Very busy on a Saturday night. Was sitted within 2 minutes of arriving. Menu is pretty straight forward. There are three different combo meals that you can get that range from $ 26.00-$ 49.00. The combos come with 3 – 4 different kinds of seafood and a couple of sides. The combo are big enough for two people to share. We got crawfish by the pound; which, was quite affordable($ 13.00 by the pound). It was our first time trying crawfish. Was rather disappointed in the flavor. I am not much for spicy food, so I got garlic butter. My son got the mixture of all three/four. I can say that I couldn’t tell the different. Though, to be fair we both ordered the sauces«mild»; I think next time I return, I should have more«spice» in the sauces. Service was good and our wait staff was very informative. I give Crawfish Factory three stars because I felt there should be a noticeable difference in the sauces that the fish/seafood are sauteed/boiled in. Next time I return, I’ll try either the crab or shrimp by the pound to see if the added«spice/heat» is worth returning.

It has taken me so long to make it in here! I’ve been looking for a good place to have crawfish again. I didn’t know what the market price was going for and that is what kept me away for so long. Turns out, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. We saw a Groupon, $ 18 for $ 25(so we saved a couple a bucks) and got our butts in here. When we came in, it was not busy at all. We were greeted by Moriah… she sat us down, greeted us, and started by asking if we had ever been there before. Since we hadn’t, she explained how we order, pick a sauce that our seafood will be marinating in as it is served to us in a bag. Since we had never been there before, she brought out a sample of all the sauces. We decided on 1 pound of crawfish in the Factory Signature sauce and then 1 pound of shrimp with heads in the Lemon Pepper Sauce. We decided to add some corn on the cob, potatoes, and rice. When the shrimp and crawfish came out, they were in big clear bags with lots of sauce, corn and potatoes in it. Rice came in a bowl in the side and Moriah gave us bibs to help out. DELICIOUS! That lemon pepper sauce is soooo addicting! We couldn’t wait to have another bite of shrimp! The crawfish were good, the shrimp was just better, lol! When we finally finished our Mmmm’s and ahhhh’s… Moriah brought us the bill, took $ 25 off for the Groupon. She brought us a wet nap each, we paid and we were on our way! The only thing that could’ve improved or visit is if we would’ve gotten gloves. We went through soooo many napkins! Another table that had come in after us had received gloves and I think those would’ve come in handy.

Wouldn’t honor advertised nfl special. Rude waiters. It was my birthday and they didn’t make it special. They gave us menus and then said we don’t offer that anymore. Wtf? Keep your menus then. RUDE.

Came here with my family and I was impressed! We went to joes last month and this place has it beat 10 fold. We had the factory mix and we really enjoyed it. Sam took great care of us. We will be back and we’ll spread the word.

If you love seafood & lots of it in Cajun spices then you need to eat at Crawfish Factory in Roseville! YES… ROSEVILLE! No longer do you have to drive all the way to South Sacramento for Boiling Crab! YAY!!! As a seafood LOVER& former pescatarian, I most definitely recommend Crawfish Factory! Everything I’ve eaten here is great & I’ve literally tried all their seafood on the menu! My favorites are the mussels(they’re big & meaty), king crab legs(meaty & sweet), the shrimp w/heads on(large & juicy) & their oysters(fresh & flavorful)! All the flavors are delicious, but I usually go for their Factory Signature HOT& w/a side of rice I’m as happy as a clam!!! Even my 9 year old daughter LOVES this place & can put down a pound of crab legs on her own! The staff is really nice & explains the menu throughly on your first visit. They have great deals for dinner/drinks & your food is delivered quickly! This restaurant is also a lot bigger then Boiling Crab & has a better selection of food & drinks. A great place to take family & large groups & in my not very expensive for what you get! We love this place & will return as often as we can!

I gave it a second try and I want my money back! Even when they say they have live crawfish, it’s precooked days prior when I finally asked. Mine were rubbery and have a green tint to the tail meat. Awful! When your paying $ 13 per pound for crawfish… I expect them live and cooked to order otherwise don’t call them live and rip people off with high prices. Even Boiling Crab is charging $ 7 per pound right now because they aren’t live and cooked to order.

I Went to check this place out with a few friends. We shared the pound of crawfish with the Cajon fusion sauce and the seafood gumbo. The crawfish was cooked well and the cajan fusion sauce went well with it. My friends and I agreed that the gumbo was not very good. It was very fishy and had a bad aftertaste. We had only a few bites of it and pushed it to the side. The customer service at the restaurant was not very good. The lady that was our server was not very attentive. We had a hard time getting her attention to refill our beverages, and to bring us some crab crackers. This was all of our first time at this establishment and not once did the waitress ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. The only thing that saved it from getting 1 star was the cajan fusion crawfish.

