I just visited this hotel for a business trip and was unlucky enough to get the room with bedbugs. In one night, I received over 20 bites that are extremely itchy. Since my stay was so short, I didn’t realize what had happened until after I left as bites sometimes take 24 hours to appear. I will be definitely filing a formal complaint later on– please beware!

Overall good hotel. Only stayed for one night but was very clean and front desk was friendly. Provided a stress relief/sleep kit on the bed with two different lotions and a calming spray which was a nice touch. The credit card machine at the gift shop didn’t work so had to pay cash or charge to the room which was a little inconvenient. There’s a mall in walking distance and a number of restaurants nearby.

Unwilling to do anything about rowdy teenagers who are literally crawling on the floor of the elevators — and took more than 30 minutes to get us an operational key card to get into our room… can’t give anything more than one star and we haven’t even made it into the room yet.

You have your own in house restaurant but for some reason you do not due room services from 11am to 5pm. What manager on your team made this moronic choice. Your restaurant is a pizza place. Are you unable to have someone take an order and walk a pizza to a room for 6 hours of the day. Your pizzas are marked up like 500 percent. If even one pizza in your whole hotel is ordered every hour that pays entirely for the staff member to deliver the pizzas Inatead you have people ordering pizzas to be delivered from businesses miles away because some person decided that for 6 hours a day no one should have room service. Is there a person who has any sense making any decisions.

We had to stay here for a conference. This is an older hotel and it looks it. The hotel rooms are a little bigger than usual. It was clean. They need better sound proofing all around. You can easily hear the planes and noise from the next room. The food is ok and nothing special except for the Caesar salad which was very good. One mattress was ok and the other was worn out. Staff was nice. A great thing about the property is Gibsons restaurant right next store. The hotel bar is very small compared to the capacity of the hotel and getting a seat can be a challenge. Its definitely not a terrible hotel but given all the other options in the area we would stay elsewhere.

Friendly staff. Clean and comforting hotel. Got a complimentary upgrade to a suite without asking. Good food and restaurant and lounge. Separate thermostats for the living area and bedroom was a great finishing touch. It’s the simple things in life, really.

Discrimination while checking in guests based on their arrival. I came in to check in at 12PM for AEM conference, receptionist by name AMBER told me that the rooms are under cleaning and will text me on my phone once ready. I sat in the lobby seeing people checking in upon their arrival and questioned Amber after an hour. She fumbled and assigned me a Room. When I insisted for an explanation she lied that they came in the morning and were in wait list and hence checked in. There is no business card of hotel manager at front desk. This is my first stay with crown plaza and ill never use and recommend crown plaza hotels.

Park & Fly for me. The employees were courteous and friendly. The room itself was comfortable enough. An unfortunate event was traveling during Spring Break which made room service a bit slow, otherwise, this spot is right on for location to O’Hare!

VERY clean place and the crew is SUPER friendly. All considered I enjoyed my stay. The front desk remembered my name which was nice and offered me to join their points club. They have all the needed amenities(pool, gym etc) and there are restaurants in the first FL. It is also close to the airport and to a shopping center. On the other side of things; parking is $ 25, there is no breakfast included and you can only use a certain amount of wi fi before you are required to pay. I would go back because I enjoyed the stay though the increase of rate due to the parking is very troubling.

Just checked in… 1st. Parking is $ 25 a night for self parking in the back of the building with no other option at all !!! That wasn’t mentioned anywhere when booking, parking lot a good walk away from the elevators which is really inconvenient. Not my caddie. This time but I bet it won’t be easy if you have kids suitcases and a strollers with you. 2. Front desk very nice and helpful. 3. Getting to the room and both keys don’t work so again good long walk with all suitcase back to front desk to find 20 ppl coming off a bus to find myself back in line. 4.Useless guy in a suit standing in the middle doing nothing telling me ” I can’t help«you need to stand in line. Again !!! 5.Finally at the room, room is decent and updates overlooking the pool. Very nice… But apparently its a see through cause ppl looking at you when blinds are open. 6. Two nights to go will see how the rest goes.

This is fine for a layover hotel if you’ve got to stay near the airport but this def does not live up to the normal Omni standards. The lobby is tiny and feels like its an afterthought, elevators to the room are down a ramp and down a hallway, not convenient at all to get to with luggage. The rooms are«updated» style wise, but it still feels cheap and rundown. No closet doors, just a curtain where they would be. Curtains over the windows dont close all the way. The carpeting in the hallways is striped, but the stripes are pulled and stretched over years of use, adding to the feeling of being rundown. Ceilings are all low inside making it seem smaller than it is. The gym is split between a small overcrowded weightroom and a bunch of treadmills out in the pool room. The pool is heated so its pretty warm in there, after 20 min of using the treadmill I was overheated and needed to end my workout. The equipment in the gym is nice though Breakfast is buffet only, no menu or a la carte options, didnt bother staying any longer to see about any other meals.

