rolls and teriyaki. Since Combo C is no longer available I usually get the udon combos with a crunch roll and a drink added for just $ 1. I also like getting the Philadelphia roll and the roll special that comes with 5 pieces each of spicy tuna, california roll and crunch roll for about $ 10 which is a good deal. Also, the sushi doesn’t break apart anymore :)

First time in my life wrote a review for 1 star, I payed 7dollards for worst salad I ‘ve ever tried. They basically cut 3 leaves from the lettus, put some super salty chicken and toss one tea spoon of sauce in it. I should have waiting in the long line at deli box in that plaza. So angery !!!

This place is pretty much what it seems like, quick and budget friendly sushi. Not the best but not bad. Haven’t tried the teriyaki though. I come here on my lunches to get my sushi fix. Service is good, employees are friendly. I couldn’t find a recent pic of the menu so I added it myself, you’re welcome ;)

Take it for what it is… A fast food rice bowl place. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mixed Terriyaki Bowl, but felt they were kind of chincy on the protein and veggie portion. You have a choice of ordering the mini version or the full. I’m assuming the full bowl has more stuff! For an extra buck you get a refillable drink with your meal. Besides the regular Coke soda fountain, they also have a Gold’s Peak tea dispenser. Yes! Quick notes: Sauce covered all rice. One piece of broccoli :( Chicken was charbroiled and tasted like the terriyaki sauce Beef. Cooked in a similar fashion as the chicken. Drizzled with sauce. Terriyaki wasn’t terribly sweet so that was nice Rice was sticky and my favorite part of the meal. For a meal under $ 10? Pretty average. I’d go back for rice, chicken and veggies.

I live by this place and pass by it daily. I wasn’t too hungry and just thought 1 roll would do. I usually go to Wokanos for Sushi but didn’t want to deal with LA Traffic right now. Despite all the bad reviews… I still came. Definitely not coming back. I ordered 1 Unagi Dragon roll $ 7.69, 1 Miso Soup $ 1.35, & a chicken udon soup for my Daughter $ 5.85. All for under $ 17 and it was a waste of money. Overpriced much! Miso Bland and the Sushi… what do you expect for a fast food Japanese Infused place?!? Udon… my Daughter is just eating the noodles only. Only upside, bathroom was clean and it was dead inside AF. Now I know why. Next time I’m going to Yoshino Sushi for a quick fix.

This review is just for my experience for the sushi. More like a 2.75 kind of deal I didn’t get a chance to eat their cooked foods. I only got the Salmon Roll. which came out to be $ 7.84. Thinly sliced Atlantic salmon with 2 pieces of avocado on top of a California roll. Salmon grade is around American supermarket quality but is acceptable. Wasabi is white people wasabi. Service is on point. I mean, this is a fast food joint after all. It is what it is. check out my pictures :)