After months of anticipation to try this place out we finally made our way for my grandmas birthday dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday night. There was a good size crowd inside but really not busy at all. It took about 10 minutes to be seated when all they really had to do was push a couple tables together. We were given menus and the girl took a good while to take our drink orders. Another while passed to get our drinks and finally make an order. 2 people ordered chowders, 1 clam and 1 seafood. The seafood came out promptly then came the calamari appetizers. then a couple bowls of gumbo but wait? We were still missing a cup of chowder. The chowders came out luke warm almost like they had been sitting out. I opted out of eating anything there for personal reasons so I can’t say anything about the food however; my mom was super excited to eat crawfish. They ordered a pound and both mom and dad said they felt yucky after eating it. I later spoke to someone who knows the owner who said the crawfish is no good over the winter. Overall maybe if you love Cajun food this is a great place to come to but this review is mostly for the poor service. The girl was nice and wanted to do good but it just took too longer to even get a couple of beers. She seemed very flustered handling 3 tables I can’t imagine a full house!

I’ve been in love with Cajun style seafood restaurants like The Boiling Crab and Firehouse Crawfish, so of course when I saw the awesome Groupon on Groupon… The boyfriend and I just had to check this place out so we made a drive to Roseville. The restaurant is decorated with an ocean theme with nets hanging from above and sea life on the walls. It was very nice and had a great atmosphere. We were greeted upon entering and our server was very helpful and friendly. I really like that if it is your first time there, they will bring a little sampling plate of the sauces they offer(as pictured), that way you’re not ordering blindly. To start off, we ordered the garlic fries which came out hot and tasty but it was a little bland. It would have been better if there were a little more seasoning on the fries since the garlic seasoning did not cover all the fries. We each ordered a pound of shrimp with corn and sausages. After tasting the sauce samples, we both decided to go with the Factory Signature Sauce which was a mixture of sweet/spicy/creamy. This was indeed their signature sauce because it was very different and I’ve never came across a sauce like this anywhere else. It’s not your usual salty-spicy Cajun red sauce. However, their signature sauce was the only sauce that I had enjoyed from the sampling. All the other sauces were too salty for my taste. I did notice that their menu and market prices were slightly higher than other restaurants of the same concept, perhaps to make up for Groupon usage? Nonetheless, it was a great experience. We ended our meal with a shaved snow. Taro flavor with condensed milk, topped with blueberry popping boba and strawberry mochi, yum!

Went there for the 1st time last night for my birthday dinner with my man and some of his family. It was the most amazing seafood I’ve ever had in a restaurant. This place beat Joes Crabshack by far. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful birthday meal and great hospitality. Will definitely be visiting again. P. S. love the soju drink I had also but would like to see margaritas on the drink menu also.

I love seafood but am wary of trying new places but I grabbed a great groupon deal and well it’s closer than driving to South Sac for me. I agree with some other reviews about the sauces being a little salty and I like a lot of salt but it was almost to much for me. But I do love that you can try all the sauces before ordering. On to the Shellfish! We always try the same thing to compare. The boyfriend having a lb of king crab legs cooked the garlic butter with added sausage. He was very happy with crab, huge pieces of crab and that sausage is something else, delicious. I had a lb shrimp head on with potatoes added with Cajun fusion sauce. The shrimp were previously frozen I think because they were extremely mushy when eating. Also I notice a large number of my shrimp were all black which I have never seen and was very unappetizing. They might have been fine but I didn’t want to find out. We were lucky enough to come at happy hour so a blue moon and hot sake at 3.00 a piece that is a great deal! Service was also great the staff was very nice and accommodating. With the groupon the price was affordable, however I will stick with what I know and love boiling crab and firehouse crawfish.

