Last weekend I had my husband’s surprise 30th birthday party here. I did a private room with the catering package. This is about an hour away from home for me, and with it being a surprise party I never got the chance to go out and see the space before my party. Hristina was very helpful, most of the planning was done through e-mail. She even texted me pictures and a video of the space so I could plan decorations. My sister and mom went early to set everything up and said how very helpful the staff was with anything they needed! Rich, who is the manager, was great. He made sure everyone in the party was ready for the surprise before he brought us to the room and checked in throughout the party to make sure everything was going well. We had about 50 people, it was really nice having our own personal bar and space. I ordered the Italian Buffet, everyone at the party told me how good the food was, and I agreed(always a good sign)! I chose this location because we had several out of town guest. It was nice guest could walk between the hotel(Hyatt), casino and restaurant. I would highly recommend this place for a private party, I couldn’t be happier!

Cocktails we not great. My dirty martini was not very dirty. My husband’s mojito was made from a pre-mix even though the menu states that it was fresh muddled. I had a Cobb salad, hard to mess that up. My husband had a burger and fries. He ordered it medium rare and it came well done. He said the fries were ok. Service was eh. The waitress didn’t seem super excited to be there but she wasn’t rude. Our drinks came separately and by 2 different servers, even through we had ordered them at the same time. That was a first for us. The décor is fun. What we would’ve liked to be our kind of place. But with everything else just being passable, the ambiance isn’t enough to get us to come back.

We received a complementary invitation to Rosies since it replaced the former establishment called Salute. This was a great way for us to find out what kind of food they serve and their restaurant style. So the three of us from work went there one night for drinks and appetizers after work. First of all, when you drive up to the address, you will wonder if you’re at the wrong place. But the restaurant is located on the main floor of the Rosemont Village Hall building. Once you enter the restaurant, you will notice that the décor is very rustic and definitely different than the prior Italian restaurant. The large square-shape bar is to the right of the restaurant. There are both booths and tables on the other side of the restaurant. We ended up sitting at a table at the back of the restaurant. This way I had a good view of the restaurant. After we ordered our drinks, we started picking out some appetizers. The server definitely recommended the nachos. We ended up ordering the following appetizers: Nachos — you will never have nachos like these again. There addictively delicious. I’m still craving them. I highly recommend anybody who goes to Rosies to order the nachos. Buffalo chicken tenders — these were really great as well. Barbecue chicken tenders — good but I like the buffalo chicken tenders better. Hummus — very good and I liked the presentation The drinks were made well and I think they were priced fairly As my coworkers and I enjoyed the great appetizers, I noticed some of the regulars coming in to watch sports games on TV. Since we only came for the appetizers, I’m hoping to go back to Rosies to try a meal. They are located across the street from the rivers casino so I hope they’re still getting some business because they are WORTH the stop.

We came here on a Sunday morning at 10 am. There were 6 adults and 2 toddlers and we were just looking to grab some breakfast before my dad left town. The server was nice and we were seated in a nice spot for the kids to not be in anyone’s way. We ordered 3 bloody Mary’s, one mimosa, and three coffees. The server forgot one coffee and one Bloody Mary. Ok, no big deal. Then we ordered and our food came a while later. One item was completely forgotten & another came with cheese(which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, and the person who ordered it can’t have dairy). The server was defensive and said that it did mention it on the menu. So, a little while later they came out with the forgotten breakfast and the non-cheese breakfast. However, the now non-cheese item was supposed to be an egg white omelet with salsa, onions, and avocado but it was some turkey/onion omelet. This was turning into a comedy of errors. We let the server know, and at this point, we didn’t want them to bring anything else. They took the item off the bill BUT also double charged us for the«forgotten» item. We let the server know so she could figure out why the cash we left just covered what we should have paid for. My husband did not like his very basic eggs and bacon breakfast. I have no opinion since I didn’t get to eat. Overall, the service was really bad and we won’t go back.