Had a great stay here when coming back in town from Virginia to see my beloved Bears get their first win of the season vs Oakland on 10÷4÷2015! Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was nice, clean, and cozy. I had a great view of the distance Chicago skyline and close to the other cool Rosemont-area attractions I recall while growing up here as a kid. The indoor pool was nice, the resturant and bar where top-notch(at least for what we ordered). The crew and staff where acoomodating. If you are not a fan of large crowds, this might not be your place. Not of that bothers me though. After all, it is a conference center near O’Hare. Kudos to the staff for a great stay.

I faced a bit of a conundrum on a recent trip to Pensacola since my fiancé and I chose to take a different flight from the rest of my family. They were taking a really early flight(read: before 9:00am) and honestly, the thought of having to get up super early didn’t sit well with us. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a ride to the airport. Granted, we had options, which were to drive ourselves and park there, take a cab or take the Metra and then take the shuttle from the Metra stop to the terminals. Honestly, all of them sounded awful to me. Maybe it’s just me, but I really hate riding cabs. I always feel like cab drivers are driving super-fast so they can drop you off and pick up their next ride. I just don’t trust them! Plus, the thought of paying an arm & a leg to park at the airport didn’t sit well with me either. A co-worker mentioned that she and her family park at the Crowne Plaza whenever they take a flight out of O’Hare. She mentioned that the price to park is fairly inexpensive. I looked it up after she mentioned it to me. I booked my parking through this website: . The daily fee at the Crowne Plaza is $ 7.50, which isn’t bad at all. They offer a free shuttle which takes you to the airport. The airport is located 3.3 miles away. I booked our reservation online and paid $ 5.50 upfront. We paid the rest($ 32.50) when we returned. Total was $ 38 for 4 days, which isn’t bad. When you book your reservation online, you have to select your arrival and departure time. For our 10:35am flight, we selected an arrival time of 8:00am to give us plenty of time. To get to the lot, you take a ticket and then find your spot. They’ve got uncovered and covered parking. We were lucky enough to snag a semi-covered spot close to the hotel. Once we parked, we grabbed our bags and waited in the lobby area for the shuttle. We didn’t have to wait long and then we were off. Do keep in mind that the shuttle can’t drop you off directly at the gate. They drop you off at the Bus/Shuttle Center. Our guy was nice enough not to go all the way down it so we didn’t have a long way to walk to get to the terminal. You can tip your driver, but it’s optional. On our return flight, we followed all the signs at O’Hare to get to the Bus/Shuttle Center, waited for a little bit, boarded the shuttle and were dropped back off at the hotel. I paid for the rest of our parking fee(make sure to keep your ticket so you can get out of the lot); we found our car, hopped in and were on our merry way home. The hotel staff we interacted with and our shuttle drivers were all courteous. I’d definitely recommend reserving your spot online to expedite the process. All in all, parking at the Crowne Plaza was super easy. I’m so glad my co-worker told me about this, and I’d definitely park there again.

Excellent hotel and super nice staff! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I liked my room and thought the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was more spacious than another Crowne Plaza I had stayed at. Some places checking out that aren’t far from the hotel are the outlet mall and Giordano’s.

Here I am, on a road again There I am, up on the stage Here I go, playing star again There I go, turn the page I know Bob Seger is from Detroit, but I kind of feel that this hotel is a «Turn the Page» type of place. Because the internet is by nature super-bitchy, I’ll hit the low-lights first. 1. The Elevators– These dinosaurs are from the Ming Dynasty or something because they’re so old. Not only did they take forever, but sometimes they didn’t even work! And that’s my list of the negatives of this place(sorry, haters!) On the plus side, the staff was super friendly. Even when I used my Hilton Honors credit card to check in, they were still polite and jovial. The bed was a little soft, but nonetheless comfy. I slept like a log… I know you’re thinking«no you did knot» but it’s true(p.s. I like puns) Everything was very clean… my room was spotless. You could eat off of the floor! There is an indoor pool, a weight room and a separate cardio room. Everything worked and was fairly clean… that is until I got done with it because I sweat like Victoria Falls! Final bonus– free airport shuttle. Very quick and easy to/from the airport. In sum, this is about what you’d expect from a large hotel by a major airport, but it’s got some charm.