Slow service I have been wanting to try this place since they opened for business… and I guess it took a year(and a Groupon deal) for me to try it. Our dining experience came on a Saturday evening around 6:30p. The main dining section was packed and servers were busy running around serving their respected tables. There was no host(ess) in the front to greet us or tell us how long the wait would be. We stood there for about five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. Once in a while a server would come our way only to turn into the kitchen or we would just get a look… ahh! finally! someone said«we’ll be right with you»… –waiting– then a different worker would say the same thing… there was a whole section to our right that was empty, no customers. Finally, we were shown a table in the empty section. We were given menus and asked what we’d like to drink. We got our drink and the server took our order. Browsing through the menu we noticed that the seafood combos were mostly all market price. We opted to order what the Groupon deal was which was $ 25. Hubby and I each ordered fish and chips. With this order we had choices of fries(regular, garlic, or sweet potato). Soon after our meals came… The fish was tasty and delicious, the garlic fries were great! But in the middle of my meal I got really thirsty and our server was busy waiting on other tables. I had emptied my glass of water even before we got our meals. It was difficult to flag him down. I was super thirsty and I finally got up and flagged another server to pour me some water. Same story went when I asked for a to-go box and also when I asked for our ticket. Hubby just went to the counter to find someone to just ring our bill. –sigh– Hate to be a crabby patty but, I don’t know, other diners that walked in after us were almost seated immediately without any wait. It was just slow service for us. Also, this is our first time to try something like this and I think the Boiling Crab and Joe’s Crab Shack offer the same type of dining experience?

Just happen to drive by this place the other night and we decided to check it out. Sad to hear it has been open for almost a year and we just noticed it. It’s a little off the corner, and there have been a few restaurants not work out in this location, but after having dinner here, I really hope this one makes it. We had the chefs special with medium spice which was perfectly seasoned for those like us who like a little heat but don’t want to sweat while eating. I would suggest the lower priced option without the snow crab.($ 10 more for the«½lb» of crab isn’t worth the small legs you get) The staff knows the products but we had to wait for drinks and refills longer than we should have considering there was only one other table at the time. I gave them a 4 because of those details, but we both really liked this place and will be back within the next few weeks.

Crawfish Factory has been on Groupon for a really long time now. After resisting to buy the deal for months I finally gave in since we were heading out to Roseville to run some errands. Every time checked the Groupon page that darn picture of the Roasted Crab was there tempting me! So we stopped in at Crawfish Factory around 6:30pm on a Sunday evening. The place was clean and had fun décor. Their concept is the same as all the other seafood boil type places, the only difference is they offer a few additional items(seafood burgers, gumbo, garlic noodles, whole fried fish). One cool thing is they bring out the sauces for you to taste before ordering. My husband and I decided to try something difference and had the factory wings, garlic noodles and sizzling seafood platter. I enjoyed the wings. They were crispy and glazed with a cajun type bbq sauce. For the price I think they gave a pretty good amount of good sized wings. The garlic noodles were super garlic-y, it was good… but I told him husband I like the way he cooks it better. The seafood platter was a good portion size and mix of shrimp, calamari, fish, scallops, mussels and vegetables. It’s basically similar to other sizzling seafood platters you can get at a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in making recommendations. She was friendly and checked on us often. One thing that separates this restaurant from all the other seafood boil restaurants is they offer special snow desserts(think vampire penguin) and boba drinks. Per pound I think this place might be a little on the higher end. I can’t remember exactly what it was but I think the price per lb of crab was somewhere north of $ 15. Overall we had a good experience but probably won’t go out of our way to return. There are many more places better and closer.

The waitress was very sweet, that is the only reason I am giving 1 star. This was my first time here and was very excited. The food was very over cooked and mushy. Our dish included crab, clams, mussels, crawfish, prawns, corn and potatoes. The corn on the cob was so mushy it made me gag. The crawfish also made me gag. I’m my opinion the seafood seemed a little old. The only reason it had any taste was because of the salt and the seasoning they cook it in. I very disappointed! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

I DUNNO Came here for lunch on Saturday. When seated, we asked for a lunch menu, was told lunch menu only on weekdays. Showed the server their own website where it says LUNCHEVERYDAY. She went to get our drinks while we were debating on staying or leaving. We were literally 10 seconds away from leaving when she came back and said«the manager will honor the lunch menu.» Ummmm… ok. In all honesty, I’m not sure how to take that. My gut reaction is «We tried to screw you, but since you called us on it, we’ll do what we are supposed to do.» Like I have stated many times in my reviews, I own a small business… my customers get YES answers… and it blows my mind when a restaurant wont let you order off the lunch menu when they advertise«Lunch Every Day» on their own online menu. So that kind of set the tone. We decided to stay anyway. Next Faux Pas: I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. Server states: Just so you know, they are served cold… ceviche style. Sigh. Long story short: Gumbo, Fried Rice, some Crawfish, and some Spaghetti for Sara. Nothing great, nothing bad… just average fare. Kudos to our servers for trying very hard. Bonus points there… and they were very kind and gracious. Negative points on the Restaurant and Management and Menu. I guess that equals 2 stars… it would have been 3 if we thought we would go back… but we won’t.