The place is nicely decorated and service was good — until our waitress’ shift ended and the new waitress ignored us. We started with calamari which was good, but had more tentacles than rings. My husband and I had the Saturday Special«Award Winning» ribs which we felt we could make better at home — they weren’t bad, just not great. The coleslaw was really good — had an Asian/ginger flavor. My son had burger and he loved it. Our friends had fish tacos and salad which they liked. Drinks were really good — I had the cucumber and cilantro margarita and it was delicious. They have good drink and dinner specials. Since this place is owned by same company as Morretti’s we expected a little more, but they are new and maybe need a little more time to perfect things. We will go back and hope to give more stars.

From what I have noticed within the past couple of months is the wonderful returning customers and regulars this amazing establishment has, especially people from out of town and from local Chicago land area! Our goal at Rosie’s is to show each and every customer an extraordinary experience from the moment they come in, to the moment they walk out the door. Our friendly staff and our world class menu is the reason why all roads lead to Rosie’s.

It’s always interesting to compare experiences of other reviewers with mine. I noted a number of reviewers complimented the service so my wife and I headed over to Rosie’s River Edge Tavern. This is part of a much larger restaurant group which owns about 20 other establishments in the Chicago area. So, with that in mind, the standard changes from a single owned restaurant owned by an individual to a company that needs to have processes in place to run their restaurant. Some observations-first, when we walked in, it was clear there was nobody there to greet customers. We visited on a Saturday night at about 6:15 so this is close to prime time for dining. We waited a few minutes for someone to notice us. It became apparent they had the servers provide that service in addition to handling tables. Not a good idea-I noticed numerous customers coming after us running into the same stand hoping to be noticed. The servers did the best they could but it’s just not a very good business model. The restaurant was about ¼ filled when we arrived-there’s a large bar and a number of tables with a small number of booths. The booths were full but the tables were mostly empty. The décor of the restaurant could be best described as «random”-a number of guitars are present on the walls along with various steins and assorted advertising artifacts. There are a lot of televisions too. I had the«ultimate nachos» while my wife had a steak sandwich. I think they forgot the«ultimate» part of my nachos – the portions were rather small but what was there was actually pretty good-it’s just there weren’t enough of them. My wife reported her steak sandwich was tasty. The server forgot to bring the soup that was ordered. From observation, this seemed to be a function of being short on staff. The pacing of the meal was poor-there was a long wait between time of order and the time the food arrived. Would I return? Probably not-the quality of the food was okay but with a staff stretched too thin, service-from the initial experience when you walk into the restaurant to the quality of service at the tables, I can’t recommend this restaurant. I think the servers tried to their best but the leadership of this chain put them in a no-win position by not staffing the restaurant correctly. Head over to MB Financial Park which is a 5 minute drive if you are in the area.

I have never had a worse experience in a restaurant in my life. I went with a group for a trivia night. Trivia was supposed to start at 8, so we arrived at 7 to secure a spot. The trivia did not start until 9 even though the place was packed and everyone was waiting. On top of that, the person doing the trivia did not know what he was doing and was extremely rude to everyone, at one point saying that he «didn’t care» and no one should take it seriously. Our waitress came by to check on us about every 45 minutes! Not a single one of us got something that we liked. All of the food was terrible. At the end of our night the manager came over to ask if we had fun and we expressed our concerns about the food, the wait, and the trivia and he just said«okay» and walked away. Not somewhere I would ever go again.

Working at an area hotel, this place is great for us to recommend our guests to go to! We have been there multiple times and ordered food to be delivered directly to the hotel. Food is ALWAYS on point! Service is great! We haven’t made it there for breakfast yet, but the guests we have sent there said it is delicious. Finally, another suggestion we can give for breakfast in the area for our guests that want to get outside of the hotel. Highly recommend the kickin’ slaw as a side.

Met up with my sister and her fiancé from Indiana here for a casual dinner. Great drink prices and cool specials for each day of the week. The crowd was a little thin being that it was Monday but I can tell that the place probably goes off on weekends! We would come back. Val, our server was great too.