Let’s just say a mediocre experience. When I checked in I headed up to my room where I was greeted by a door that wasn’t even closed all the way. I didn’t even need my keys to get in. Since everything seemed to be in order I chalked it up to carelessness on the housekeeper’s part. Anyway I decided to take it easy and order a pizza and planned on watching the charger’s game on NBC… unfortunately their TV doesn’t get NBC. Are you freakin’ kidding me. Anyway the room was clean and a decent size. I couldn’t seem to get the room to a stable temperature but that might have just been me. It was either too cold or too hot. Anyway I was there for meetings so I spent a decent amount of time downstairs on their conference center. About that I will compliment the staff. Very hard working and friendly. Also every meal served was amazing. The only major tips I will give them is in regards to their restrooms in the conference center. Get better air freshener! Every visit was an attack on the senses. ALSO… If you’re going to have a female attendant clean the restroom she needs to close it while cleaning. Very uncomfortable using the restroom having a female attendant walking around cleaning. Other than that it was a typical airport hotel.

Don’t believe the good reviews and pretty pictures! I’ll post my photos shortly! This place has big problems… staring with management I’m sure. Immediately upon my arrival, I was greeted by a lovely young lady. She said, «Mr. Shell, because you booked through , though you booked a king size nonsmoking room, we’re going to have to put you in a smoking room with with 2 double beds.» I asked why, she said because they are overbooked. Hmmmm… Let’s make sure I got this right. Because I booked through ; even though it was the same rate as your direct rate, I’m being treated as a 2nd class citizen… Because Crown chose to overbook the hotel, I’m being shuffled around… okay, it’s my fault, totally. Next I go to my room… of course, upon getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor of the hotel; I’m greeted by a lovely stitch and yellow-nicotine stained walls and ratty carpet. Enter my room, furniture is worn, smells like stogie-hell & is like 80 degrees in the room. Go to turn on the AC; the door falls off the dingy window unit. Yes… the room has a window… sweet, at least a view… LOL of a hallway below on the 1st floor! This is evidently what they call an atrium in IL. I go to use the restroom, and of course, some smoker’s pubies are still conveniently waiting for me in the shower; as if I don’t have enough of my own. The internet; well, perhaps I’m not suppose to bitch since they gave me free wifi for f-ing up my room, but no kidding, do you remember what dial up was like? After logging on, it literally took 5 minutes to load Yahoo as well as every other web page. In fact, I’m copying my text of this review so I can post it later as I’m pretty doubtful the page will load. The only good thing, after I raised holy-hell with the staff, they moved me into one of those rooms they said they didn’t have any of… the king size nonsmoking room I had booked… of course after informing me how good of a deed they were doing me; pointing to the fine print that is buried in the web site that says you’re actually agreeing to whatever room you get; not the room you booked… gee, thanks guys, I really appreciate that favor for my $ 230 per night in S-hole O’Hare/Roseland… — — — — STILLGOING I GUESS… It’s morning… I’m on my way down to ask for my 2nd room change(the Safe is broken and the TV could only get channels 3 – 13; out of 40 channels). And yes, the reason I’m still typing this is because the internet is so slow that the post I attempted to send last night never loaded. When I went to the desk this morning, someone from guest services greeted me. When I asked to change rooms and explained why, he rudely said, come back later and ask, we don’t have anything available. Just to be clear, this morning, I was nice as the only issue I had didn’t involve an asthma attack from cig smoke(which I’ve not had one in like 6 years until last night) or a dirty bathroom. I then asked if it could be taken care of earlier or automatically for me, since I would be gone all day; at which point he shoved a piece of paper in front of the girl to his right and told me, «She’s going to have to take care of you, I’m leaving.» She did in fact take care of me; with a room that; once again, magically appeared as available even though the rude a-hole 15 minutes prior told me to come back after 12 because their were no rooms… WTF is wrong with these people??? Just remember folks(who don’t own their own businesses), generally it starts at the top… crappy management breeds crappy staff. I’ve read a couple of these great reviews; it’s clear to me they are paying a reputation management company(or staff) to write posts frequently in order to keep their star rating high. There is absolutely no way there could be so many 1 star reviews vs 5 star reviews. The reviews are also way to accurate in terms of how they refer to things; only the way a local would. How about instead of paying people to write good reviews you guys pay people to do their job, making the place nice… so your clients would write good reviews???

Me menciona tres hoteles, y tres precios diferentes. ¿has disfrutado de tu estancia?».