We’ve been here probably 3 or 4 times now, always with a groupon — i feel like without a groupon it’s a bit pricey. The concept here is exactly like the Boiling Crab for those who have been. That being said, for us Roseville residents — it’s WAY better than driving out to South Sac to get a huge bag of seafood though :) We typically get the Chef’s Mix — it’s 2 pounds of seafood — shrimp, crawfish, crab legs, muscles and clams — and we’ve gotten almost all the various flavor mixes — they are all for the most part really good — the only one we haven’t done is garlic butter cause — well that’s so boring :) The food always tastes pretty good and fresh — seafood that is — the corn is previously frozen you can tell and it’s always tough. The potatoes usually come out pretty good, at least 1 or 2 each bag are a bit undercooked, but the sausage, worth the $ 0.85 — get multiple — my hubby does. Those taste really good! The last time we went we just did 1lb of shrimp, muscles and clams and added in the potatoes and sausage and it came out closely priced to the Chef’s Mix and I feel like we got a lot more edible food and it was great. We’ll do that again next time :) CHECKOUTGROUPON — there are ALWAYS deals — and it’s usually $ 15 for $ 25, but if you get your occassional groupon coupon codes, you can save another 15−25% which is really worth it :) Service is okay — the 2nd time we went they totally messed up the flavor we asked for — and when we told them it was wrong, they just returned the exact same thing to us — and the same bag of food(already cooked in the wrong flavor) and just refused to admit they were wrong. Until i complained to the manager, who gave us a measly $ 10 gift card and finally said, yeah we saw that the server put in the wrong sauce — twice. Whatever — the same server has not screed up again in the past 2 visits so, i think he learned.

Great food and amazing service! This little crawfish gem has boba drinks and shaved ice on their menus. I loved my cantaloupe tea and shaved ice. Our server was very attentive and noticed I didn’t finish my tea and offered to make it to my liking. I asked if she could make it less sweet and she totally took care of it. Will definitely be back for the entrees.

I’m a big fan of sea food and am happy to see a place similar to Boiling Crab here in Roseville. I ordered the garlic fries and fried calamari. The dish was very yummy and the price was great, seeing that I had dinner with a friend during their happy hour. Their service is awesome! I wanted honey mustard for the fries which was a sauce they did not have but their cook went completely out of her way to actually make it for me and it was delicious! They’re also very good at keeping your beverage filled! Great service! I’m rating this four stars because I wish there was more to the menu. I will still need to make a trek out to South Sac for the awesome BC Cajun fries but CF is a great addition to Roseville.

Whoopee a Boiling Crab style restaurant right here in Roseville! This is a pretty big place complete with a separate room that could be used for parties etc. I haven’t been to every boiling bag seafood joint in Sacramento but this is about two to three times larger than BC and could be the largest in Sacramento. The décor is sparse but the place is roomy and comfortable. The menu consists of your standard seafood along with items like garlic noodles, shaved ice deserts and boba drinks. We tried the $ 49 Combo bag which came with lobster tails, shrimp, mussels, clams, two corns, two sausage and two potatoes. It also included crawfish but we asked for extra shrimp instead. Per pound pricing were as follows: shrimp $ 12.95 lb, crawfish, clams and mussels $ 11.95 lb. snow Crab $ 16.95 lb, lobster $ 36.95 lb, dungeness crab was $ 24.95 lb?. We ordered mild combination sauce, can’t remember what it was called but the flavor was good. Our seafood was all very good and fresh. The lobster tails were surprisingly good and came with the tops sliced in half for easier access. The shrimp were a good size not giants, but not small either. The corn is not worth .89 cents as I am certain it is frozen and not fresh. The potatoes are a pass as well they really don’t add anything to the meal. The sausage was delicious and a definite add at .89 cents. I am so sorry I put my phone away in preparation of eating and forgot to take a picture LOL. We also had a large mango shaved ice with mixed jellies and condensed milk. The ice is served in a froyo style cup so its a little bit difficult to share and dig into but the combination we choose was very tasty $ 5.95 or $ 6.95 can’t remember. Overall we were very happy with Crawfish Factory and we intend on returning. CF currently has offers on Unilocal $ 10 off $ 50 and a Groupon $ 18 for $ 25. Make sure you take advantage of these offers to offset the higher prices.