If it’s Friday morning and you have a hankering for breakfast and a bloody mary, it doesn’t really get more convenient than this(be warned, however, bar service only starts at 8AM). The breakfast offering are standard — nothing to write home about(and not much to write in a review about), but all the major breakfast categories are represented: omelettes, skillets, breakfast quesadillas, and more. The service was friendly and fast and the food was tasty and hot. The place has an overall Rosemont kind-of feel — pretty polished on the surface, but with the potential for some shady stuff underneath. But I guess that’s how it is located on the edge of a casino parking lot. I’ll have to check it out sometime after dark. I noticed they have karaōke some nights — after a few drinks my girlfriend and I love to belt out tunes to a bar full of friendly strangers.

No idea how on earth this place gets 4.5 stars. It’s best at average. Not that they’re not trying, service is great! Just food is so-so. It’s a nice local joint, just don’t expect the world here. Beer on draft is meh. Pretty std American beers. Few crafts. Bottle selection ain’t much better. Tough for me to write a bad review b/c it’s good service. Wouldn’t go back…

This place is awesome! Highly recommend going if you are in the area! GM Rich was so great and super hospitible and our waitress Morgan absolutely lovely and took care of us 5star all the way! Bloody Mary was OFF the chain and food was ONPOINT. I got the Cobb salad, it was a big hearty salad, definitely enough for a meal! Can’t wait to go back!

We were happy to find a new place to go to not far from the L station we use that isn’t part of the Rosemont MB Financial Park/entertainment district(just not a fan of that place). They even have a big party room with another bar downstairs that seats up to 100 for private events. Plenty of TV’s both upstairs & in the private room downstairs so you can watch whatever sporting events are on. The staff was all very nice and the service good, though we were there at 3:30 on a Sunday so they only had a handful of customers. It did take quite a long time to get our check, which was the only downside to the service, especially since they weren’t busy. The Hubs & father-in-law each had Pulled Pork(1 a sandwich and 1 the dinner, which was a LOT of food). Mother-in-law had the fish tacos. They all enjoyed their food but I found the Mahi Mahi sandwich to be pretty bland — I couldn’t really taste the Captain Morgan Sauce that I could see was on it, just not much flavor and the mango-strawberry salsa on it also didn’t do much. I did like their kickin’ slaw I got on the side — plenty of flavor and a nice kick to it. They had a decent beer list though not nearly as big of a selection as I had expected.

We loved the atmosphere here. Good food with large portions. Our group sampled the B-T-A, Jessica’s Chicken Bacon and Avocado Sandwich, Tender Filet Sandwiches, and a cheeseburger. Everyone was happy with their decision. The drinks were good, service was good, and prices aren’t bad at all. If I lived nearby I’d be a regular, especially for their late night festivities.

Yes sir I like it. Went for lunch with work group and enjoyed it. Food was good. I ordered the chicken bacon avocado sandwich and got it as a wrap. Opted for the kicking slaw which has some ginger on it with jalapenos so more asian in style. They did a real nice job revamping the place, very cozy feeling. Bathrooms conveniently located right outside the entrance door. Statue of Stephens going up in the parking lot. Across from the casino. Private party room available, speak easy down stairs open until 4AM! They have free WiFi but you’ll need to sign up with your email addy. When you do, you will receive an email for free dessert with meal in next 14 days. Good TV coverage, tunes, and looks like they even have a corner stage for some music. WAY better than Zalutes.

Came for breakfast. Great service, very friendly and attentive. Good came quickly, which is good when you have three small children with you. The food was delicious! The egg sandwich was awesome and my husband had a scramble which he thought was really great! The ham off the bone was a nice touch for the sandwich! We would definitely return and would love to try there for lunch or dinner in the future!

Really enjoying this place. So far 2 for 2. The chicken avocado bacon sandwich was good, and the adobo chicken tacos are good.
